Chapter 335 Core Planning, Black Star's Origin! (III)
The [Faction Management] interface is the most complex in the NPc template, with a dazzling array of options. It can perform all the functions a normal faction provides to players, such as faction relations, contribution points, and it can finally issue faction missions, although these functions have quota limits.
The reward quota for individual missions depends on one's own level, tier, faction relationship, and Legend Points, while the faction quota is an independent system with six factors.
[Faction Reward Quota: 92000]
[Leader Level Lv70: +56000]
[Officer: None] (NPc)
[Size - 47 members: +20000]
[Fame - 2: +4000]
[Legend Points: Leader (3) +15%]
[Allies or Enemies: None]
The faction quota is used to issue faction missions. 92000 is the maximum quota for a single mission, and the base for the daily total quota multiplier is twenty times, far more than the five times for the individual total quota. Moreover, officers, Legend Points, and Fame add to the daily total quota multiplier. Currently, Fame is too low to be displayed, while Han Xiao's own 3 Legend Points as the leader increase it by six times, equivalent to two times per point, making the daily total quota temporarily twenty-six times.
Twenty-six times means 2.4 million experience points can be distributed to players in the same faction every day, but averaging it out among 50 people, each person only gets 50,000 experience points per day, which is obviously quite low for players of this level.
"The quota mainly restricts the size and speed of expansion. This is just the quota when the faction is first established, and it has great potential for growth," Han Xiao said confidently.
He analyzed each item one by one. First of all, the leader level goes without saying, the stronger he is, the higher the quota. Officers must be NPcs, and NPcs of different strength levels joining the faction will bring quota bonuses, which made Han Xiao even more determined to contact protagonist-type characters. The size includes players, and the bonus model is similar to the energy level, requiring a certain number to reach a certain standard before the next stage of quota bonus can be obtained, such as the next bonus requiring a size of 100 people. Fame goes without saying, it's the same as the reputation system, but with a small difference, the faction's Fame is the sum of all regional reputations, such as 10 Fame Points in the Garton Star System and 5 in the Goron Star Cluster, adding up to a total of 15 Faction Fame Points.
Legend Points provide a percentage bonus to the quota, which is very beneficial, and it's not just the leader; if team officers have Legend Points, they will also bring a quota bonus, so recruiting NPcs is very rewarding. Finally, there are "Allies and Enemies," which are the relationships between one's own faction and other factions, equivalent to diplomacy.
In addition to faction missions, you can also manage player faction relations, contribution points, etc. Han Xiao was extremely satisfied with this function. Many data are clear at a glance, and he can use the panel to attract players with more methods.
When Han Xiao's faction was born, the players received a panel prompt.
[You have joined the [Black Star Mercenary Group], current relationship: Tepid (0/300)]
The players were used to it. In their view, the appearance of faction prompts was normal.
The names of the players appeared in Han Xiao's faction management list. His eyes flashed, and he sent a prompt to the players.
[You are the first members of the Black Star Mercenary Group, Contribution Points +300, Current Relationship: Neutral (300/1000)]
"There are such benefits?"
"The relationship is directly neutral."
The players looked surprised and hurriedly looked at the faction panel. Faction relationships were also contribution points and could be used to exchange for rewards. They wanted to see what exchange items the Black Star Mercenary Group had.
As soon as they entered the faction reward interface, a dazzling array of items popped up, many of which were things Han Xiao himself sold in the shop. He transplanted them to the faction rewards, and he also put up some good things that were not for sale, such as: Generation 2.5 Ranger, requires 1500 Contribution Points to exchange; Small Folding Turret, requires 1200 Contribution Points to exchange; the original version of the Viper Mech, requires 6000 Contribution Points to exchange.
These pieces of equipment were like drawing a big pie, a routine that had been used many times, but it always worked.
"Good stuff!"
"Godly gear!"
The players were immediately excited, their inner desires running rampant. These pieces of equipment could not be bought and were appearing in front of the players for the first time, creating quite a sensation.
Han Xiao said in a timely manner, "The mercenary group has just been established, and the credit score is still very low. Only by improving our credit can we take on higher-paying employment missions. We are partners now, and the future of the mercenary group depends on the joint efforts of everyone."
Then, on the faction panel he showed to the players, he specially marked the current size of the faction, reminding them that faction growth would increase mission rewards. He did this to make the players understand that their own contributions could promote faction growth and were closely related to the amount of their own rewards, increasing the players' sense of involvement.
This series of punches made the players dizzy.
Then, Han Xiao turned his head to look for employment applications from the Sunil race. For the sake of the secondary class, he decided to accept the Sunil race's mission first. He quickly found several mission recruitments, but the recruitment requirements required the mercenary group to have a credit score of at least 120 points.
"120 points?" Han Xiao stroked his chin. If he went through normal channels and did a few external combat employment missions, he could accumulate 120 points, but he decided to do those hub internal missions that only gave 1 credit point. Daily missions were safe and simple, but they were time-consuming. However, the players were readily available, so why not use them?
He immediately used the new function to write a faction mission for the players.
[Faction Mission—[Credit Standard]]
[Mission Introduction: The Black Star Mercenary Group has decided to accept an external employment, but it has not reached the credit standard and needs to improve its credit score. (Note: This is a prerequisite mission to unlock the first external employment)]
[Mission Requirements: Accept daily employment within the Hub Hall. The Black Star Mercenary Group's credit score must reach 120]
[Reward: 45,000 experience points, 300 faction contribution points]
[Remarks: The top three contributors to the credit score will receive additional rewards]
"The experience is quite low, but the faction contribution points are quite good."
"Didn't you see? This is a prerequisite mission. There will be combat employment after completion, and that experience will be much more."
"This is a collective mission, right? It requires everyone's contributed credit to reach 120 points."
"Oh ho, the top three credit contributors will also get extra rewards."
Everyone whispered to each other. Seeing the extra rewards, Kuang Dao and Hao Tian were eager to try. They knew better than anyone else that Han Xiao's extra rewards were definitely good things.
The mission required them to only do daily employment within the hub, which only increased the credit score by a minimum of 1 point. These were all cleaning, logistics, and maintenance work. The benefit was that they would not leave the Jubely Hub. With more than 50 players working together, accumulating little by little, the credit would accumulate very quickly, so Han Xiao was not worried at all. Moreover, the employment mission itself also gave players rewards, plus the faction mission, which was a double reward. Players joining his faction were almost all benefits, so naturally there was no reason to refuse.
With Han Xiao's permission, the players immediately dispersed in a hubbub, going to take on daily employment. With such a group of helpers, Han Xiao himself could free up his hands to do other things, without wasting time doing daily missions. He went straight back to the resting room, preparing to further improve the plan.
A few hours later, Li Ge and his party returned to the resting room. They had been wandering outside for a few hours. Li Ge was thinking that since he had come to space, he had to seize the time to trigger missions. There were so many people in the Hub Hall, he thought there would be many missions to trigger, but he found that most of the people here were passing travelers. When they expressed their desire to provide assistance, 80% of the people would laugh at them for not going to the Mercenary Alliance.
Although they didn't get any missions, Li Ge and others learned new information. They asked for directions to find the Mercenary Alliance, and after working for half a day, they finally registered for mercenary qualifications. Seeing a series of mission lists, they were overjoyed and felt that they had found the correct way to accept missions in space.
Li Ge was even more convinced that acting alone was the right thing to do, leading the other players.
The few people chatted as they entered the door.
"This time we have the advantage. Should we tell the others about the mercenary qualifications?"
Li Ge shook his head. "This is an opportunity we discovered. Everyone is a competitor, so there's no need to actively remind them."
"Then if they ask, do we have to keep it a secret?"
Li Ge thought for a while, his face a little troubled. If others asked and he deliberately concealed it, such behavior would easily offend people. Just as he was hesitating, the few people opened the door, only to find that there were no players in the resting room.
"Eh, where did they all go?" a Temple player wondered.
"I don't know." Li Ge was delighted and secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, no one was around, so he didn't have to struggle with others asking.
