Chi Yue, startled, turned around to see Fu Rongyin walking forward at a leisurely pace.
His face was expressionless, his eyes slightly drooping to hide his emotions.
Chi Yue, feeling guilty for a moment, quickly regained her composure and said to Fu Xingchuan, "You don’t really want to help me, so there’s no need for us to continue this conversation."
Fu Xingchuan wanted to say something else, but Chi Yue didn’t give him the chance to speak and quickly walked back to her room.
Fu Xingchuan looked at Fu Rongyin with a half-smile, his gaze falling on a particular part of him, "What she meant just now was, you... can’t do it?"
A dark glint flashed across the clear depths of Fu Rongyin’s eyes, "If you can, then why don’t you go?"

He would have liked to, but he hadn’t even touched a finger of Chi Yue, his desires were there but he was powerless.
Yet, he didn’t concede verbally, "Of course I would, but only after you get the divorce certificate. After all, I can’t let her be accused of adultery within marriage."
Fu Rongyin leaned lazily on the sofa, his thin lips slowly curling into a smirk, "Then you just keep waiting."

Chi Yue was unaware of what the two men downstairs had discussed. By the time she went downstairs, Fu Rongyin had already left.
Fu Xingchuan sat there with his legs crossed, showing none of the demeanor expected of a wealthy second generation.
She ignored Fu Xingchuan and turned to leave.
The hospital had called earlier to say that Bai Dongyang was having a minor surgery that afternoon and needed family support. Only Bai Bixuan was there, and Chi Yue, worried Bai Bixuan couldn’t manage alone, decided to go over.
However, just as she got into her car, the passenger door was opened, and Fu Xingchuan sat in.
Chi Yue frowned, "What exactly do you want?"
