Chapter 1796: Elijah White Taken Prisoner?

Chapter 1796: Chapter 1796: Elijah White Taken Prisoner?

Coleson James’s expression was somewhat hesitant.

If Carson Flores were just an ordinary disciple of the White Crane Immortal Sect, he certainly wouldn’t have said much, but Carson is Bank Austin’s disciple, holding a special status, and it’s hard not to say anything.

Carson Flores said in a deep voice, "Fellow Zhao, no matter what situation he has encountered, please be clear. Brother Elijah is like a brother to me and is very important to me."

Coleson James sighed: "Recently, our Hundred Tribulations Gate and the Azure Dragon Clan disputed over a Spirit Vein resource, and we battled over it. Because we weren’t adequately prepared, we were defeated. Several experts died, and some were captured, Elijah White was one of those captured."

Carson Flores’s eyes widened: "Captured by the Azure Dragon Clan?"

Coleson James nodded: "Yes, currently, our Sect is negotiating with the Azure Dragon Clan, trying to find a way to rescue these disciples. If the negotiations go well, we can rescue them soon."

Carson Flores frowned and asked, "What if the negotiations don’t go well?"

Coleson James frowned, not answering Carson’s question directly, only saying, "The Sect will not abandon any disciple and will do everything possible to rescue them."

Carson Flores understood.

The Sect will do its best to rescue, but the outcome is not guaranteed.

If negotiations go smoothly, these disciples can return, but if they don’t, they might not come back.

Carson didn’t complain about anything. Since Elijah White joined the Hundred Tribulations Gate, he became a disciple of the Hundred Tribulations Gate, and it’s natural to fight for the Sect. If he’s not strong enough and gets captured, that can’t be helped.

The most important thing now is figuring out how to rescue these people.

The first thing that came to Carson’s mind was his identity as an Immortal Palace Envoy, but then he smiled bitterly inside.

The Dragon Clan lives on their own turf and hasn’t given any regard to the Celestial Palace. The Dragon Spirit Continent is in perpetual chaos, with the Dragon Clan being fierce and uncompromising fighters. The identity of an Immortal Palace Envoy isn’t very useful here.

The second thing Carson thought of was the Black Dragon King, but the conflict with the Hundred Tribulations Gate over the Spirit Vein was with the Azure Dragon Clan, not the Black Dragon Clan. Though the Black Dragon King is powerful, he might have no say over the Azure Dragon Clan.

If the Black Dragon King asked the Azure Dragon Clan for a favor to release Elijah White, it might still be feasible, but wouldn’t that mean the Black Dragon King owes the Azure Dragon Clan a favor?

There is internal strife and comparison within the Dragon Clan, and the Black Dragon King has no connection with him, so why would he lower his head for him?

If it were him in trouble, maybe the Black Dragon King would consider Alfred Weaver’s friendship and help, but for his brother, with that layer in between, he certainly wouldn’t be willing.

It’s difficult!

While thinking of solutions, Carson again revealed his new identity: "Fellow Zhao, I am currently at the Celestial Palace, serving as the Immortal Palace Envoy. Could this identity aid in their rescue?"

Immortal Palace Envoy?

Coleson James was quite surprised. If the identity of Bank Austin’s disciple earned him a bit more respect, the identity of an Immortal Palace Envoy was worthy of a formal reception.

The Celestial Palace is presently at war with the Heavenly Alliance, having wiped out more than ten Heavenly Immortals, and hundreds of Golden Immortals and True Immortals from the Southern Alliance in one battle. This is quite shocking.

Everyone realizes that even though the one overseeing the Celestial Palace now isn’t the formidable Nico Weaver, but his daughter Cristopher Hopkins, the Celestial Palace still possesses the terrifying power to suppress any Sect.

Even if one internally dislikes the Celestial Palace or doesn’t want to obey its commands, enough respect must still be maintained for the Celestial Palace, otherwise, it might invite great disaster!

Carson Flores displayed his Token, proving his identity as an Immortal Palace Envoy.

Coleson James’s demeanor instantly became much more respectful, again bowing in greeting: "So it’s Envoy Flores. I was discourteous earlier, please forgive me!"

Carson Flores smiled and said, "Fellow Zhao, no need to be so polite. I originally just planned to visit an old friend; who knew this would happen, so I hope to safely rescue them. If possible, I want to know more about the situation and hope to be involved in the upcoming rescue operation."

Carson presented his identity as an Immortal Palace Envoy, clearly intending to increase his weight, putting pressure on the Hundred Tribulations Gate to try every means to rescue Elijah White and not easily give up on him.

For many Sects, abandoning some not very important disciples for great benefit is a very normal thing, not every Sect has such harmonious relationships as the master and disciples of Nutwood Mountain.

Coleson James nodded: "That is of course no problem, Envoy Flores, please wait a moment. I will now invite Elder Vincenzo Reid, who is responsible for this matter, over to introduce this issue to you personally."

Carson Flores smiled and said, "Then I’ll trouble Fellow Zhao!"

Coleson James politely said, "Envoy Flores, you’re too kind. This is what we should do."

Soon, a white-haired elder with the demeanor of an immortal came to stand in front of Carson Flores, bowing in greeting, his tone courteous and respectful: "Vincenzo Reid, Elder of the Hundred Tribulations Gate, greets Envoy Flores!"

Carson Flores bowed in return: "Elder Reid, you’re too kind. I’ve come uninvited; I hope I’m not disturbing you."

Vincenzo Reid stepped aside: "Envoy Flores, this place isn’t suitable for conversation, please follow me!"
