Chapter 3427: Path to Success
Rui had made up his mind on what he needed to do before heading for Kiriket Continent.
He needed to help Amare grow stronger and consolidate her strength on the way to Kiriket so that her probability of survival. He also needed to create anti-Shenlong techniques with the Forge of Creation, with the intelligence that he had gotten from the Whisperer and the data that he himself had collected from the Dragon Emperor.
He also intended to use the Eye of Prophecy to understand how the battle could unfold and what the futures were where he would lose the battle, and understand the conditions that he needed to satisfy to draw out a victory.
His approach was him at his very strongest. Rui was strong even normally, but when he prepared for an opponent specifically, his effective combat power rose greatly, making him even stronger than normal against that one opponent.
He approached the battle with serious humility, caution, and a plan.
As for the actual battle with the Dragon Emperor and his plan to destroy the War Coalition, that was a bit more complicated.
"I need to meet up with the Harmonist Faction of the Pasupati Clans of Kiriket," Rui mused thoughtfully. "Specifically, I need to meet up with Lord Vakratunda of the Gajanan Clan."
The therianthrope that was the head of the Harmonist Faction.
Said to be the most powerful being on the continent after Lord Shenlong.
He would need this man’s cooperation if he were to defeat the War Coalition in Kiriket Continent. While Rui ambushed Lord Shenlong and tried to separate him from the War Coalition, he needed somebody to hold back the War Coalition; otherwise, they would simply rush after Lord Shenlong and gang up on Rui before he could kill the damned dragon.
Someone needed to hold back their rampage.
"Mother Vyia said that he was an extremely wise man," Rui remarked thoughtfully. "I hope she is right. If he doesn’t agree to help me, then I have absolutely nothing left except for waging war with the therianthropes with the Martial Artists of Panama."
That was exactly the thing that he really wanted to avoid.
The whole goal was to avoid war with Kiriket.
He needed to figure out how to sell his plan to Lord Vakratunda.
"However, with the Dragon Emperor aware that I’m in the Hlakaschken Trade Empire, getting to Kiriket Continent unnoticed is going to be extremely difficult," Rui tutted inwardly. "I wouldn’t be surprised if he is spying on me at the very moment."
He had a powerful vision that allowed him to behold the entire world, from everything that Rui had ever seen.
It wasn’t just powerful senses.
It was clairvoyance.
He was a monster among monsters.
"I’ll have to teleport away from this island and go underwater to throw him off." Rui huffed. "Then, we will have to complete a highly stealthy journey to Kiriket. Most likely relying on both stealth and disguise."
The closer they got to Kiriket, the greater the risk of getting caught.
"Might as well teach Amare some high principles on stealth as well."
STEP
He arrived before his room, opening the door as he found himself gazing at a sleeping Amare. She had completely passed out, recovering from the after-effects of the Realms of power.
’Might as well work on the anti-Shenlong techniques while she’s asleep. I will be busy with her training.’ He sat cross-legged on the floor, entering a state of deep concentration.
He didn’t have too much experience with gamma radiation specifically as a high principle, but he did have pretty good experience with electromagnetic radiation in general. He quickly activated his Realms of Power before activating the Forge of Creation.
He activated Prophecy of the Void, relying on the preliminary VOID algorithm predictive model that he had already prepared before a myriad of futures unfolded in his mind.
In his mind, he found himself face to face with the mighty Dragon Emperor.
His aura came to life.
A reddish corrosion that spread from his body, consuming the entire world. It was no more than a visual trick caused by the scattering of red light instead of blue due to certain complex electromagnetic dynamics, yet it sent chills across Rui’s skin nonetheless.
A flood of gamma radiation assaulted Rui’s body as he began testing a series of actions that constituted randomly generated techniques to see what worked and what didn’t.
He took his time, thoroughly exploring every single possibility with a variety of principles including destructive interference, using his exotic pluripotent matter to convert into substances that could highly resist gamma radiation, as well as space manipulation and gravity that allowed him to red shift incoming radiation and turn them more benign and easier to defend against with longer wavelengths that couldn’t damage cells the way that gamma radiation did.
He came up with several gravitational redirection and red-shifting techniques, along with some energy absorption techniques that converted gamma radiation into electrical energy that Rui could use for his techniques.
He also had some novel domain techniques that were perfectly suited for the Dragon Emperor based on the Tree of Life.
When it came to the dynamics of the broader battle, Rui had already seen that even harming the Dragon Emperor was almost impossible. Even Amare, who nominally had far greater physical output than even Rui, struggled to harm him through his scaled armor, barely cracking a single scale of a special radioactive isotope of invintium that was known to be even stronger, even if inhospitably toxic and radioactive, unleashing unfathomable amounts of energy each second that the Dragon Emperor absorbed.
Rui spent seven hours straight developing a whole alternate Martial Art for the sole sake of defeating the Dragon Emperor with a perfectly antithetical Martial Art, maximizing his antitheticality to whatever extent he possibly could for the sole sake of ensuring that nothing could prevent Rui from winning.
It had been a long time since he prepared for an opponent to such an extent for the sole sake of defeating him, reminding Rui of the thrill of fighting such opponents.
