Chapter 198 The Final Moment

Chapter 16 Titan Zombies

When the Titan zombies approached, the others finally stopped communicating and rushed towards the Titan zombies closest to them. They unleashed all kinds of abilities, determined to quickly eliminate these Titan zombies.

Although Titan zombies didn't have any special skills, they were thick-skinned, incredibly strong, and had a size advantage. A single slap could flatten a person.

Fortunately, everyone who had survived in this dungeon until now was exceptional. Each possessed unique skills, and dealing with these mindless zombies wasn't too difficult, although it might waste one or two opportunities to use skills.

As the Titan zombies fell one after another, the crystal energy in the center continued to accumulate. When Lin En looked over, it had already reached 90%. Soon the energy would be full, and another energy shockwave would appear, clearing all the Titan zombies.

What Lin En, who was staring at the crystal, didn't know was that after seeing all the Titan zombies disappear, the six Lai Fu looked around, found no enemies, and returned, disappearing on the spot.

Although he didn't know if anyone else had noticed, Lin En could clearly see that the crystal was covered in cracks. It looked like it would explode if another energy wave erupted.

He checked the time and saw that it was only a little past nine o'clock. There were still more than ten hours left. He felt like quite a few people were going to kick the bucket.

Watching the people starting to rest, Lin En also wanted to take a break. Coincidentally, one of the six summoned Lai Fu seemed to have very nice fur, perfect for lying on.

Lin En turned around, intending to recall Lai Fu, but the space in front of him was completely empty. Not a Lai Fu in sight, not even a hair.

Lin En: ヾ(´・・`。)ノ He looked left and right, but they were nowhere to be found. What the heck? Where did his Lai Fu go? Was he being speechless? Couldn't they have asked him? Why did they run so fast?

Without comfortable fur, Lin En had no choice but to lie on the cold city wall. Luckily, no zombies had ever rushed up here, and it was very clean.

Lying on the city wall, Lin En slowly waited for the rest period to pass. Soon, the ten-minute break was over, and the rumbling sound rang out again. Titan zombies appeared before everyone once more, and in even greater numbers.

Seeing the large number of Titan zombies, the crowd looked deathly pale, each radiating an aura of despair.

As the rumbling grew louder, the giant Titan zombies approached. Everyone took out their weapons and charged towards the Titan zombies, still having one or two chances to use their skills. Now, all they needed to do was survive to the end. It was only a little over ten hours; they just had to hold on.

...

Seeing the giant palm coming towards him, Lin En easily dodged it. Then, he took out the Wings of the Sky and quickly ran up the arm, then sliced off the Titan zombie's head with a single sword strike.

As the Titan zombie's body was about to fall, he lightly leaped and jumped directly onto the shoulder of another Titan zombie, delivering another sword strike. He repeated this several times, and then Lin En realized that there were no more Titan zombies around him.

That shouldn't be, Lin En thought, feeling puzzled. Then, Lin En realized that no new Titan zombies were appearing behind them. He looked at the remaining number of Titan zombies and found that there were about three hundred left, and the number was still decreasing.

The Titan zombies' attack pattern was too simple. Once it was figured out, they were easily killed. However, out of 100 people, more than twenty had still kicked the bucket, especially those at the eighth tier.

Time slowly passed. When there were only seventy-odd Titan zombies left, the remaining people began to leisurely circle the Titan zombies, because someone had discovered the cracks in the crystal and told everyone. Then, when the crystal energy reached 90%, they stopped, saving it just in case.

As time passed, finally, the last night descended. The eyes of the Titan zombies immediately turned blood red, and their attack speed increased a lot.

Having been prepared for this, the crowd easily dodged and continued to circle.

Another hour passed, and new zombies appeared. This time, not only Titan zombies appeared, but also the zombie beasts and small zombies that had appeared before, and their strength had been enhanced. A dense horde of corpses surged in from all directions.

The crowd immediately shook off the Titan zombies and quickly ran towards the city wall. After quickly discussing it, several ninth-tier experts came forward and used their skill once to clear out a patch of zombies, directly filling the crystal energy.

The crystal, filled with energy once again, erupted with an energy shockwave, clearing the field directly. Then, crackling sounds came from the crystal, and then it shattered in front of everyone's eyes.

There were still five hours left. The crowd began to discuss how to spend the next five hours.

Lin En didn't participate in their meeting. Instead, he took out some food, sat alone on the city wall, and slowly ate, watching the others discuss.

Somewhat disappointed, Lin En listened to ten minutes of nonsense and didn't hear anything useful. Who didn't know that they should try to survive and endure these few hours? He silently rolled his eyes.

Familiar hissing sounds came, and then Lin En saw Titan zombies holding giant zombie balls made up of zombie beasts and smaller zombies, smashing them over. Looking at the giant ball of zombies, he silently cursed, "Are you trying to disgust me to death?"

Lin En directly split the zombie ball flying towards him in half with a single sword strike. The zombie ball, split in half, slammed down hard.

The zombie balls from other directions also slammed down, destroying the city wall directly, and the zombie balls began to squirm. Then, the zombies that were still alive immediately charged towards the nearest living people.

Seeing the zombies and zombie beasts charging towards him, Lin En took his sword and began to hack and slash wildly, clearing out a patch of empty space in an instant. However, the next second it was filled with zombies again.

Fortunately, these dead zombies would disappear directly, otherwise they would have piled up into a mountain of corpses.

In the next few hours, the crowd could only desperately fight in the zombie horde. Because there were too many zombies, everyone's speed was very slow. They couldn't move at all without hacking down the zombies in front of them.

But with the addition of Titan zombies, many people were slapped to death in a short period of time.

Hearing the screams from elsewhere, Lin En didn't pay attention at all. Instead, after a Titan zombie slapped down, he ran up its arm again, and then repeatedly jumped on the Titan zombie's shoulders.

In the following time, Lin En spent it repeatedly jumping, then took out an egg and used his last chance to use a skill.

Instantly, three ninth-tier peak Lai Fu appeared, and Lin En jumped from the Titan zombie's shoulder onto the head of one of the Lai Fu.
