Anton noticed while they were idling about in the salon overlooking the beautiful garden that some of the girls were looking at him with calf eyes. In his opinion, it was understandable that the girls would have a crush on him. He was young, good-looking, and sang like an angel, but he wasn’t interested in little girls.
The most beautiful of them were the elves, and they were just children. Besides, no ordinary girls could compare to the girls in the Angels Palace. Angeline alone surpassed every little girl in the salon due to her allure and the ability to convey innocence, even though she was already 24 years old, according to Torbin. He knew that the ladies in Angels Palace were great actresses, since it was their job to seduce men, but Anton was young enough that he didn’t care about any of that. His current goal was to taste everyone there.
Anton had visited the Angels Palace twice after his first time with Angeline, and he was accompanied by two other women. He remembered vowing that after his father arrived, he would strive to visit only once every month. He had to admit that he was a little worried that he was becoming a little pervert. After he was done singing the song, as expected, Anna boasted to the others that the song was from an animated film that she had already seen, and she started telling the story haphazardly.
Because the girls were getting confused about the film by the way Anna told it, she immediately suggested that they watch it. With a sigh, Anton agreed, and they all returned to the theater room. Anton was a little surprised that Supreme Munetta was indulging her students, so he asked her while they were walking to the theater room.
“This is supposed to be their vacation, and I don’t want to mar their enjoyment for today by being strict,” Supreme Munetta said with a smile.
While they were watching the animated film, The Last Unicorn, he wondered if there were unicorns in this world. He hadn’t seen or even heard of them. After the movie ended, it was Anna who asked if there were unicorns, and it was Elianah who answered, saying that there were in the lands of the elves.
With glittering eyes, Anna asked how she could visit elven lands, and Elianah smiled and answered that she would need to be invited by one of the elven nobility and carry a token from them so the ships that regularly went in and out of their lands would accept her. The information excited Anna, but it also excited Anton. He also wanted to go to the land of the elves and see the beauty of their nation.
After watching the film, the girls decided to go to the garden to explore the different flowers that grow there. They were followed by one of the gardeners who wanted to supervise them. The gardeners basically wanted to make sure that no one would mess up the gardens. If the girls wanted flowers, they would need to ask the gardener to cut them for them.
At first, Anton thought that Anna would throw a tantrum since the garden was their family’s, but she only sighed after a few seconds and said that they would comply with the gardener’s requests.
Anton was a little impressed at the gardener’s courage in facing the sister of the owner of the manor, making sure that the garden would be protected. He discreetly told Ronia to tell Raymond to commend the gardeners.
Supreme Munetta and Elianah followed the girls, saying they wanted to see the garden up close as well, while Anton went to his room to catch up on his web novel that he had been reading. He really liked the one that he was reading at the moment, which was the Blach Tech Internet Café System. He truly had fallen in love with the characters there.
When the sun had set, Raymond came knocking to inform him that dinner was ready and that everyone was already in the dining room, so he followed the butler.
Dinner was a noisy affair. The girls kept talking about anything and everything under the sun while they were eating. They talked about films, magic, accessories, clothes, shoes, boys, everything. Apparently, the girls also decided to do a sleepover in one of the rooms instead of sleeping in the rooms assigned to them, and they had all decided that Laloniah, Mierin, and Selanor to join them. Elianah looked at Anton with an apologetic expression, but since Anna had already decided, Anton just accepted it.
After dinner, Anna asked Anton if they could watch another movie, but Anton said that there was a chance that their father would arrive the next day, so they should rest early. Anna just rolled her eyes at him and left him to his devices. With the rate that the girls were going on, he was sure that all of them would probably sleep very late, but he just sighed and left to go to his room.
The next day, Anton was informed by Raymond that everyone was in the salon waiting for him for breakfast, so after freshening up, he joined them. Breakfast was delicious. The repast that Mr. Noria cooked for them was a sight to behold.
While they were eating, a tiny raven arrived carrying a letter in its tiny feet. The tiny raven came from one of the summoning tablets that he had made, and only his father had one aside from Anna. He knew then his father had arrived in Ormunda, and the letter confirmed it.
Anton immediately asked Raymond, Ronia, and Torbin to go to the gates to welcome his father. He advised them that they would probably need to hire carriages. Raymond assured him that he knew what needed to be done.
After the butler and some of Anton’s people left to receive Anders, Anton and Anna excitedly waited for their father. Everyone excused themselves to give the siblings their privacy. Anna’s classmates and her new friends, including Supreme Munetta and Elianah, went to the garden to view the flowers up close again. Of course, they were followed by some of the maids that Ronia assigned to them to assist them in everything they would need.
