Chapter 563
Anton wasn’t surprised when Anders said that he would be coming to the dungeon delving field trip as well, together with his vice captains, Daniel and Ingrid. Since he would be protecting Anna and her classmates, it would not be too much to extend that protection to his father and his two vice-captains.
“We want to learn what the 1st floor of a high-level dungeon looked like,” Anders said.
Anton just shrugged and said that it was no problem. If he was being honest, Anton didn’t know the difficulty level of the 1st floor of the Corridors of Amuneta Dungeon. Was it more difficult than, let’s say, the 50th floor of the beginner dungeon?
He then wondered what the mechanic was doing in delving into the high-level dungeon. Anton thought that Elianah was the best person to answer that, so he planned to ask her once he arrived later that night for the next film in the Harry Potter series.
Anton then told everyone, but surprisingly, Supreme Munetta had information about that particular topic.
“Normally, this kind of plan will not be allowed by the Adventurer Groups. Only Adventurers with high ranks, such as yourself, will be allowed to delve a high-level dungeon. Since your father and his vice-captains had no rank yet, if I assume correctly, they would only be allowed to delve into the beginner dungeon. Now, as a high-level adventurer, you are allowed to bring a lower-ranked adventurer with you, but there is a limit. But this field trip will be conducted by a magic academy, and you will have four Supreme Wizards in the group, so the Adventurer will allow us to do this.”
Luna and Alfred, who were sitting quietly, suddenly excitedly said that they wanted to come as well. Anton could see that his father was grateful when it was Supreme Munetta who told them that those who are not mages or warriors would not be allowed to join in.
“But Anton can protect us!” Alfred whined.
Supreme Munetta just looked sternly at the boy and said that rules should be followed, and that ended that topic.
The field trip would be held after all the Harry Potter films were seen. It would take six more days to complete the franchise, so they would be going to the dungeon the day after.
That night, Anton sighed when the number of moviegoers increased. Thankfully, the four Supreme Wizards said that movie repeats would not be allowed anymore since there was a scheduled field trip on six days. Everyone excitedly watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and as usual, once the movie ended, people stayed to chat about the film.
The wizards discussed the magic they saw in the films. The young people talked about the lives of the characters, and the adventurers talked about the rest.
Anton thanked his father and went to his room to rest.
The next day, during breakfast, Raymond told Anton that everyone had left the manor late last night. Everyone was happy talking to each other about the film, and they were also excited to see the next movie tonight.
The butler also reported that Anders told everyone that there would be a memorial for the family and friends they had lost at sea, and it would be held in three days. A memorial tablet would be placed in the garden where the memorial would be held, and the names of the lost ones would be written on the tablet.
Even though Anton thought that the memorial was a needed event to feel some sort of closure, he felt sad that day and told Raymond that he did not want to be disturbed and would be staying in his room.
Thankfully, everyone left him alone. Anton entered his Diablo II system to read web novels, watch movies, and television shows. Now and again, he would cast the Blizzard spell that was converted into Mana Rain towards the garden.
During noon, for lunch, Raymond knocked and informed him that Anna was asking if he could join them in one of the manor’s seating rooms, but Anton declined. He knew that he was behaving like a moody teenager, but he couldn’t help himself.
Anton did join them for dinner and watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with them. The audience increased again, but Anton just internally shrugged.
Anders did ask him what happened to him that day, and Anton just told his father that he just felt sad and wanted to rest.
The next day, during breakfast, Raymond told Anton that their family was getting famous in their neighborhood because of the movies. Apparently, everyone who thought of themselves as someone in their neighborhood was angling to receive an invitation from their family to join the movie-watching events. Anton just shrugged and ignored that information.
Raymond also informed him that his father was requiring his presence in his office after breakfast. Anton was sure that Anders wouldn’t let him continue stewing in his own juices in his room.
During the meeting in Anders’s office, Bruce and Susan said that the fruit orchard was ready to be rained on by mana water that afternoon, so Anton promised them that he would cast the spell there. Romina reopened the topic of having the cinema as a business, but Anders said that they wouldn’t do so for now, but maybe in the future.
Their neighbors' interest in being invited was some sort of catalyst that informed Romina that the cinema business was something that could earn the family a huge amount of wealth. Anton and his father already knew that. The three of them weren’t ready yet to enter that business again because of the tragedy that happened at sea, and right now, coins could be made by delving into the dungeons.
That night, Anton wasn’t surprised that the audience for watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix increased again. Romina, Bruce, and Susan invited some people, with Anders’s approval, whom they thought would help them grow their businesses or improve the family’s network.
The funny part was that the movie-watching event was beginning to become a hidden, exclusive event for the wealthy people in their area, and it had become something to boast about if one managed to attend the exclusive movie-watching event. The fact that there were Supreme Wizards watching the movies was also talked about.
Anna and her classmates, and Laloniah and her friends started strutting around in Ormunda’s shopping centers and cafes, boasting about the movies. At least that was what Raymond told him, and it made him laugh.
