Chapter 1 Desperate Pursuit

Inside the experimental hangar, Qiancheng Xue desperately pursued the Dark Apostle in her Steel Golem. The Dark Apostle was heading toward the breached gap at an extremely fast speed.

Iron Guards mechs, upon receiving the order to intercept, knew they were facing certain death, yet they resolutely charged towards the Dark Apostle without hesitation.

Inside their cockpits, their faces were filled with determination. This was their duty as soldiers, and their honor.

The leading captain roared, "Stop it! No one is allowed to retreat!"

One Iron Guard mech after another raised their close-range rifles and fired frantically. Shell casings ejected everywhere, creating an incredibly fierce barrage.

Unfortunately, the rain of bullets merely created ripples on the At field, like raindrops falling on a pond, with no other effect.

The IV-generation bio-mech, Dark Apostle, crushed everything in its path.

The Iron Guards mechs blocking its way were like toy soldiers. They were either crushed or sent flying by brute force, crashing heavily onto the ground, breaking into pieces.

One could see how devastating the Dark Apostle's destructive power was.

Qiancheng Xue bit her lip as she watched this scene, exerting all her strength to control the Steel Golem to open its mouth and fire a Pollock beam.

Unfortunately, the beam was still blocked by the Dark Apostle's At field.
