“Hello, my name is Chen Yiming, and I’m here for the interview today.”
Chen Xuan extended his hand politely.
However, Xu Ya and Pan Meili didn’t even glance at him, let alone return the handshake. Seeing this, Xu Ya chuckled.

Chen Xuan stated calmly, “My name is Chen Yiming. I graduated from Harvard University with a Master’s degree in Finance. I previously worked at Lis Group abroad for two years as a venture capital investor and financial consultant. I returned to China a year ago and, upon hearing that your company was hiring, I came to apply for a position here.”
Chen Xuan’s academic background shocked everyone present.
Among the interviewees, foreign university graduates were not uncommon, but they were often from less reputable institutions with little academic standing. Someone graduating from Harvard University was absolutely unprecedented.
Furthermore, Chen Xuan held a Master’s degree in Finance from Harvard, which completely overshadowed the previous interviewees.
They had expected the quality of interviewees to decline in the later stages, but they hadn’t anticipated someone like this appearing.
Everyone was stunned, except for Xu Ya, who frowned and sized up Chen Xuan.
“You said you graduated from Harvard University with a major in Finance?” Bai Ling asked, surprised.
“Yes.”
Chen Xuan nodded without changing his expression.
Of course, this was all fabricated. His academic qualifications were faked by the Dragon Soul team using their connections. However, it seemed the qualifications were too well-made, and foreign diplomas were harder to verify.

I think the Public Relations Department is a good fit, as it fosters communication between people. Chen Xuan’s answer left Xu Ya speechless.
“So, you have unique insights into public relations?” Pan Meili also inquired.
“Not exactly unique insights, just some immature suggestions. If I am accepted into the Public Relations Department of Huang Hai Group, I believe everyone here will see them,” Chen Xuan’s response remained flawless.

Pan Meili’s gaze towards Chen Xuan was not friendly, with a hint of coldness mixed in.
“All the questions have been asked. Let’s vote on whether Mr. Chen can proceed to the next round of interviews,” Bai Ling said with a radiant smile.
With her concerned look, Chen Xuan felt that Bai Ling would definitely agree to let him advance. He was also eighty percent sure about Xu Ya. The only uncertainty was Pan Meili; she was probably instructed by Pan Ping to get rid of him.
“I agree!” Bai Ling said, her eyes darting about lively. “Mr. Chen’s qualifications are superior to all the previous interviewees.”
This was within Chen Xuan’s expectations.
Bai Ling then looked at Xu Ya. “Secretary Xu, what do you think?”
Xu Ya’s face was stern, and she shook her head. “I disagree.”
Disagree?
This surprised not only Chen Xuan but also Bai Ling.
This was troublesome. If Xu Ya disagreed, and Pan Meili also disagreed, wouldn’t he be eliminated? Wouldn’t that mean the mission had failed before it even began?
Chen Xuan suddenly felt as if the sky was collapsing.
“Why, Miss Xu?” Bai Ling seemed to want to advocate for Chen Xuan.
“I believe that with Mr. Chen’s high academic qualifications, his application to our Huang Hai Group’s Public Relations Department is clearly driven by ulterior motives.”

Xu Ya did not offer further explanation.
“Vice Minister Pan, what are your thoughts?”

“I hope you have such good luck next time,” Xu Ya said coldly, displaying a significant animosity towards Chen Xuan.
This woman was so fierce; perhaps she wasn’t interested in men at all?
