Inside the hall of the Zhou family villa.
Zhou Changping, dressed in a bathrobe, sat on the sofa with his legs crossed, a cup of fragrant tea placed before him.
His brow, however, was knitted into a frown.
He had initially thought that Chen Xuan's exceptional skills displayed at the banquet would have given him more leverage in the Su family's pursuit of a son-in-law. However, he hadn't expected the Su family to directly choose a son-in-law for Su Yunxi, and an into-the-family marriage at that.
