"There's nothing to consider!" Jiang Meili waved her hand. "The person I want to marry is not some rich and powerful figure, but someone who truly understands me. Those prodigal sons don't even catch my eye!"
"I always thought you had high standards, Sister Jiang, and now I see I wasn't mistaken!" Lin Ke smiled. "Thank you, Sister Jiang, for helping me with this. I've been waiting a long time for this contract!"

Sister Jiang shrugged her shoulders. "Shall I give you a tour of the Zhao Corporation? It's quite large, and with Qingyun Group cooperating with Zhao's, you'll surely reach a higher level in the future."

Inside the company, many people were discussing it, mostly watching the spectacle. This was the Young Master of the prestigious Zhao family, and no one dared to offend him. However, within the company, many women were envious.
To be favored by Young Master Zhao meant ascending to the heavens and becoming a phoenix. This was a great honor for them, but unfortunately, Young Master Zhao hadn't chosen them.

"The company is my family's, why worry." Young Master Zhao smirked. "As long as you agree to me, I will surely treat you well!"
"Wishful thinking. If you continue like this, I will go to the Chairman!" Jiang Meili said with a cold face.
"My father is on a business trip. I'm fully in charge of the company now!" Young Master Zhao shrugged. "So you can't do anything to me."
Jiang Meili's face turned ashen. She had never encountered such a scoundrel.
"Since ancient times, there has been the saying of mutual love. If someone is unwilling, why force it!" Lu Fan interjected.
"Who are you!" Young Master Zhao glanced over. "How dare you cause trouble here!"
"I'm his friend!" Lu Fan shrugged. "Is there a problem?"
"No one in the entire Dragon City dares to speak to me like this!"
Young Master Zhao's expression was cold. The men beside him immediately stepped forward, appearing to move against Lu Fan.
However, Jiang Meili stepped out. "Young Master Zhao, what are you doing? Are you planning to fight outside the Zhao Corporation? If this gets out, it will harm the Zhao Corporation's reputation!"
"Stop with the nonsense. If you refuse to accept my pursuit, you're not qualified to speak to me here!" Young Master Zhao said coldly. "Step aside!"
Jiang Meili frowned. The reason Lu Fan spoke up was for her sake. If Lu Fan got into trouble, she would bear significant responsibility.
"You've got some backbone, boy. Do you know who I am?"
Young Master Zhao said coldly. "Within Dragon City, no one dares to offend me, or they'll regret it! You think you can compete with me for a woman? What do you think you are!"

Young Master Zhao's expression turned displeased. Several more men appeared and moved towards Lu Fan. To be so arrogant on Zhao Corporation's territory, if he didn't teach Lu Fan a lesson, where would his reputation as Young Master Zhao go.

As soon as he finished speaking, several men moved towards Lu Fan, their fists fierce.
Seeing the situation turning bad, Jiang Meili also stepped forward. With a swift kick, she sent one of the men flying and shielded Lu Fan behind her.
The other men attacked simultaneously, but Jiang Meili easily neutralized them.
A round of applause erupted from numerous floors of the Zhao Corporation. Jiang Meili's movements were fluid and skillful, like a martial artist.
Lu Fan stood behind her, unfazed, as if he already knew Jiang Meili was a fighter.
"Jiang Meili, are you helping an outsider?" Young Master Zhao said coldly. "Don't forget, you are an employee of my Zhao Corporation!"
"I do work here, but I haven't signed a contract of servitude!" Jiang Meili said coldly. "The Zhao family doesn't have the power of life and death over me!"
"Well said!" Young Master Zhao said coldly. "Then you all just wait. I'll make you pay!"
Young Master Zhao turned and left, filled with rage.
Jiang Meili looked at Lu Fan. "Are you alright!"
"I'm a grown man, what could happen to me!" Lu Fan waved his hand. "However, with this, it might be difficult for you to stay at the Zhao Corporation."
"That's not necessarily true. Young Master Zhao is unbearable, but the Chairman is reasonable!" Jiang Meili said directly. "So I'm not afraid of him at all!"
"I see!" Lu Fan nodded slightly.
Lin Ke appeared at this moment. "So he's the Young Master Zhao of the Zhao Corporation. I saw him in the private room that day!"
