“How is it? Can I go in now?” Lin Ke asked quickly.
“If I hadn’t spoken highly of you, you wouldn’t have this chance,” the bodyguard said with certainty. “You can go in now! When you’re successful in the future, don’t forget me!”
Lin Ke didn’t say much and turned to enter.
Young Master Xia’s gaze sharpened as he saw her, and he immediately became serious. Lin Ke’s beauty stirred something within him, even making him want to repent and become a truly good person.
“Miss, may I ask what brings you here?” Young Master Xia asked with a smile. “We don’t seem to know each other.”
