Chapter 99 99: Professor Shagufta

During the lunch break after booking a appointment at the Porsche Showroom, Alex clocked out from his today's work and took a taxi to the Porsche dealership as soon as possible.

The traffic in Mumbai is insane, it took him nearly 3 hours to reach the nearest showroom through the taxi.

Sitting in the taxi he become so bored that he couldn't help but open the phone and play some games for a while.

And as soon as he reached and entered the showroom, a young saleswoman in her early twenties with a polite smile came up to greet him.

She began introducing the cars on display while the showroom provided tea and even offered free lunch to customers.

After walking around for a bit, Alex stopped in front of a black Porsche Panamera exclusive extended version and said casually, "For the configuration, I don't feel like choosing—just give me the full options."

He choose a sedan instead of a SUV, compared with SUVs, he preferred sedans because he always felt that was the proper form of a car.

Meanwhile SUVs seemed bulky, with large space that he didn't really need for use.

The saleswoman froze for a second and confirmed again as if unable to believe her ears, "Sir, do you really mean full configuration?

I just calculated it for you, and with all the features maxed out, plus the purchase tax and the luxury tax currently, the total is going to amount to 4.8 million.

Do you need me to arrange a loan service for you too?" She had never expected the man in front of her to be so decisive, directly picking the top version of the Panamera without hesitation.

"There's no need for a loan, just swipe the card, full payment," Alex said calmly as he pulled a bank card from his pocket.

The saleswoman's eyes widened and her face showed surprise and delight, she couldn't help but get excited after all she would be getting 1% of the total this customer is going to purchase but she quickly composed herself.

She took the card with both hands which are trembling in delight, and replied politely, "Okay, I'll get the paperwork ready right away, Sir."

The rest of the process went quickly.

Signed the contract.

Swiping the card at the counter.

Buying the insurance.

Choosing the license plate number, and getting a temporary license all finished within an hour.

And soon Alex was driving the brand new Panamera out of the showroom.

Before he left, the saleswoman quietly pushed her personal WhatsApp contact toward him, but Alex refused it without hesitation.

After being rejected, the saleswoman could only smile awkwardly and wave at the door.

Sighing to herself that it was a pity since she had assumed this handsome and decisive buyer must be a rich second generation, yet he clearly wasn't interested in her at all.

After leaving the Porsche showroom, Alex decided to head over to an Italian restaurant in South Mumbai for dinner.

This restaurant was located near Mumbai University.

And when Alex was a student, he often came here with his friends to hang out.

The cuisine is very good, pasta and pizza that tasted authentic enough to remind people of Rome.

He hadn't been here in years, and tonight he suddenly felt nostalgic and wanted to relive those old memories.

After parking his new Panamera outside, he walked in through the front door, but just as he stepped inside, he spotted someone familiar in the restaurant.

It was Professor Shagufta.

She was his university course coordinator for four years of his batch.

She was a type of woman who was known for being capable, enthusiastic, cheerful, and with strong professional skills that made her respected on campus by all both teachers and the students alike.

Seeing him from far Professor Shagufta immediately came over in with quick steps and greeted him warmly.

"Alex?"

"I didn't expect to run into you here of all places, What a coincidence!"

She looked him up and down seriously with her eyes, and her gaze carried something unusual.

"What's wrong?" Alex asked, a little guarded by the gaze.

Professor Shagufta smiled and replied, "Nothing really, it's just that I have not seen you In a long while, seeing you now is like seeing a completely different person entirely.

You have changed completely over the ears , it is like your whole aura has changed since stepping into society and seeing the harshness of it.

Seriously I am telling you Alex If you had little of this kind of aura when you were in university, I might have even pursued you."

"Oh, come on now Ma'am don't joke about it, I am not that different from earlier."

Alex felt a little awkward at where conversation is going and didn't dare to respond casually but in his mind he is already complaining.

Ma'am , please don't joke like with my life.

You're over thirty, and if you start chasing me now, how am I supposed to handle that…

He quickly tried to divert the conversation: "But tell me, what exactly has changed about me?"

Professor Shagufta thought seriously and said, "You're still just as good-looking as before, No doubt about it after all you are one of the best of looking guy in your batch of students.

But your whole temperament is seem to different now. You carry yourself with much more confidence and maturity than when you were in college time.

It's the kind of presence that comes only from experience, and honestly, it's attractive even for me not to mention the girls of your age.

Even someone like me, who used to treat you nothing but a student earlier feels a little unsettled standing next to you now."

Alex: ".…"

He instantly felt that it was time to leave the place of right and wrong, because if this cheerful professor suddenly decided to make a move on him, things would get way too complicated to be resolved later.
