"Are you done eating? If so, let's go and see how Brother Liang is doing?" Guo Xuyang called out.
"I'm done. This ramen is still the most comforting, much better than drinking," Pi Xiaoqian said, patting his belly.
"I'm full too," Tong Xin said, wiping her mouth with a tissue.
"Should we head over? I wonder if they've eaten yet?" Guo Xuyang said, and then dialed Lü Liang's number.
"Brother Liang, what's for lunch?"
"Nothing. I'm full from being so angry with these guys." Lü Liang's angry voice came from the phone.
"What's wrong, Brother Liang? What happened?"
"It's nothing. If there's nothing else, I'm hanging up." Lü Liang hung up the phone.
Guo Xuyang stared at his phone, not quite comprehending.
He didn't know why Lü Liang was so furious.
"Let's go, we need to go see him quickly. I don't like the sound of Brother Liang's voice," Guo Xuyang said.
When the three of them arrived at Lü Liang's house, they found Jiang Qixin's brothers diligently cleaning.
The entire house reeked of alcohol, mixed with a nauseating odor.
It was no wonder Lü Liang was upset; his brand new home had been trashed beyond recognition by these people.
Guo Xuyang quickly rushed over and opened all the windows.
As the fresh air flowed in, Guo Xuyang finally felt a bit more comfortable.
"How did it get this way?"
"It's all your fault. Why did you have to bring out that liquor? Don't you know these guys will go crazy for it?" Lü Liang glared at him, annoyed.
"Brother Liang, you're like a dog biting a good Samaritan who doesn't appreciate the kindness. Is it a crime to offer you better liquor to save you face?"
"Look at the room, how are we going to get married tomorrow?" Lü Liang said irritably.
"Who knew you'd be so generous as to let the brothers stay in the new house? Couldn't you have put them up in a hotel?"
"These brothers finally made the trip, if I put them up in a hotel, wouldn't they resent me?"
"You want to care for the brothers' feelings and also resent them for trashing your new house? You can't have it both ways."
"If you hadn't brought out such good liquor, would these guys have gotten like this? They were all having a wild time and didn't know what they were doing."
"It's not about the quality of the liquor, it's about the brothers being happy.
People say good wine makes good men, and good men appreciate good wine. But when good wine meets good men, and they drink too much, the wine isn't so good anymore, and the men aren't so good either.
Let's hurry up and clean this. If Xiao Yu sees this tomorrow, he'll faint with anger."
As Guo Xuyang spoke, he went outside and grabbed a mop to help clean.
Lü Liang could only stare helplessly, with no other options.
He couldn't afford to buy another house and redecorate it.
By the time everyone finished cleaning, it was already past three in the afternoon.
The entire house was sparkling clean.
Except for the newlyweds' room, which the others hadn't trashed and didn't need cleaning, all the rooms that had been vomited in were thoroughly washed.
Even the bedding had been replaced with new ones.
"Let's go, everything's tidied up. Shall we get something to eat now?" Guo Xuyang called out.
"Forget it, it's fine not to eat one or two meals. These brothers are too embarrassed," Xiao Qi said.
"Man is iron, rice is steel. If you don't eat, you'll get hungry. You have to eat when it's time to eat. I've already eaten."
"The couplets and window decorations haven't been put up yet. And the rainbow arch outside, the red paper, none of it is done. Let's finish all of it before we eat," Xiao Qi insisted.
"Yangzi, let them help finish it before eating. Don't try to persuade them anymore," Lü Liang said from the side.
"Alright then. I'll take everyone out for a good meal tonight," Guo Xuyang said.
"No more drinking tonight," Lü Liang quickly added.
"We can have a small toast."
"Just forget it. Let's get to work quickly, the sooner we finish, the sooner we can rest. After it's done, I'll treat everyone to ramen."
"I've never seen anyone as stingy as you, you're almost as bad as Zhou Bapi," Guo Xuyang said grumpily.
