Guo Xuyang woke up when it was already dark. He was woken by Xi Youli's hair brushing against him.
"What time is it?"
"It's time for dinner. You were sleeping so soundly, I didn't have the heart to wake you."
"Then you go out first, I'll get dressed."
"You're not naked, what are you afraid of?"
"Don't tease me, don't think I won't eat you up."
"Hehehe, I'm just hoping for that," Xi Youli said with a sly grin.
"I never noticed you were so lustful before, what's going on now?"
"We have a saying here: 'Near vermillion, one becomes red; near ink, one becomes black.' Aren't I influenced by you?"
"Do I have that much charm?"
"Don't get a big head. Hurry up and get up, the food will get cold soon."
Xi Youli stood by and watched Guo Xuyang dress.
"As a young lady, you should be more modest."
"You're not naked, hurry up."
"Let me wash my face."
"You don't need a face to eat, why wash it? Hurry up, after eating I'll take you to the night market."
"There's a night market here too?"
"Yes. The night market here is much richer, with all sorts of entertainment. As long as you have money, you can even buy beautiful women and handsome men."
"Really? I'll have to go with you later then."
"I've noticed that all you men are the same, your eyes start to gleam at the mention of beautiful women."
"I saw your eyes gleam just now," Guo Xuyang said with a smile.
"Really? I didn't realize you observed so closely. I didn't expect someone of your stature to have such… assets." Xi Youli's remark hit its mark.
"I say, as a young lady, what are you looking at other than what you should be?"
Guo Xuyang knew his situation well. If he had been twenty centimeters longer before, he would probably be another two or three centimeters longer now.
"I'll come find you tonight, don't let your little Si pounce on you."
"Do you think everyone is as lustful as you? Let's go, where to?"
"Follow me. I'll take you," Xi Youli said, leading Guo Xuyang into a lavishly decorated room.
Inside the room, You Budena and Xiao Si were already impatiently eating.
"It smells so good, what is this?" Guo Xuyang asked as he sat down.
"It's our local specialty, Honey Porridge. How is it? Is it delicious?"
"I haven't had a bite yet. I can't lie and say whether it's good or not."
"It's delicious, this porridge is very comforting," You Budena said.
"You're just hungry. If you ate it every day, it wouldn't taste as good."
"I could eat it every day and never get tired of it. Guo Xuyang, thank you for saving me, and thank you even more for bringing us back." You Budena said.
"It was nothing. Please don't mention the thanks again."
"For the next few days, I'll accompany you and Lili to look around. The development here is uneven; the manor we are in was left by the former manor owner. These people have left these manors, either going to the big cities or going bankrupt and unable to continue."
"That's right. In a couple of days, I'll take you to the big city. You've never seen such prosperity," Xi Youli said happily.
"Didn't you just say the night market here is rich? After we finish eating, let's go explore the night market. See if there's anything good?" Guo Xuyang said.
"The night market has singing and dancing, it's similar to your side," You Budena said.
"But those people of yours are too cruel, they eat anything."
"What you saw is just an extreme minority; we can't judge everyone by a few individuals, can we?" Guo Xuyang said.
"I don't eat that kind of messy stuff. Besides, we're eating now, can we not talk about those things?"
"Right. Let's eat first, and we can talk later when we're at the night market," Xi Youli said.
The group ate quickly. After finishing and cleaning up, the four of them went out to the night market.
"Most of the things here are rural items," Xi Youli said as they walked. "There are good things too, but they are very few. It depends on your luck."
"My luck has always been quite good," Guo Xuyang said as he approached a night market stall. He spotted some nice beads. However, these beads seemed to be mixed with marbles for children, and several of them were made from meteorites.
"Boss, how much for these?"
Unfortunately, the boss ignored him for a long time.
"Why isn't he paying attention to me?" Guo Xuyang turned to Xi Youli and asked.
"He doesn't understand what you're saying, so how can he respond?" Xi Youli said, and then started bargaining with the vendor.
"Three gold coins."
"These marbles for children cost three gold coins?"
"Yes. Do you really want them?"
"Yes, why wouldn't I?" Guo Xuyang said, quickly and protectively putting them away.
"Xi Youli, pay for this."
"Why should I pay for your purchases?"
"I'm a guest, and I don't have your local gold coins. If you don't pay, who will?"
"Alright then. But you have to pay me back later."
"With what? How about pledging yourself to me?"
"Pledging yourself to me? What are you thinking? Don't flatter yourself."
The group walked further in, laughing.
"Why do I find this place so similar to our homeland?" Xiao Si suddenly said.
"What do you mean?"
"Many things in these planes are similar to those in our homeland?"
"What about it?"
"I suspect the people here might have migrated from our side?"
"That's not impossible. But if there was a connection, it would have been tens or hundreds of years ago."
"What are you doing, do you want them to come back again?" Guo Xuyang asked.
"That's not what I meant. If there really is a connection, I could establish a coordinate here and completely relocate our people."
"This place is pleasant and sunny, while our homeland is poor and rugged, and we even have to import food."
"If you really established a passage with this place, it would also be convenient for your planet's people to come here for recuperation, settlement, and residence. It's a win-win situation, isn't it?"
"More or less. It would be good for us to settle in this place then."
"Don't say 'us', it's you and them. I have other matters to attend to when I return."
"Guo Xuyang, tell me honestly, how far is Earth from this place?"
"Not close," Guo Xuyang replied.
"Didn't you say earlier that you were sending them because it was on your way?"
"If I had said it wasn't on my way, would you have sent them?"
"Of course not. I have no relationship with them."
"Don't say that too soon, you might actually have a relationship with them."
"If we do, that would be even better. That way, we can have mutual exchanges. Moreover, with the advanced technology here, it would be of immense help to our planet."
"As long as you don't invade, the number of people you bring, or finding a good planet to develop on, are all up to you."
