Chapter 742 Wall-Piercing Technique

Guo Xuyang was at ease, but Jiang Qixin and others at the base were far from idle.

Guo Xuyang’s recent activities had been too significant to conceal from spy satellites.

Jiang Qixin ordered the robots and spacecraft from the shuttle to be transferred to the base, leaving only the shuttle outside.

Concurrently, experts were dispatched to examine and research the shuttle.

This shuttle was vastly larger than the previous spacecraft they had encountered.

They assigned personnel to take turns on watch, as the shuttle’s hatch could not be opened from the outside once sealed.

This was also to prevent sabotage or interference from enemy agents and spies.

These robots and small spacecraft were invaluable, not to mention the warships.

“Minister Jiang, all robots have been transferred. Please instruct us.”

A representative sent by Commander Xu approached Jiang Qixin.

“Excellent. Hand them over to the experts for dissection and study. How is the spacecraft transfer progressing?”

“It’s underway. The sheer size presents considerable challenges for the transfer, and the base’s space is rather limited…”

“Can it be managed? If not, move it elsewhere,” Jiang Qixin interrupted, waving his hand.

“It would be best to move it,” the representative considered before replying.

“Can adequate security measures be put in place?”

“We are not too far from our military region. If we move swiftly, the transfer could be completed by this afternoon.”

“Very well. I will contact Commander Xu. You organize personnel and vehicles to transport the spacecraft immediately. Ensure robust security measures are in place to prevent enemy interference.”

“Rest assured, Minister. No one dares to touch our assets in this territory.”

“That mindset is not advisable. This is not ordinary material; you might not realize the full importance of this shipment.”

“Minister Jiang, I guarantee you, the mission will be completed with absolute safety.”

“There can be no room for carelessness. Be extremely cautious,” Jiang Qixin emphasized.

“Yes, sir.” The representative saluted and departed.

Still uneasy, Jiang Qixin personally arranged for Commander Xu to be called.

“Old Xu, it’s Jiang Qixin. This batch of spacecraft hasn’t been used yet, so you must pay close attention, old friend.”

“Old Jiang, don’t worry. The people I’ve sent are beyond reproach.”

“The base lacks sufficient space, so a portion needs to be moved to your location for safekeeping. Be vigilant on the road. Enemy agents have already infiltrated.”

“I’ll contact the local authorities immediately and enforce a full lockdown along the route.” Commander Xu became tense upon hearing this. He understood the critical importance of this consignment. Higher authorities had instructed him to provide unconditional and full cooperation to Jiang Qixin. He was aware of his responsibilities.

“That’s the best course of action. Once these few busy days are over, I’ll treat you to a drink,” Jiang Qixin said with a smile.

“No problem. I have plenty of wine, if nothing else.”

“Then it’s settled,” Jiang Qixin said, hanging up the phone.

As long as Commander Xu took this seriously, there shouldn’t be major issues. The primary concern was that the spies wouldn’t dare to conduct open robbery or sabotage. Given the short timeframe, they likely hadn’t anticipated the arrival of so many spacecraft.

The mystery of the previous spacecraft remained unsolved, and now this enormous shuttle had appeared, keeping the experts incredibly busy. However, these experts were not complaining about the workload; they were exhilarated. The shuttle’s design completely surpassed their understanding. They had never imagined seeing such a craft in reality. These were objects they had only encountered in science fiction films, yet they existed now in the real world.

Although they didn’t know the origin of these shuttles, they were all aware of Guo Xuyang’s name and knew he had brought them. Despite Jiang Qixin’s strict orders for the experts to refrain from mentioning Guo Xuyang’s name, it had still been leaked by some.

“What kind of person is this Guo Xuyang? How can he repeatedly bring such things from elsewhere? How does he do it?”

Around a large conference table sat individuals clad in various uniforms.

“Guo Xuyang is from a small county in China. He likely possesses some form of special ability. He began accumulating vast wealth last year and later moved to the provincial capital. He is known to be quite lascivious and unfaithful, with numerous wives and mistresses. However, the backgrounds of several of his wives are peculiar, with their identification documents processed later. In the latter half of last year, he met Jiang Qixin, the CEO of Far East Trading International. Jiang Qixin, while publicly the CEO of Far East Trading International, was actually a victim of political struggles. He was later reinstated and appointed as a minister. Guo Xuyang’s several excursions abroad were at Jiang Qixin’s suggestion. As for his most recent trip, Guo Xuyang acted alone. There are no records of how he departed. He did not utilize their local aircraft.”

A young woman, not yet old, wearing glasses, presented Guo Xuyang’s profile. Despite her youth, she had been specially recruited into a secret agency.

“Catherine, you mentioned earlier that he didn’t use their local aircraft. What did you mean by that? Did he sprout wings and fly out himself?” asked a balding, plump man seated in the center of the conference table.

“His recent departure was extremely mysterious; there are no travel records for him. His return with these massive spacecraft was also abrupt. Surveillance footage shows them appearing suddenly.”

“Good heavens, how is that possible? Isn’t this a fairy tale? Are you sure you’re not joking?”

“Yes, Your Excellency George. I guarantee it with my honor. We have captured footage.” Catherine clicked her mouse a few times. The large screen showed an empty space one second, and the next, it was occupied by enormous spacecraft. Furthermore, nine spacecraft appeared simultaneously.

“Impossible, how can this be? Is there a problem with the satellite? How could nine spacecraft enter simultaneously in less than a second?” shouted the bald George. The others also found it incredible and unanimously attributed it to satellite transmission issues.

“That is why I suspect he possesses some form of superpower. Everyone, please look at this screenshot.” Catherine clicked twice more, zooming in on an image of a shuttle’s opened hatch.

“This doesn’t show anything unusual,” George commented after a long look.

“Let me play a video for everyone to see, and you’ll understand.” Catherine then played a video. This segment showed an intact shuttle suddenly opening its hatch.

“I still don’t understand,” George said after watching for a while.

“Everyone, please look closely. These spacecraft are sealed. This person is standing outside. Now, look again, when did he enter? He is now emerging from inside.” Catherine played the video in slow motion, explaining as she went.

“That is indeed the case. What does that signify?” George inquired.

“It signifies that this person can phase through walls, or possesses other special abilities. Otherwise, there would be no way for him to enter such a tightly sealed spacecraft,” Catherine stated, looking around at everyone.
