The meal concluded with everyone in high spirits, though the seating arrangement had been swapped.
Initially, Guo Xuyang was supposed to treat them, but due to his card being unusable, Wu Shuchen ended up footing the bill.
The six of them spent less than eight hundred US dollars, which was relatively reasonable.
The food was exquisite and tasted good, so much so that they ordered several more dishes later.
Otherwise, they wouldn't have spent over seven hundred US dollars.
"Let's go, shall we head back?" Guo Xuyang stood up and said.
"Let's go back to the hotel," Li Minyu replied.
"You guys don't need to go back. We've already booked rooms."
Guo Xuyang said to Xu Xiaoyu and the other two.
"This..." Xu Xiaoyu was about to refuse, but Sun Yue grabbed her.
"Okay, we won't go back. We've never stayed in such a high-class hotel before."
"Shall we walk back? It's a good way to digest the food."
Guo Xuyang said and walked out first.
The girl who had been playing the piano was gone, replaced by a young and dashing young man playing an unknown melody.
It sounded nice, but unfortunately, Guo Xuyang couldn't recall its name.
Upon arriving at the hotel, the room situation became a bit tricky, as they had only booked three suites.
Guo Xuyang took one for himself and went straight to bed.
After a long day, he was indeed feeling tired.
Xiao Lu glanced at Sun Yue, and then the two of them went to another room.
This left Xu Xiaoyu, Wu Shuchen, and Li Minyu.
"Then shall the three of us squeeze into one room for the night?" Li Minyu asked the other two.
"The beds in the room are large enough, and we can sleep on the sofas. It's fine to squeeze in," Xu Xiaoyu said.
"Or should I book another room?" Wu Shuchen offered.
"There's no need. What time is it? We'll have to wake up soon after sleeping for only a while."
Li Minyu did not agree and directly pushed the door open and went inside.
This room was the one where Guo Xuyang had cleared Wu Shuchen's toxins.
It had an inner and outer room, two large beds, two sets of sofas, and a very spacious living area.
"I won't fight you for it. I'll take one bed, and you two can figure out how to sleep," Li Minyu said to the two of them before going into the unused room.
"Xiaoyu, why don't the two of us sleep on this bed?" Wu Shuchen looked at Xu Xiaoyu and said.
"Looking at these bedsheets, did you two do it on this bed?" Xu Xiaoyu asked.
"What are you talking about? He didn't get on the bed at all.
I don't know what happened, but I fell asleep in a daze.
When I woke up, the toxins in my body were cleared, and I felt incredibly comfortable."
"He didn't get intimate with you?"
"If you don't believe me, can't you believe him?" Wu Shuchen said.
"Is your illness really cured?"
"Yes, it's different from before.
If I had seen that handsome young man playing the piano just now, I might not have returned today.
But when I came out just now, I didn't feel anything at all.
And it feels like something is missing from my head; when I try to recall it, it feels like it's been gouged out."

"Who told you that?" Wu Shuchen didn't understand why Xu Xiaoyu would say that.
"His sister-in-law told us herself.
While he was treating you here, his sister-in-law told us about his situation.
I can't imagine what it would be like for someone to have twenty to thirty mistresses."
Xu Xiaoyu fanned the air in front of her with disgust, as if trying to dispel the words she had spoken.
"How is that possible? Twenty to thirty mistresses?
Did his sister-in-law really say that?
And how would his sister-in-law know so clearly?"
"They're family, who wouldn't know about whom?"
"But I feel like his sister-in-law is a bit strange towards him, like they have some unspeakable secret."
Wu Shuchen said in a low voice.
"Let's not talk about it anymore. His sister-in-law is in the next room, and it's not good if she overhears."
"How are you going to sleep? Shall we two sleep on this bed?" Wu Shuchen asked.
"I'll sleep on the sofa.
Who knows if that guy took advantage of you while you were asleep and did something indescribable?"
"As you wish. But I believe he didn't do anything to me."
Wu Shuchen handed Xu Xiaoyu a blanket and said.
"Let's get some sleep. I have things to do tomorrow."
Nothing out of the ordinary happened that night, but when Xu Xiaoyu woke up in the morning, she found herself in Guo Xuyang's bed.
She rubbed her eyes hard, looked at herself, and then at Guo Xuyang who was sleeping soundly beside her. She couldn't believe it was real.
She pinched her arm hard; yes, this was not a dream.
But she had no memory of how she had gotten to Guo Xuyang's room and into his bed.
She definitely didn't sleepwalk; nothing like this had ever happened before.
Besides, even if she sleepwalked, she wouldn't have been able to open Guo Xuyang's door and go in.
This defied logic.
Yet, the fact was right in front of her. Yesterday, she had inexplicably transformed from a girl into a woman.
She wanted to go crazy, to scream, but she managed to restrain herself.
Something must have gone wrong somewhere.
She had clearly taken the blanket and gone to sleep on the sofa in the living room.
She hadn't been dreaming, nor had she sleepwalked, so how did she end up in Guo Xuyang's room?
This was something she couldn't fathom.
She carefully put on the hotel-provided nightgown and picked up her shoes, intending to go back.
But when she reached for the doorknob, she remembered she didn't have her room key card.
The key card seemed to be with Li Wu Shuchen, who had opened the door.
She had followed Li Minyu and Wu Shuchen inside.
Going back like this now would make these people laugh at her.
When did she become so careless with herself?
She retracted her hand, then went to the bedside and slapped Guo Xuyang hard.
"What are you doing? You're crazy." Guo Xuyang, woken by the slap, was furious.
"What are you talking about? I know what you did?"
"Then how did I get into your room?"
"Ridiculous. I was sleeping soundly in my own room, and you're the one who slapped me awake and are now blaming me.
I know how you got in."
