"You promised to take me out for a hotel stay."
Li Minyu said as he got into the car.
"I haven't forgotten.
But you'll have to wait until I've eaten.

"You should have said so earlier.
I was too focused on following you. I saved you a portion of the meal Yezi brought over."
"Never mind. That food is probably cold by now. Let Brother Liang or someone else eat it when I get back.

"Let's go for barbecue.
I haven't had barbecue in a long time."

It was understandable given her desire.

The night market was crowded, as it was peak time. Every stall had seven or eight tables occupied.
The two of them finally found a less crowded stall to sit at.

The barbecue stall owner, upon hearing a big customer, quickly responded.
"Can you even eat that much?"
Li Minyu quietly tugged at Guo Xuyang's sleeve.
"You can order whatever else you want.
I think I can handle all of this myself."
"Are you a pig? You eat so much?
A hundred skewers of lamb."
"They're small skewers, don't you see?
Perfect for a bite each.
I'm starving, I didn't even get to eat lunch."
"Then do as you please.
I'll just eat a little. I can't eat too much at night.
Otherwise, the little one will kick me."
"The night's activities might be quite strenuous. If you don't eat enough, don't come asking me for food later."
"It's alright, I won't be hungry with you."
Li Minyu said, looking at Guo Xuyang.
"Why does that sound so creepy?
Are you really planning to drain me dry?"

Everyone is looking over here."

As they were talking, the barbecue stall owner brought over fifty skewers of lamb and ten skewers of chili.
"Boss, you can start eating.

And the beer too."

The boss said, letting some gas out of the draft beer and pouring a mug for Guo Xuyang.

He said, while devouring the skewer, finishing it in a few bites.

"With the draft beer, it won't be too hot."
Guo Xuyang said, his mouth still busy, and he wolfed down several more skewers.
"I'm not competing with you, eat slowly.
There's plenty more to come."

If they get cold, they won't taste as good."
"I won't eat those kidneys, I can't stand the taste."
"It's fine, I'll eat them.
You can eat the grilled oysters and the squid.
If it's not enough, you can order more."
As they were happily eating, two women approached.

Zhan Yifang said, picking up a stool and sitting down.

We happened to be passing by today and saw you here, so we came to say hello."

Then this morning, they came to my place making a big fuss.
