Chapter 114: Chapter 114: Still Want to Cripple Me? Thanks for the Lesson
"How are you here?"
Ryan Rowe looked at the girl who appeared at his house with a face full of shock.
Shouldn’t she have been beaten to a pulp and sent to the hotel by those people?
Why is she standing perfectly fine in front of him?
Claire Green’s brows and eyes carried a chilling coldness. Hearing his words, she smiled thinly, "Didn’t you want to cripple me? Now I’ve delivered myself to your doorstep."
Upon hearing her words, Rowe realized the plan had failed and couldn’t help but curse inwardly, a bunch of useless fools, can’t even handle a girl, yet call themselves mercenaries.
"Huh," he sneered, his face ferocious, "I didn’t expect you to escape unharmed from their hands, but since you brought yourself here to die, then don’t blame me for being rude."
With those words.
He didn’t move an inch, simply raised his hand and pressed a button under the coffee table. Instantly, the entire manor’s alarm began to sound.
Claire Green stood lazily to the side, her gaze coldly watching his actions with no intention to stop him.
In just a moment.
The entire hall was surrounded, everyone staring malevolently at the girl in the center.
"Young Master Rowe, sorry, someone broke in due to my negligence."
The leading man, dressed in black, placed his right hand on his chest, bowed slightly, and spoke respectfully.
Rowe’s gaze was sharp as he stared at him, displeased, "Since you know it was your negligence, then why aren’t you dealing with her? What, do you want me to invite you?"
The man bowed even deeper, "I wouldn’t dare."
Then he raised his head, his gaze icy and snake-like, staring coldly at the girl.
"Go."
With that command, they all swarmed forward.
Seeing the people rushing toward her, Claire Green’s eyes grew even colder. She licked her red lips bloodthirstily, a wicked smile curling at the corners.
She effortlessly flipped someone over her shoulder, kicking the person coming at her straight in the abdomen.
The man saw his subordinates couldn’t even get close to her and his gaze deepened immediately.
After a while.
Claire Green looked at the only man standing who hadn’t made a move, her gaze frivolous and leisurely said, "Have you observed enough? Let’s begin."
Seeing this, the man sneered coldly, "I must say you have courage."
With that, he rushed forward, throwing a heavy punch directly at Claire Green’s face, his eyes showing pride—but next second, he was bewildered.
What?
His fist was blocked?
In disbelief, he tried to retract his hand, and suddenly a sharp pain shot through his arm.
"What did you do?"
Claire Green chuckled softly, her voice irritating, "Take a guess."
"You..." The man, enraged, immediately kicked his long leg forward.
But no matter how he attacked, Claire Green seemed to anticipate every move, countering them.
Finally, he was taken down, the pain throughout his body made him fully realize the terror of the girl before him.
Meanwhile, Ryan Rowe watched the girl with terror on his face, never imagining the security of his manor would be taken down by her.
These were people he had handpicked from retired special forces.
"It looks like Ryan family’s prowess isn’t all that," Claire Green remarked casually.
Rowe watched the girl approaching him step by step, his body starting to tremble, his words turning into a stammer, "You...what...do you want?"
"What do I want, you’ll soon find out."
With Claire Green’s sneer, Rowe’s scream immediately rang out.
He looked at the knife wound on his leg, his eyes filled with terror.
"I am from the Rowe family, aren’t you afraid of their revenge?"
Hearing this.
Claire Green’s eyes lifted, and she spoke softly, "Then let them try."
After saying that, Rowe screamed again, finally unable to endure it, he started crying out in pain, "I’m sorry, please let me go."
"Tch," Claire Green chuckled, flinging the knife aside, "Still want to cripple me now?"
"Don’t want to," Rowe shook his head frantically, "Rest assured, the ten billion from the bet will be credited to your account in full."
Just as he thought Claire Green would spare him, even more intense pain surged.
"Then I’ll be waiting," Claire Green smirked, "Thanks for tonight’s lesson."
Casually leaving that statement, wildness in her demeanor as she slowly left, leaving behind chaos.
Seeing her leave, those guards, disregarding their pain and wounds, immediately rushed to Rowe, speaking in concern.
"Young Master Rowe, are you alright?"
Ryan Rowe roared in displeasure, "Fools, do I look alright? Hurry, call an ambulance."
"Yes."
...
The next day.
The news of Ryan Rowe, the eldest son of the Rowe family, being severely injured spread throughout the upper circles of M Country.
Apparently, not only was he injured, but even the security at his manor was severely wounded. But when asked why, everyone remained silent.
Inside Skin Manor, Old Cat, upon hearing the news, spat out his coffee.
This can’t be the work of J, can it?
"What’s got you riled up so early,"
Thomas Skin frowned at him, signaling the butler to clear the table and bring a new set.
Old Cat ignored him, directly calling someone to confirm his suspicions.
"J, did you have anything to do with Rowe’s incident?"
Thomas Skin halted his actions upon hearing this, watching Old Cat’s phone with interest.
Claire Green was leisurely eating a sandwich. Hearing the question, she raised an eyebrow, "Word travels fast."
Whoa, it’s really her.
Old Cat was stunned for two seconds, "You never cease to amaze me."
That was Ryan Rowe, and she casually hospitalized him.
In his daze, Claire Green’s indifferent voice sounded, "Going to R Nation this afternoon, get ready."
In an instant, all thoughts of Rowe fled his mind, "Alright, I’ll come to find you later."
"Was it really her?" Thomas Skin raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, I thought if Rowe really messed with her, I’d step in, but she handled it all herself."
Noticing Old Cat’s expression, Thomas Skin was speechless. Just say it, what’s with that proud face?
"Where are you going?"
Reflecting on Old Cat’s words, Thomas Skin curiously inquired.
To this, Old Cat didn’t hide it, "R Nation, she has some business there."
Hearing this, Thomas Skin thoughtfully nodded, not pressing further.
"Beaten up, my brother is quite an achiever."
In the main house of the Rowe family, a young man sneered as he heard his subordinate’s report.
"Do you know who did it?"
This was the first time in M Country someone dared to attack Rowe; certainly, he wanted to see.
The person beside him shook his head, "Not clear, but they said it was a girl wearing a mask."
Suddenly, he remembered something, "They also mentioned that the girl seemed to have an unusual relationship with Thomas Skin."
Ryan Rowe squinted slightly, lost in thought.
Suddenly.
He smiled faintly, "Prepare the car, let’s visit my dear brother in the hospital."
