Chapter 93 - 92: Minded? Ruthless When Throwing His Brother Under the Bus

Chapter 93: Chapter 92: Minded? Ruthless When Throwing His Brother Under the Bus

"Miss Green, mind walking with me?"

As soon as they got off the plane, Caleb Green spoke first.

Claire Green’s irritation was clear in her expression, her eyes cold, "If I say I do mind, will you disappear from my sight?"

Caleb’s eyes were gentle, and he smiled apologetically, "I’m afraid not."

The moment he finished speaking.

He heard the girl’s impatient and chilly voice.

"Then why did you even ask?"

Caleb was stunned, experiencing this kind of attitude for the first time in his life.

Meanwhile, Claire, radiating low pressure, walked right past the two without giving another glance.

Benjamin Green watched her departing figure, then glanced at the man beside him, sighing with a bitter face.

How is one supposed to deal with a sister and brother who don’t get along?

"Bro, if you don’t hurry, you’ll lose sight of sis," Benjamin tugged Caleb’s hand, reminding him.

Caleb snapped back to reality, without thinking, he scooped Benjamin up and quickly followed after Claire.

Outside the airport, Julian Sia leaned casually against the railing, occasionally glancing at the exit. His striking looks attracted many stares from passersby.

"Wow, girl, I spotted a premium hottie. I could stare at those legs for ages,"

A girl had just stepped out of the airport and couldn’t resist calling to share as she saw Julian.

"Every guy you see is supposedly premium, you said the same last time,"

The girl on the other end was obviously skeptical and couldn’t help but sass her.

The first girl, recalling past incidents, let out a sheepish laugh, "I swear I’m not exaggerating this time. Just wait, I’ll send you a photo."

Saying that, she opened her camera and sneakily snapped several photos of Julian before sending a few over.

A minute later, a high-pitched scream came from the phone, "Ah, what a stunningly handsome guy, Daisy Cooper, what are you waiting for, go for it!"

Daisy winced at the volume hurting her eardrums, taking a moment to reply, "Go for what?"

"Get his contact info, of course. You can’t let someone so handsome slip by."

After hearing that, Daisy was completely speechless. While she loved admiring good looks, she wasn’t so infatuated as to chase after contact details.

She snapped at the phone, "You’ve got some nerve."

The girl on the other end quickly caught her meaning and said, "Seriously, Daisy Cooper, you’re passing up on someone so hot, aren’t you wasting potential?"

"I can’t be bothered with you," Daisy ignored her currently crazy best friend and hung up the phone decisively.

Just then.

Mason Quinn and George Xyler walked over, noting the gaze of the people around them with some amusement.

"Julian, I told you to stay in the car, and now look," Mason teased, "You’ve become a public spectacle. That girl over there can’t take her eyes off you."

Julian shot him a glance, uninterested, "How about you and I spar a little?"

The next moment.

Mason stepped back two paces, suddenly feeling the injury on his face throb with pain again.

Why does everyone like sparring so much?

George, seeing the situation, let out a low chuckle, "Talks too much."

Mason covered his face, pouting. Just as he was about to speak, he suddenly spotted the girl walking out from the exit and the people behind her.

"Huh, why’s Claire Green coming out with Caleb?"

Julian watched the three approaching him, his eyes narrowing slightly, sensing that Claire’s emotions were off.

"Why are you all together?"

As soon as they got close, Mason asked with a face full of gossip.

Claire cast her cold eyes on him, her tone raspy, "Scram."

Then she climbed directly into the car and closed her eyes.

Mason was left puzzled, "Julian, what’s up with your little ancestor, did she eat explosives?"

Julian’s expression turned icy, "Why are you here?"

Caleb met his gaze, feeling a bit speechless. Julian was angry.

Because of her?

"He followed Sister Claire here. I suspect he also likes Sister Claire, so Julian, you’re in danger."

Benjamin Green had no qualms about throwing his brother under the bus, adding exaggerated details about the events in M Country.

As Benjamin spoke, Julian’s gaze grew colder. He wasn’t buying Benjamin’s little tale, but Claire’s emotional state probably really did have something to do with Caleb.

Mason and George both looked at Caleb with a face full of brave admiration.

Damn, even though they knew things wouldn’t be as Benjamin put it, the mere mention of questions regarding past events was enough to tick Julian off.

No wonder Claire looked so unapproachable and cold.

"Liking Claire," Julian’s voice was deep, his brows and eyes filled with chill.

Caleb now just wanted to toss this mischievous little rascal in his arms away, to crack jokes like this in front of Julian.

Is he asking to get himself killed?

"No, remember what I told you last time, I just happened to run into Miss Green in M Country and couldn’t help but ask a few questions." Caleb explained.

After speaking.

Julian, recalling what he said before, frowned slightly, his tone indifferent, "Don’t let it happen again."

Suddenly, a chilly voice interrupted.

"How long do you plan to stay here?"

Julian shot Caleb a warning glance before getting into the car.

Seeing everyone get into the car, Benjamin only felt a chill down his spine and couldn’t help but flail, "I want to ride with sister."

"You must be dreaming," Caleb pinched his cheek, his tone displeased, "Let’s talk about today’s incident."

I don’t want to talk.

Benjamin shook his head furiously, his eyes constantly darting towards Claire’s car.

Unfortunately, in the end, he resignedly got into Mason’s car with Caleb.

As soon as he sat down, Benjamin immediately admitted fault obediently, "Bro, I didn’t do it on purpose, just joking."

"That was quite the joke, almost had your brother sent away,"

Mason chuckled as he drove.

"Haven’t I warned you that if you speak nonsense again, you’d be sent back to the old house? It seems you really want to go back,"

Caleb’s voice was bland, watching him intently.

"I didn’t, I promise there won’t be a next time," Benjamin raised his hand earnestly, his young face full of seriousness.

At worst, I won’t say it next time.

"Do you think you still have any credibility with me?"

"Bro, we’re siblings, we should trust each other."

The conversation between the two was heard word for word by Mason and George in the front seats, causing them to chuckle.

Now he remembers they’re brothers, but when he was getting his brother in trouble, it was a different story.

"Benjamin is really smooth-talking," George remarked with a smile.

Hearing that, Benjamin grinned to show his teeth, "Thank you, Brother George, for the compliment."

George’s smile froze instantly, surprised by the lack of modesty.

"Why does that sound so familiar,"

After a moment,

George turned to Mason, "Didn’t Claire Green say something like that too?"

Hearing that, Mason pondered, "I don’t think she did, but both are quite cheeky."
