Seven Star Divine Fish

Chapter 693 First Arrival at the Hua Family

After a bit of banter with Hua Yu, Lin Feng instructed Mu Bei to bring the helicopter.

He could have used his Flying Pig Speed to instantly teleport Hua Yu to the Hua family's residence, but it was well past midnight, and the Hua family members were likely already asleep.

It wouldn't be ideal to show up unannounced at this hour. Instead of being too abrupt, it would be better to foster some connection with Hua Yu on the flight.

Thus, while Duan Liang was still recuperating, Lin Feng and Hua Yu quietly departed.

Upon exiting the courtyard, Mu Bei had already parked the helicopter in the open space by the yard's entrance.

Seeing Lin Feng and Hua Yu appear, Mu Bei's eyes lit up.

He looked at the elegantly dressed Hua Yu, his gaze filled with undeniable admiration.

But upon noticing Lin Feng's displeased look, Mu Bei quickly retreated to the pilot's seat of the helicopter.

Lin Feng helped Hua Yu onto the helicopter, supporting her hand.

Due to the helicopter's limited space, Lin Feng and Hua Yu had to squeeze into the two back seats.

With the rotors spinning rapidly, the helicopter gradually disappeared into the night sky.

The flight from Qingcheng to Kyoto took about four hours.

After boarding the helicopter, Hua Yu began to feel drowsy.

Before long, Lin Feng felt a pressure on his shoulder. He turned his head to find Hua Yu resting her head on his shoulder, fast asleep.

Lin Feng looked at the sleeping woman, her delicate and slightly weary face, and moved very cautiously out of concern.

He let Hua Yu rest her head on his shoulder and specifically instructed Mu Bei to fly steadily.

As the sky gradually turned to a pale dawn, Hua Yu finally awoke from her sleep.

She propped up her heavy head and, upon noticing the helicopter was already flying over Kyoto, apologized sincerely, "I'm so sorry, I was just too sleepy."

"Is your shoulder alright? You could have woken me up!"

Hua Yu thought about how long she had slept on Lin Feng's shoulder and how uncomfortable he must have been the entire time.

"It's nothing, my body is made of iron. I was worried you wouldn't be able to sleep well when you got home, so I wanted you to have a comfortable sleep," Lin Feng said nonchalantly.

"Well, regardless, thank you for letting me rest on your shoulder the whole way."

Hua Yu smoothed her dishevelled hair from her temples, revealing a sweet smile.

"We're practically married, you don't need to keep thanking me. It makes me feel like you're treating me like an outsider," Lin Feng said.

Lin Feng took out their marriage certificate from his pocket and opened it, pointing to the date they registered their marriage. Unknowingly, it had been almost half a year since he and Hua Yu got married.

"Why are you still carrying this around?" Hua Yu asked, staring at Lin Feng in surprise.

"I'm afraid your family might not acknowledge it, so I need to remind them constantly," Lin Feng offered an explanation that made Hua Yu both amused and speechless.

"You're so childish! Even if we're married, we can still get divorced."

"So this certificate of yours isn't very useful." Hua Yu reached out and poked Lin Feng's forehead, finding him adorable.

Unexpectedly, Lin Feng grabbed Hua Yu's finger and, to her astonished gaze, brought it to his lips and began to suck on it.

Feeling the warmth and moisture on her finger, Hua Yu's delicate body felt as if it had been electrified, and her pretty face flushed crimson.

"What are you doing? Let go of my hand quickly," Hua Yu chided, not expecting Lin Feng to be so bold.

Having succeeded, Lin Feng smiled slightly. He didn't linger on the delicacy of Hua Yu's finger but instead extended his arm and pulled her slender, boneless, delicate body into his embrace.

"Don't move, I just can't help but want to hold you," Lin Feng said softly, stopping Hua Yu as she tried to pull away.

Hua Yu swallowed the words that were about to escape her lips.

She looked at Lin Feng's earnest expression and eventually allowed him to hold her for a while.

At this moment, the helicopter began to descend slowly.

Below was a vast estate, covered in greenery, with numerous security guards patrolling the grounds.

This was precisely the Hua family's estate in Kyoto, home to members of one of the four great families of Kyoto.

Looking at the familiar grounds, Hua Yu couldn't help but feel a sense of melancholy.

She didn't know what awaited her upon her return.

But feeling Lin Feng's strong chest against her, Hua Yu suddenly felt a sense of peace.

She no longer felt the apprehension she had when returning to the Hua family; instead, there was a hint of anticipation.

Anticipation that Lin Feng might be accepted by the Hua family.

Hua Yu was startled by this thought herself.

She didn't know why she so desperately wanted her family to approve of Lin Feng.

She simply attributed it to witnessing Lin Feng's arduous journey and wanting to personally witness his success.

"Alright, call Shou Bo. We're going to land on your family's lawn, so we don't cause any unnecessary misunderstandings," Lin Feng released Hua Yu and gestured.

Hua Yu nodded and immediately took out her phone to contact Shou Bo.

Upon learning that Hua Yu had brought Lin Feng back to the Hua family, Shou Bo was quite surprised by their speed.

After hanging up, Lin Feng saw the Hua family's security guards gathering.

Then, someone began waving a flag to guide the helicopter.

As the helicopter landed on the Hua family's lawn, Shou Bo, who was below, had already brought people to greet them.

"Miss, your father and the others haven't woken up yet. Only the elder has."

"He knows you're back and is waiting for you in the garden. Follow me," Shou Bo said, leading Hua Yu towards the garden.

As for Lin Feng, Shou Bo completely ignored him, as if he didn't exist.

Clearly, Shou Bo still harboured resentment and dissatisfaction towards Lin Feng.

"Shou Bo, Lin Feng came back with me too. Aren't you going to greet him?" Hua Yu noticed Shou Bo's problematic attitude and reminded him sternly.

"Miss, it's enough that you're back. Whether he comes or not is unimportant," Shou Bo scoffed, his words clearly showing disdain for Lin Feng.

"I'll break your ribs! You're quite arrogant, aren't you? Do you think I'm still the same person as before, easily manipulated?" Lin Feng was displeased. If Shou Bo disliked him, he certainly disliked Shou Bo too.

"Hmph, even if you defeated Lin Zhen and became the number one on the Earth Ranking, you're still not worth mentioning in my eyes," Shou Bo stopped and said sternly to Lin Feng.

"Fine, I've heard your words. I hope you don't regret it later and have to beg me," Lin Feng didn't want to bother with Shou Bo. This was the Hua family's territory, and he didn't want to cause trouble there.

As for settling the score with Shou Bo, it wouldn't be too late to do so later.

"Begging you? Dream on!" Shou Bo grumbled incessantly and led Lin Feng and Hua Yu into the Hua family's back garden.

The moment he stepped into the garden, Lin Feng finally understood why Hua Yu loved growing flowers so much, because the Hua family's garden was truly enormous.

The garden was planted with all sorts of flowers, making it seem like one had walked into a flower market.
