Chapter 110 The Man With The Scalpel

Inside the temporary detention facility at Camp Raine.

This detention facility was actually the restroom of a restaurant on the commercial street.

The space was cramped and windowless, so there was no worry about the imprisoned people escaping.

Among those held was a refined man wearing black-rimmed glasses.

His name was Bai Hanlin, and he was a doctor.

He had been at a family dinner when he suddenly transmigrated to a hospital filled with zombies.

Leveraging his knowledge of human anatomy and precise skills, Bai Hanlin, armed with a scalpel, led his family on a bloody escape.

Fortuitously, he found a bus with its keys still inside, managing to flee to safety.

During their time in the post-apocalyptic world, Bai Hanlin and his family gradually mastered survival skills.

They had also narrowly escaped from zombie hordes on several occasions.

A couple of days prior, by chance, they heard that a military base to the south had been occupied by soldiers who would provide assistance to Chinese civilians.

After discussing it with his family, Bai Hanlin decided to drive to the military base.

After all, the soldiers of the Dragon Country were extremely reliable.

With more people, their defenses would be even stronger!

However, they hadn't expected...

To be ambushed while passing through the Jinyu District.

The bus was destroyed, and his entire family was taken hostage and brought here.

Some Westerners could apparently see the items within their rings.

They were forced to empty their rings before being locked in the restroom.

The nightmare began.

It's okay, it's okay. We thought we were in desperate situations so many times before!

But we still managed to escape, didn't we? We can do it this time too!

Bai Hanlin spoke softly, comforting his wife.

His elderly parents sat in the darkness, not speaking.

However, they were well aware that under these circumstances, the chances of escape were practically zero.

Outside, there were at least dozens of Westerners armed with guns.

Regardless of their individual strength, with those firearms, they had no means to resist.

Bai Hanlin possessed the strongest cultivation within the family, at the physical limit stage.

His parents and wife were all at the exceptionally strong stage.

None of them could withstand the damage from bullets.

"Mmm..."

His wife nodded, a quiet affirmation.

She remained curled up in the corner.

Soon, the sound of footsteps approached the door.

Then, the restroom door was opened.

Two powerful flashlights shone, making it difficult for those inside to open their eyes.

"This Nile woman is good. It'll be great to have her."

The bearded Westerner exclaimed loudly.

"This Eastern woman is also good. I'll try her later!"

Another dark-skinned bald man leered at Bai Hanlin's wife, saying with a smile.

"Alright, stop wasting time. Quickly help me hold this Nile woman down, she's a crazy one!"

"Be careful, don't kill her, or it won't be fun later!"

The bearded man swung the butt of his gun, smashing it into the back of the heads of two men who were beginning to resist.

"This is my sister! I won't allow you to touch her!"

The Nile man suddenly stood up and lunged at the bearded man.

"Bang!"

The bearded man fired without hesitation.

A large hole was blown into the Nile man's head.

Blood stained the wall behind him.

He fell to the ground, stiff and lifeless.

"Don't waste it. Take the body to feed the zombies, and fortify the defenses!"

The bearded man waved towards the doorway.

Four more tattooed men, armed with guns, stood by the entrance.

One of them entered, grabbed the Nile man by the feet, and dragged him out.

The ground was covered in blood...

"Brother, my brother! You madmen, you killed my brother!"

"God will surely punish you!"

The Nile woman thrashed wildly, trying to scratch the bearded man with her fingernails.

Her strength was too small; her punches and kicks were useless.

Only her nails could inflict any damage on him.

"Slap!"

"Thump!"

The bald man next to her violently slapped the Nile woman.

He was at the exceptionally strong stage.

This blow was delivered with full force.

It immediately knocked the Nile woman unconscious.

Half of her face swelled instantly.

"Hey, what are you doing? If you beat her like this, how are we supposed to... later?"

The bearded man spread his hands, his face filled with dissatisfaction.

"Didn't you ask me to help subdue this crazy woman? I've done it now! Read books."

The bald man replied indifferently.

"What an idiot!"

The bearded man slung the Nile woman over his shoulder and mumbled as he walked away.

"We agreed, you get this woman first!"

"When it's time for this Eastern woman, I get to go first!"

"I put in a lot of effort when capturing them, you can't always be first!"

The bald man warned.

"Got it, got it. There are too few women this time, probably won't even get through one round!"

"Whoever goes first has the advantage!"

The bearded man said, tossing the Nile woman aside.

The bald man, brandishing his gun, herded the remaining foreigners out.

Then, he slammed the door shut heavily.

These foreigners who were taken out had their mouths sewn shut, only able to emit muffled cries through their throats.

The suturing was accompanied by heart-wrenching screams.

Soon, the bald man's laughter could be heard:

"This way, they won't be too noisy, they can feed the zombies, and they won't attract too many zombies!"

"I'm truly a genius. The boss will praise me when he knows!"

A short while later, sounds from outside could be heard again.

Without looking, everyone knew what these Westerners were doing to the Nile woman.

The sounds caused Bai Hanlin and the others inside the restroom to feel their hearts pounding.

Everyone knew that the bearded man was now dealing with the Nile woman.

His wife would be next...

To be violated by these beasts.

The thought made Bai Hanlin's eyes blaze with fury.

But there was nothing he could do.

"Husband..."

His wife, tense, reached out and tightly gripped Bai Hanlin's hand.

It was cold, chillingly cold.

"You'll be fine. I won't let anything happen to you!"

"It's okay, nothing will happen, absolutely nothing!"

"We'll definitely get through this!"

"We definitely will!"

"When we reach the military base, I still want to eat your home-cooked meals!"

"We will survive in the apocalypse!"

Bai Hanlin held his wife, repeating these words.

Now, only this fragile belief, on the verge of shattering, sustained him.

The Nile woman woke up and let out a scream.

However, she was about to endure even more painful torment.

No matter how much she cursed or condemned, it would be of no use.

The Westerners' laughter grew even more frenzied.

It constantly battered the fragile hearts of Bai Hanlin's family.

"I don't want to become like her..."

His wife whispered, sobbing softly.

"Worst case, if they come in again, we'll fight them!"

"Even if I die, I won't let them lay a finger on you!"

Bai Hanlin gritted his teeth and declared.

However, these words lacked conviction.

The fate of the Nile man just now was evident.

There were at least six people outside with guns.

The camp had dozens more.

Escape was utterly impossible.

Let alone protecting anyone...

This was just self-deception!

"Sigh... At this point, I have a method. It might prevent all of us from dying here!"

Bai Hanlin's father, Bai Jianjun, suddenly sighed, then said in a low voice.
