Chapter 632: Ultimate Move

"Could this be a Magic Artifact?" someone exclaimed in surprise.

"No, this must be a Spiritual Artifact," declared the Witch King, his eyes gleaming with growing greed.

In the entire Witch Sect, there existed only one Spiritual Artifact, and it was not to be used lightly. Yet Lin Mo now possessed a Spiritual Artifact. If they could acquire it, it might elevate their Sect's power to a new level, perhaps even allowing a return to Huaxia.

Lin Mo gave them no time to react, as he suddenly brandished his sword, bringing down a silver Light Curtain from the sky, slashing towards an elder.

The elder's expression changed drastically. A shield formed from the Black Fog around him, blocking in front, and he quickly formed several spells, summoning a small flag and spewing a mouthful of black air onto it.

The flag spun rapidly in the air, soon transforming into a three-zhang-long banner, shielding him.

However, almost instantly, Lin Mo's sword light arrived, shredding the Black Fog shield, and the elder's face changed drastically.

Yet the speed of the sword light did not slow in the slightest, cutting directly through the flag behind, slicing the elder in two before he could react.

Along with the elder, his Divine Soul also perished with the strike of the sword.

One strike, and both man and soul were destroyed!

The other elders and the Witch King immediately showed grave expressions.

"To emerge from the Death Forest, he truly should not be underestimated," uttered the Witch King, his face tense.

Inside the hotel, Ji Tianyuan, Yan Guming, and others were already dumbstruck. Watching Lin Mo and others float in the air, like Immortals, casually unleashing dazzling sword lights.

The remaining elders hastily brought forth their Treasures, rapidly forming various Defensive Spells, fearful that Lin Mo's next strike might target them.

"Witch King, Lin Mo still possesses many Treasures on him. If we could kill him, it would greatly benefit our Sect."

Suddenly, beside the Witch King, a blurry figure appeared, standing beside him respectfully.

Lin Mo saw the figure—it was the soul of the former Sect Hierarch from the Black Witch Sect who had previously escaped from his grasp. It was as he had guessed; indeed, the Hierarch had fled to Myanmar to seek refuge with the Ghost Witch followers.

Initially, the Witch King was somewhat hesitant; killing an enemy at the cost of significant self-damage, especially given his own Realm, made him reluctant to risk his own path of Cultivation.

But hearing the words of the former Black Witch Sect Hierarch, the last traces of the Witch King's hesitation vanished, his gaze turning icy as he fixed it on Lin Mo.

The Hierarch had already informed him about Lin Mo.

Despite his young age, the teenager possessed numerous Treasures. Killing him and seizing those Treasures would bring tremendous benefits to both him and the Ghost Witch Sect.

"It seems today I really have no choice but to kill you."

As he spoke, the Witch King's hand flipped, revealing a palm-sized black flag, inscribed with ancient, mysterious runes.

"A Low Grade Spiritual Device?"

Lin Mo hadn't expected the Witch King to possess a Spiritual Artifact. Judging by the aura of the Artifact, it seemed weak, perhaps usable only once or twice.

The Witch King, when sacrificing this small flag, also showed a hint of pain on his face. This Ghost Banner was the treasured symbol of the Ghost Witch Sect. However, it had been damaged in a great battle in the hands of the previous Witch King, and it took decades to barely repair it to completeness. Yet, it could only be used once more before it needed nurturing again.

Thus, the Witch King would absolutely not use this Ghost Banner unless it was a critical moment.

But if he could kill Lin Mo, he would obtain the Spiritual Artifact on him, along with many Secret Techniques and Elixirs. Compared to those, what was the Ghost Banner?

The moment the Ghost Banner was sacrificed, the sky and earth changed color; the clouds above churned like boiling water.

From those clouds came the wails of ghosts and howls of wolves, making the entire city feel as if doomsday had arrived.

The Ghost Banner also instantly transformed into a size of about thirty feet, flying into the sky. Countless Ghost Witches flew out from it, turning the entire sky into a hellish scene, raising one's hairs in fright.

Everyone knew that with their strength, they had no chance of fighting against Lin Mo. Only the Witch King had the power to contest him.

After the Witch King sacrificed the Ghost Banner Seal, he chanted under his breath and formed a spell with his hands. Immediately, more Ghost Witches surged rapidly from within the banner, crowding the sky and earth; their roars alone were chilling to the bone.

Rows of Ghost Witches perched in the sky, emitting terrifying roars, their gazes malevolently fixed on Lin Mo.

The Witch King, controlling the Ghost Banner, naturally could direct these Ghost Witches to lock onto his enemy.

Suddenly, these Ghost Witches surged together, forming a 'black' tornado, violently rushing towards Lin Mo from the sky. Although these Ghost Witches didn't cause physical damage, they could injure one's soul and Divine Sense.

Once the soul was destroyed, all that would be left was a body.

"Light Sword Shadow." In Lin Mo's hand, the Xuanyuan Sword leapt into the air, emitting an icy blue light, blossoming like a flower. From the center, it split into dozens of Sword Light Shadows, which then floated in the air and split again, forming hundreds of icy blue Light Swords.

These icy blue Light Swords turned into trailing sword shadows, shooting towards the black 'tornado' like a stream.

The Light Swords hit the 'tornado', producing metallic clashing sounds.

However, they didn't completely destroy the 'tornado'. By the time the tornado arrived, it had several 'holes' pierced by the Light Swords, but these holes, the moment they were destroyed by the Ghost Witches, immediately saw new Evil Ghosts rush in to fill them.

The Witch King stood confidently to the side; the Ghost Banner wasn't like ordinary Spiritual Artifacts. This was a Magic Treasure consecrated by generations of the Witch Sect, harboring tens of thousands of Evil Ghosts. To completely annihilate it might well exhaust a person to death.

Even if Lin Mo was strong, once the tornado swept over his body, his soul would be utterly devoured by the Evil Ghosts.

At that point, Lin Mo would leave behind nothing but a shell, possibly even to be turned into a Puppet by the Witch King.

Suddenly, Lin Mo, holding the Xuanyuan Sword, stepped into the air and surged forward, directly charging towards the black 'tornado' in the sky.

"He's asking for death."

The Witch King, watching this scene, was first taken aback, then let out a cold snort, his lips curling into a sinister smile.

The other elders of the Witch Sect also showed delight; Lin Mo was actually not thinking clearly, still trying to break through the tornado?

Lin Mo, gripping the Xuanyuan Sword, his body overflowing with True Qi, violently charged into the tornado and instantly disappeared from sight.

Between heaven and earth, only about a sixty-foot-long black tornado remained, sweeping from the sky to the ground. This tornado was conjured from the aggrieved souls of countless Evil Ghosts, their cries and howls resonating throughout the city.

The moment Lin Mo charged into it, he vanished without a trace.
