"There's no dissatisfaction, as long as those people are taught."
Mao Xiaofang left the room, preparing to teach the security team how to catch ghosts and zombies the next day.
He was only half-trained and had never taught anyone to catch ghosts or zombies, so he was inevitably a little nervous.
"Master, your disciple takes his leave first."
Shi Jian smiled knowingly as Mao Xiaofang left, thinking his disciple was ultimately too young.
The task at the Haunted Academy could be used as a training exercise to temper his good disciple.
Shi Jian, who chose to take it easy, spent the next few days leisurely strolling around.
He thought he could continue to take it easy, but unexpectedly, the police officer felt that just talking was not enough and that practical exercises were needed.
"Practical exercises, are you serious? Are you sure you want practical exercises?"
"Uh, Daoist Master Shi, I don't think we need to use real zombies. It's enough to have someone pretend to be one."
Hearing the police officer's words, Shi Jian turned to look at Ah Wei behind him.
After all, the latter was idle and hung around him for food and drink every day.
Secondly, Ah Wei had seen zombies and knew how to perfectly replicate them.
Such a person would be most suitable to play a zombie.
However, Ah Wei's physique was a bit... hard to describe.
He had only gotten a little thinner from doing this and catching zombies every day.
With a little disguise, playing a zombie should not be a problem.
"Master, can I refuse?"
"Look at you, you're daydreaming, doing nothing all day."
After confirming the candidate, Shi Jian began to prepare a Qing Dynasty official uniform, false teeth, and false nails for him, doing his best to make Ah Wei appear more realistic.
"Master, I'm not a real zombie. What if those people hit me?"
Ah Wei was extremely scared. It was not easy to play a fake zombie.
Zombies were as tough as iron walls; they could take a few punches without any issues.
But he was a fake zombie. If that security team went crazy and landed a few punches, he might reveal his true nature on the spot.
"It was my oversight. I'll go find some corpse oil and armor for your protection."
Time passed quickly until evening. To ensure Ah Wei's safety, Shi Jian found him a suit of iron armor and some corpse oil.
Ah Wei put on everything and applied zombie makeup to his face, looking very much like a recently reanimated zombie.
The police officer beside him immediately gave a thumbs-up and praised him.
"Ah Wei, your master has high hopes for you. If this works out, I'll take you to a Western restaurant for a big meal next time."
Shi Jian was essentially making promises to Ah Wei to get him to play the zombie.
This was the most effective method; seeing hope would provide motivation.
"Western food? I think no one is more suitable to play a zombie than I am."
After saying that, Ah Wei hopped and skipped towards the security team's location.
Seeing Ah Wei's appearance, everyone felt much more at ease.
With armor for protection, they didn't have to worry about Ah Wei being attacked, unless someone hit him in the face.
"Master, will junior brother be alright?"
Mao Xiaofang looked at Ah Wei's appearance, still feeling a little uneasy.
What if the security team pulled out firearms and shot Ah Wei a few times? Wouldn't the funeral be held the next day?
"Don't worry, I've confiscated all the weapons of the security team."
Shi Jian and the police officer sat in their chairs, leisurely sipping tea, showing no concern for the safety of the security team or Ah Wei.
Meanwhile, Ah Wei hopped and skipped to the security team's bathhouse, giving everyone a big surprise.
The security team, who were washing themselves, looked at the suddenly appearing zombie in confusion, momentarily at a loss.
"Z-z-zombie!"
Some security guards quickly dropped their towels, ran out half-naked, and fled madly.
Among them were some security guards who were not fully dressed, shouting for help as they fled frantically.
The security guards who couldn't escape in time could only hold their breath, trying not to be discovered by the zombie.
Ah Wei sniffed the air in front of everyone like a seasoned performer, revealing his fangs.
"I can't stand it. Why do zombies have bad breath?"
The unbearable security guards threw their towels at Ah Wei's face and fled outside frantically.
The remaining people, taking advantage of the zombie's momentary lapse, all escaped the bathhouse, not even having time to put on their clothes.
The crowd wanted to escape the Haunted Academy, but they found that the academy's main gate had been locked.
"Who the hell locked the main gate? I will never forgive this person."
Immediately after, the police officer in another building of the academy sneezed several times in a row.
"It seems I've caught a cold. I need to drink some hot tea."
Little did they know, the security team in the Haunted Academy had insulted the police officer's entire ancestral lineage.
"Why are you blocking the door? Hurry up and open it, the zombie is coming!"
Dozens of people were blocking the academy's main gate, while some security guards hid in other places.
"The main gate is locked, and I want to open it too!"
"Stop crowding, hurry up and run upstairs, or the zombie will catch up."
Just as the crowd was about to leave the main gate, Ah Wei caught up, hopping and skipping towards them.
Just as the security team despaired, a fart sound echoed throughout the entire Haunted Academy.
"Zombies fart? Master didn't mention that."
Ah Wei forced himself to remain calm, baring his fangs to intimidate the security guards in front of him.
The dozens of people, seeing the zombie's fangs, immediately forgot about the fart.
The few with no way out could only compete to see who could hold their breath longer.
"You beast, witness the power of my willow branch."
A man, holding a willow branch, rushed to the front of the zombie and whipped it with the branch repeatedly.
A few minutes later, the branches on the man's body were broken, and the zombie showed no signs of injury.
"Idiot, that's a zombie, not a ghost. Why are you using a willow branch? You need a peach wood sword."
Ah Wei stretched out his black hands, wanting to grab the man's neck.
However, the man reacted extremely quickly, threw down the willow branch, and vanished in a flash.
With no target, Ah Wei had no choice but to turn his attention to the security guards at the main gate.
"Alas, my zombie friend, let's talk nicely. If you want to suck blood, I'll get you some rooster blood and black dog blood right away, and let you drink your fill."
"That's right, that's right! And chicken, dog meat, lamb, all kinds of meat. Just let us go."
Dozens of security guards used their eloquent tongues to try and communicate with the zombie.
Ah Wei's intelligence seemed to be greatly insulted, and he lunged at the security guards in front of him, gnashing his teeth and flailing.
However, because of the iron armor he was wearing, his speed was too slow for anyone to react.
"Oh my, this zombie seems a bit slow. Everyone, run quickly!"
A few keen-eyed individuals discovered the zombie's weakness and slipped away from him.
Helpless, Ah Wei continued his pursuit.
He looked around and saw no one, so he quickly switched back to his normal form, carrying the Qing Dynasty official uniform, and walked up the stairs to the second floor of the academy.
