A little scoundrel

Chapter 255 Bai Ye's Two Conditions

“Wait! Mr. Bai…”

Harris was in a panic.

Seeing Bai Ye’s icy gaze, Jack retreated continuously, instinctively drawing a gun from his waist to resist.

Suddenly, an unknown terrifying force pressed down on him. Unable to bear the pain, he cried out and knelt heavily on the ground.

Then, his gun-holding hand bent uncontrollably, retracted, the muzzle lifted, and pointed at his own forehead.

“No… don’t!”

Jack was scared out of his wits. His full resistance was useless. He felt his index finger tightening on the trigger.

The aura of death emanated from the gun’s muzzle. Suddenly, a chill ran down his lower body, and a stream of yellowish-brown liquid flowed onto the floor.

“I was wrong, don’t kill me, no…”

Despite Jack’s pathetic pleas and crocodile tears, the deafening gunshot sounded mercilessly.

The fearsome power of the demon-breaking bullet shattered Jack’s entire head, splattering blood and brains everywhere.

“Ah!”

The representative from the Britannian Empire, splashed with gore, stumbled backward in terror, nearly falling.

“Jack!” Harris’s heart was filled with dread. He glanced at Bai Ye, unsure of what to do. Was he truly helpless against him?

Suddenly, a wisp of flame shot up from Bai Ye’s palm. Harris and William were filled with fear and despair. If Bai Ye decided to attack them, they would surely die tonight!

However, Bai Ye tossed the wisp of flame onto Jack’s corpse. In an instant, Jack’s body was burned to ashes, along with the sickening blood!

The mutated warriors from Hanguo, the remaining Western bodyguards, everyone held their breath cautiously. No matter how scared they were, they dared not make a sound. They knew that remaining unnoticed was the safest course of action.

Even though they were bodyguards, if the terrifying demon in front of them decided to kill the three major chaebols or the remaining two representatives, they would not intervene! Because it would be utterly pointless…

“Disaster-level monsters, in your eyes, are perhaps the ceiling of combat power, the ultimate limit of worldly strength.”

“You thought that by possessing the means to kill them, you could negotiate with us as equals.”

“Heh.”

Bai Ye spoke coldly, then suddenly waved his hand. Harris and the others instinctively recoiled, trembling so hard they almost fell to the ground, thinking Bai Ye was about to eliminate them.

However, no terrifying ‘magic’ manifested. Instead, a moving image appeared out of thin air in the center of the conference room.

A dimly lit basement, vast and empty. an ugly humanoid figure was struck by countless lightning bolts, disappearing in a cloud of dust.

Then, the ugly figure transformed into a terrifying toad amidst the dust.

“Disaster-level monster?” Seeing the monster’s ability to transform, Harris and the others immediately understood, watching in horror.

The scene was Bai Ye’s battle with the Flame Toad in a certain shrine in Tokyo, R Country.

When they saw Bai Ye casually unleash an that created a mushroom cloud, leveling the entire shrine, they were shocked, their hearts skipping a beat. They felt that this casual move was no less powerful than a demon-slaying missile!

Then, seeing the terrifying flames Bai Ye unleashed later, engulfing the entire shrine in fire, reducing even the S-class monster to ashes, Harris and the others felt suffocated.

The Disaster-level monster killed by the Western Alliance had nearly the entire alliance’s strength involved, coupled with favorable timing and circumstances, before they finally succeeded in killing it.

But Bai Ye seemed to have killed this toad monster with little effort. And, to be honest, this toad monster was stronger than the one they had killed…

“Are all your demon-slaying missiles stored in the sky?” Bai Ye muttered, looking up.

Harris and William felt extremely uneasy.

“What… what do you want?”

“As I said, I want to borrow a few to play with.” Bai Ye said seriously, walking to the conference table, pulling out a chair, and sitting down.

“Now, we can talk.”

Harris and William looked at Bai Ye in astonishment. Talk now?

They exchanged glances. Despite feeling immensely wronged, they still sat down.

“Like this…” Bai Ye smiled gentlemanly, “Go back and tell the Western Alliance that I have two requests. First, grant me broadcasting rights in the Western world. This is very important.”

“Second, send me a few copies of your demon-breaking weapons, bullets, missiles, cold weapons, and such. My Demon City supplies are running low, and I suspect they might be useful.”

Hearing Bai Ye’s second request, Harris and William’s faces turned ashen. They couldn’t agree to the second point. But they dared not refuse, knowing that a refusal on the spot would likely lead them to join Taylor and Jack in a game of mahjong…

However, Bai Ye’s next words made them unable to hold back.

Bai Ye said, “Might as well give me the data materials and blueprints, so I don’t have to ask you for them again when I run out!”

“This isn’t…”

Harris couldn’t help but interject, but before he could say ‘possible,’ William, beside him, grabbed him in terror.

If you want to die, don’t drag me with you! William, who hadn’t spoken much, exclaimed anxiously, “Mr. Bai, this, this is beyond our authority.”

Bai Ye raised an eyebrow and asked, “So, do you want me to personally visit your Western Alliance?”

William felt a wave of pressure. “No, no need. If possible, please just relay your words back.”

Harris, having recovered, also said, “We will report truthfully. I believe the presidents and senators will seriously consider your conditions.” The alliance would most likely not agree, but for now, survival was paramount!

“Then that’s fine.” Bai Ye smiled. “Pleasant cooperation. You may leave now!”

William and Harris blinked in surprise. “We can really go back?” The police officers behind them couldn’t help but start moving their legs.

Bai Ye asked, “Do you want me to see you off?”

Harris and William quickly shook their heads, got up to say goodbye, and with the police officers, they fled as fast as they could.

Seeing Harris escape, the chairman of the Samsung chaebol and the others swallowed hard, unsure of what to do and filled with dread.

“Mr. Bai, what about us…”
