Chapter 387 Pure Sacred Fluid

As Elf King Clarence launched his assault, the sky was filled with dancing willow branches, their momentum unstoppable as they swept towards Bai Ye from all directions.

The Demon Kings' expressions shifted drastically. They swiftly retreated from the battlefield, fearing collateral damage. The aura emanating from each willow branch was no less potent than Bai Ye's recent attacks. Being caught in the crossfire would lead to eternal regret!

Bai Ye felt a sense of urgency, not because of the Elf King's terrifying offense, but because of the lost prestige points. Such an opportunity might not come again.

He channeled mana into the surrounding defensive ‘Eight Extremes Fire Wheels’ to bolster their defenses, while simultaneously casting another high-level magic.

"Flame Cage!"

Outside the small island, lines of fire weaved through the air and across the ground, as if countless invisible, nimble hands were knitting them. In the blink of an eye, a colossal fire cage formed, encompassing the towering Primal Demon Willow.

The demons in the outer city stared in disbelief. Within the cage, everyone was more terrifying than the last! In that moment, they felt fortunate not to reside in this once-yearned-for sanctuary…

"What does he mean by this? Does he intend to keep us all here?"

"Arrogant!"

"Is he afraid of Lord Clarence and wants to keep us all here as shields?"

"He wishes! Let's all attack together and break it open!"

The Demon Kings shouted defiantly, but their hearts were already filled with dread towards Bai Ye. They exerted all their might, unleashing frequent ultimate attacks upon the fire cage.

Boom, boom, boom!!!

Violent explosions erupted on every side of the fire cage, deforming the fiery lines. These Demon Kings' attacks did have some effect, but it was rather slow.

"Thump, thump, thump!!!"

On the other side, the demon willow's strikes connected with Bai Ye's Eight Extremes Fire Wheels, sending ripples of terrifying energy perturbations through the air.

"So strong!!!"

The Demon Kings, glancing back inadvertently, felt a chill run down their spines. They knew the strength of Elf King Clarence, but they hadn't expected this enemy to so easily withstand the Elf King's attacks.

Was he truly invincible?

"No, they're loosening, it seems they can't hold!"

To their relief, as more and more demon willow branches struck, the fiery wheels began to disperse.

Bai Ye frowned slightly. While the destructive power of his flame element was considerable, its defensive capabilities were indeed lacking. If he could use another element, such as earth, there would be no pressure at all.

However, Bai Ye was not yet ready to reveal his full hand.

Since defense was insufficient, then… offense would be full force!

"Flame Fire – Heaven and Earth Convergence!"

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!!

Rings of crimson runes appeared on the demon willow, spanning from the ground to the sky's furthest reaches. Each rune circle was almost the size of the island itself! This was the effect of Bai Ye's full-power advanced magic. The spectacle far surpassed his previous battle against the King-level Half-Demon. Even from a distance, the demons in the outer city felt suffocated.

As adjacent rune circles began to rotate in opposite directions, the arrogant and confident Elf King grew uneasy. He, who was once considered invincible, had thought this one massive strike would end Bai Ye's life. Yet, to his surprise, Bai Ye was not only dealing with him but also launching attacks against their Demon Kings!

"Damn it!" The Elf King cursed and immediately began chanting again, preparing to strike.

"Endless life, reborn from the source… Verdant Guard!"

The moment Bai Ye's magic activated, patches of tender grass sprouted around the demon willow.

Boom!!!

The magic took effect. Blazing pillars of fire shot from the sky and ground. As they passed through the rune circles, the temperature of the fire pillars noticeably intensified!

The Demon Kings trapped within the fire cage were utterly terrified. They pressed themselves against the edges of the cage, desperate to avoid the heat wave. Although the fire lines also emitted high temperatures, they could endure it!

"Rumble!!!"

In the next moment, two terrifying fire pillars struck the fragile green turf. Countless blades of grass instantly turned to ash!

Just as the turf was about to be burned through, the grass unexpectedly began to regrow at an incredible speed, blocking the fire pillars outside the demon willow!

"They blocked it!"

"As expected of Lord Clarence!"

"Long live Lord Clarence!"

The demons erupted in cheers.

In a tall building outside the city, the other two Holy Kings of the monsters and half-demons breathed a sigh of relief. They had almost intervened moments ago.

"I didn't expect his strength to be on par with Lord Clarence!"

"Although it's surprising, this is his limit!"

"Only Lord Clarence can hold him back. With the assistance of our many Demon Kings, if we wear him down, he definitely won't be able to escape. Now, we just have to wait for his companions to appear!"

The two exchanged silent messages, covertly gathering their power while diligently concealing their auras, lest their positions be revealed.

Boom!!

A terrifying explosion suddenly echoed from within Sky Tower City. The world-ending aura caused the two Holy Kings, who had just relaxed, to exchange glances, their faces changing.

On the island in the center of the lake, Bai Ye looked at the demons in the outer perimeter celebrating too soon and immediately unleashed another round of magic.

"Heatwave Tide!"

"Sky Devouring Fire Dragon!"

"Ah!"

The Demon Kings were plunged into despair as sudden screams echoed from the air and ground. The demons who had regained their confidence and intended to surround Bai Ye with the Elf King immediately abandoned this idea.

Focusing all their effort on defending against Bai Ye's occasional sneak attacks offered a slim chance of survival. However, ignoring everything and joining the Elf King to eliminate this terrifying enemy would likely result in a near-certain death!

With so many Demon Kings present, why should they be the one to take the risk? The vast majority of these predatory demons lacked such high aspirations!

"Does this guy have an entire ocean of mana in his body?" Even while on the opposing side, the Elf King was astounded.

With such immense mana and a powerful physique, how could he cast magic almost continuously?

If he were allowed to escape today, the consequences…

The Elf King felt the pressure. Mana surged within him, and his wings emitted a blinding, intense light. A terrifying vortex of energy condensed before him, instantly eclipsing the surrounding world.

Bai Ye raised his hand, forming a scorching fireball before him, filled with dreadful flame power.

Their eyes met, and killing intent permeated the air.

Boom—Boom!!!

Two energy beams, one red and one white, shot out rapidly from in front of them, each aimed at destroying the other, devoid of any emotion!

"Rumbling!!!"

An unimaginably terrifying explosion, too bright to look at directly, erupted. The dreadful energy waves completely annihilated the buildings on the ground, and the remaining ruins, scorched by hellfire, also vanished. Even the Flame Cage cast by Bai Ye was breached, with several holes torn through it!

The Demon Kings on the outer perimeter, the stronger ones spewing blood from their mouths, while the weaker ones were blown away, leaving trails of blood mist in the sky, their fates unknown!

However, the mysterious Sky Tower remained standing firm.

As the explosion ended, only two figures remained standing on the ground and in the sky: Elf King Clarence and Bai Ye. Both, however, had blood trickling from their lips.

"You are strong," the Elf King gazed at Bai Ye and spoke, shedding all his arrogance. He could do nothing more to a powerhouse of this caliber!

"What is your name?"

Bai Ye wiped the blood from his lips, retrieved several bottles of mana potion, and drank them down in quick succession under the Elf King's astonished gaze, then replied seriously, "Wo Shi Ni Ba Ba!"

The Elf King's eyes fixed on the bottles in Bai Ye's hand, and his pupils quivered. "Pure Holy Liquid!"

"You actually have so much Pure Holy Liquid!" the Elf King's voice, filled with surprise and shock, carried a deep longing and envy. He finally understood why this fellow's mana seemed inexhaustible. Pure Holy Liquid was a sacred nectar that only beings of the highest order were qualified to use!

Could this kid know the true origin of this 'glucose'? Seeing the Elf King's envious and jealous gaze, Bai Ye immediately waved his hand and said, "What Pure Holy Liquid? This is just ordinary glucose water from our Blue Star."

To his surprise, the Elf King's already restrained gaze flickered with shock and greed upon hearing Bai Ye's deception. That world considered Pure Holy Liquid mere ordinary water? And in such vast quantities! Truly enviable!

"It seems your strength was built up through a large amount of Pure Holy Liquid?" The Elf King narrowed his eyes, a trace of respect gone from his gaze.

"You must have quite a bit more on you, right?"

Seeing his expression, Bai Ye knew exactly what he was thinking. With a playful smile, he sincerely nodded and said, "Just a little."

"Hand it over!" The Elf King directly attacked, unleashing another terrifying magic spell at Bai Ye. The now-free demon willow also swayed its branches to strike.

Boom, boom, boom!!!

The small city, which had been silent for less than three seconds, was once again filled with destructive, violent energy!

Inside the Sky Tower, the Snake Woman listened to the terrifying energy explosions outside, causing the Sky Tower itself to shake incessantly. She felt uneasy.

She had witnessed many grand events, but this was the first time she had encountered something so terrifying.

After searching through several floors and countless rooms, she finally arrived at the Diviner's chamber. Fully prepared, ready to complete her assassination mission even at the cost of her life, she crept into the room. Seeing the Diviner collapsed on the floor, clinging to his last breath, she froze.

But the next moment, she reacted, drawing a dagger-like demonic artifact and advancing stealthily…
