Chapter 713 - 713 713 Lets Just Start with These

Chapter 713: Chapter 713: Let’s Just Start with These Chapter 713: Chapter 713: Let’s Just Start with These The waitstaff at Fuman Building had grown quite familiar with the couple, Su Yunjin and Gu Ya, mistaking their arrival together as another visit to sell items to Manager Liu.

Ding Wang approached with a smile to greet them.

“Brother Gu, Sister-in-law, you’re here? Manager Liu is upstairs! If you’re here to see him, you can just go straight up,” he said.

Ding Wang thought that Su Yunjin and Gu Ya were once again at Fuman Building to sell goods since that had been the purpose of their visits in the past, so it wasn’t out of the ordinary for him to assume so.

“Brother Ding, my husband and I aren’t here to see Manager Liu today, nor are we here to sell anything,” Su Yunjin informed him with a smile.

Ding Wang immediately looked puzzled.

Without thinking, he blurted out, “Sister-in-law, what are you here for then?” After saying that, it seemed as though Ding Wang suddenly realized something.

He quickly reacted.

He smacked his own mouth with his hand. With an honest laugh, Ding Wang said, “Brother Gu, Sister-in-law, look at me, I don’t know how to speak properly. I hope you won’t take it to heart.”

If they weren’t at Fuman Building to sell, then it must be to eat.

“Brother Gu, Sister-in-law, are the two of you here to dine at Fuman Building today?” Ding Wang asked with a smile. Su Yunjin and Gu Ya certainly wouldn’t hold a grudge over what had just occurred.

After all, Ding Wang’s words were unintended.

Plus, Ding Wang was a decent fellow. So, with a smile, Su Yunjin casually asked him, “Brother Ding, my husband and I are indeed here to eat at Fuman Building today. What delicious dishes do you have? We’ll have one of everything.”

Today they had earned quite a bit of silver.

And so Su Yunjin was ready to spend generously.

“Sister-in-law, we have plenty of tasty dishes at Fuman Building. Why don’t you pick a seat first, and then I can introduce you to some of our best dishes?” he suggested.

Su Yunjin nodded.

Ding Wang led Su Yunjin and Gu Ya to a room upstairs, selecting a fine spot for them.

It was near a window where they could not only enjoy the street view but also observe the bustling vendors and, most interestingly, a view of a small river next to them.

Boats were also passing to and fro on the river.

Su Yunjin, looking out the window at the scene below, agreed the spot was nice. Ding Wang, with a smile, recommended some of Fuman Building’s best-selling dishes to her.

Who would have thought Fuman Building had prawns and crabs? Su Yunjin was interested in both, so she ordered a portion of each, crispy garlic prawns, spicy crabs, as well as braised pork feet, deep-fried sweet potato balls, eight-treasure duck, steamed fish, chilled pork head meat, and shredded pork stomach in sauce.

Sitting to the side, Gu Ya stopped her as she was about to continue ordering. “Yunjin, that’s enough. We have plenty to eat with what we’ve already ordered.”

Su Yunjin was in good spirits today and had been generous with her choices. Without giving it much thought, she looked at Gu Ya, realizing that ordering too much would indeed be a waste. After all, what she had already chosen was enough to fill a table.

So Su Yunjin did not continue to order.

She turned to Ding Wang with a smile.

“Brother Ding, that will do! My husband and I will have just these dishes.” The dishes the young wife had selected were mostly spicy or fried, and Gu Ya was concerned she might get thirsty.

He also ordered an additional serving of fresh soup.

The fresh soup at Fuman Building was made with pork bone broth and seasonal vegetables, making it both savory and fragrant.
