Tang Si narrowed his dark, fathomless eyes and said, word for word, "I like playing with a few people. Do you like it too?"
He knew Zhao Wuyan was wild, but he hadn't expected her to be so unrestrained at her core.
When he first fell for her, he had loved her straightforward personality. Now, her directness was what disgusted him the most. "When you married that foreigner, did you play even more outrageous games?"
"Jeffrey wasn't... wasn't the kind of person you imagine." Zhao Wuyan saw that Tang Si was angry. She looked terrified, somewhat fearful of the man before her.
His devilishly charming yet unrestrained face was frighteningly gloomy, like a sky filled with dark clouds, presaging a storm.
"Not that kind of person?"
Tang Si raised an eyebrow, his fingertip holding her chin. "Then tell me, what kind of person was he?"
As the past was brought up, the anger suppressed in Tang Si's heart for years surged forth. He was filled with hostility, his gaze towards Zhao Wuyan like a layer of frost.
"I... I..."
Zhao Wuyan's chin felt painfully gripped, as if her bones were about to shatter. The pain brought tears to her eyes involuntarily. "Si Bing, let's... let's not talk about the past anymore, okay?"
She reached out and tugged at his sleeve. "I'm sorry, it was my fault. I was too reckless and shameless today. Please forgive me, okay?"
If she hadn't been 'seeking pleasure' with him night after night, feeling so exhilarated, she wouldn't have dared to be so bold as to come find him in broad daylight wearing only a dress.
Before coming, Zhao Wuyan had been filled with a mix of apprehension and excitement.
She had thought Tang Si would enjoy this kind of 'thrill,' but it seemed she had still crossed his bottom line.
Now that she had calmed down, Zhao Wuyan admitted that her actions were indeed undignified and would make her a laughingstock if they got out, bringing shame to the Tang family's reputation.
Seeing her pale face, her lips trembling uncontrollably, Tang Si finally calmed down. He released his grip on her hand and said coldly, "Get out!"
"Okay, I... I'll leave now."
Zhao Wuyan stood up, hastily tidying her dress. Fortunately, the zipper was below her thighs. Even though the skirt below the zipper was torn, she wouldn't be exposed when standing or walking.
She looked at Tang Si with trepidation, then cautiously left the office, departing in a flustered state.
After she left, Tang Si directly threw the thermos on the desk into the trash can.
He stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, a cigarette between his fingers, and smoked. Suddenly, his brow furrowed. He raised his hand to sniff his suit jacket and detected a faint perfume. He immediately took off the suit and tossed it onto the sofa nearby.
Walking to his desk, Tang Si picked up the phone and dialed the extension. "Su Jun, send over a change of clothes."
He needed to take a shower to get rid of the scent.
Not long after, his assistant, Su Jun, brought a set of new clothes.
Tang Si took the clothes to the small bedroom in his office and took a shower, changing into the new attire.
An hour later.
Knock, knock, knock.
Su Jun knocked on the office door and pushed it open. "Boss, the men downstairs have an update. They said..." Su Jun looked up at Tang Si, assessing his expression. "They said they saw Miss Shi with Yuan Wei."
Tang Si had a cigarette between his lips, his teeth lightly biting the filter. The cigarette trembled, and ash fell.
A smile played on his devilishly charming face, but it didn't reach his eyes, instead exuding a chilling aura.
"Where?"
After a long silence, Tang Si finally asked coldly.
"Yuan Wei's hometown, Qingfeng County."
Su Jun answered truthfully.
However, he noticed his boss's expression was unusually grim, and he felt a chill run down his spine, a sense of unease.
