Chapter 16 The Little Boy Belongs to Jin Ye's Family

The next day.

Su Ding had just finished filming a commercial in the morning and was notified in the afternoon to go to a new film crew for an audition.

In the car, Xiao Yuan briefly explained the situation. The casting for this large-scale historical drama series had originally been finalized, but a supporting actress playing a maid had been in a car accident, and Su Ding was asked to fill in at the last minute.

Upon arriving at the set, the director was already filming another scene.

Xiao Yuan got the script from a crew member and asked Su Ding to familiarize herself quickly with the segment she would be acting in soon.

Soon, Su Ding took the stage, adjusted to her acting state, and began her performance.

Her acting skills were honed through practice and experience, leaving the director with no room for criticism. He immediately decided to keep her.

"Dingding, well done!" Xiao Yuan stepped forward and whispered congratulations.

This director was very strict with casting; if he didn't approve of the acting, he would absolutely not keep the actor.

Su Ding was also happy and went to the side to rest, as there were no scenes for her.

Suddenly, something tugged at her clothes. At first, she didn't notice, but it was pulled twice more.

She looked down and was stunned when she saw Jin Xiaoxi's face.

"Huh? Why are you here?" Su Ding asked in surprise, naturally picking up the child.

"I came to find you," Jin Xiaoxi said earnestly, not resisting her at all.

"How did you know I was here?" Su Ding was extremely confused.

"I found out. Auntie, can I come find you often from now on?" Jin Xiaoxi asked weakly.

"You can, but you need to tell me how you found out I was here. Do your parents know you came here?"

Su Ding looked at him seriously, hoping he would explain. This was too strange.

Seeing her like this, Jin Xiaoxi felt a little wronged, and tears welled up in his eyes. He sniffled, not wanting to cry.

He tightened his little face, "I know computers and can find everyone's information. I know you are an artist from my father's company, and you would be filming here today."

Su Ding was a bit confused. Why was this child looking for her? Wasn't he supposed to be in school? His father's company?

She continued to ask, "Who is your father?"

Jin Xiaoxi replied, "Jin Ye, the boss of Huangqi Group."

Su Ding froze. Jin Ye's son?! What did he want with her? He wasn't sent to gather information, was he?

This was completely unbelievable.

She asked, "Does your dad know you're here?"

Jin Xiaoxi shook his head. Seeing that Su Ding didn't seem very happy to see him, he felt extremely disappointed.

He held back his tears, "Auntie... you don't want to see me, do you?"

Seeing his pitiable little appearance, Su Ding realized her reaction had been too serious and had scared the child.

Just as she was about to speak, Xiao Yuan suddenly turned around.

"Xiao Rui?" Xiao Yuan called out in surprise.

"Uh, he's not Xiao Rui," Su Ding explained awkwardly. "This is, um, my friend's son."

"What are you joking about? Where did Xiao Rui come from? Wasn't he sent to school this morning?" Xiao Yuan, completely oblivious to Su Ding's serious expression, reached out to pinch "Xiao Rui's" face.

"Go away."

Jin Xiaoxi said coldly, aloofly pushing away Xiao Yuan's outstretched hand and burying his face in Su Ding's embrace.

Xiao Yuan was stunned, on the verge of tears, her heart broken into pieces.

Su Ding patted her, "This really isn't Xiao Rui. Sister Yuan, I'll tell you later. I need to go out for a bit."

With that, she hugged Jin Xiaoxi and walked towards a less crowded area.
