Chapter 482 Delusional Obsession

Generals Duan and Feng immediately lowered their heads, their faces ashen, wishing they could find a crack in the ground to disappear into.

One of the men, dressed more luxuriously, glanced at Generals Feng and Duan and asked, "Have you two switched sides?"

General Feng raised his head, "Your Highness Prince Duan, it is not like that. We are still loyal to the Turen people."

Prince Duan snorted coldly, "So, you wish to ride two horses at once."

General Duan shook his head repeatedly, "No, we do not think that."

Mo Qi suddenly interjected, "What are you here for? If you are here to question our tribesmen, then I will be leaving. It has nothing to do with me anyway."

Prince Duan roared, "Want to leave? How is that possible? You are not leaving today."

Prince Jing said kindly, "Haven't you been looking for us? Now that we are here, why are you in such a hurry to leave?"

Mo Qi chuckled, "If there is anything for me here, I naturally cannot leave. Seeing how you were acting as if no one else was present, I thought there was nothing for me here."

"Nothing for you? You killed so many of our tribesmen and almost wiped out the four great families, yet you dismiss it so lightly? Should I call you irresponsible or shameless?" Prince Duan said.

Mo Qi waved his hands repeatedly, "One can eat anything, but one cannot speak carelessly. When did I wipe out the four great families? Do not spread rumors. You cannot ruin my reputation. I am a good person. It's not that I dare not admit it, but if it's not my fault, why should I take the blame?"

General Feng stepped forward, attempting to ease the tension between the two sides, "Your Highness Prince Duan, Your Highness Prince Jing, actually, Master Mo is very good. We do not need to be in a state of open hostility, drawing swords against each other. We can support each other and jointly confront our enemies."

"That can be arranged," Prince Duan said, looking at Mo Qi. "If you become my servant, I will not kill you, and I can even help you out when needed."

General Feng knew that the negotiation had failed, even before it had begun!

He took a step back, fearing he might get splashed with blood.

He estimated that Mo Qi would say something like, "Make you my mount."

To his surprise, Mo Qi did not follow the expected script. He directly refused with action.

He pointed his hand, and the little blood figure immediately flew off General Duan's shoulder.

Prince Duan saw a red shadow flying towards him. "A minor trick," Prince Duan sneered, forming a hand seal. "Formless Earth Traveling Seal!"

A circular ripple surged outwards. The disc was covered with myriad images and runes, evenly distributed along its outer edge. From the edge inwards, there were concentric rings, and between these rings, countless textual runes.

As the entire disc surged forward, the image runes rotated clockwise, while the textual runes rotated counter-clockwise. With their rotation, the light intensified, as if the sun had suddenly unleashed its full power, unstoppable by anything in the world.

However, in the next moment, flecks of red moonlight sprinkled down, falling onto the disc, like exquisite painting suddenly smeared with mud.

The disc continued to rotate, the runes continued to spin, but the light instantly dimmed, like the fangs of a fierce beast suddenly pulled out.

The power previously released by the disc dissipated instantly.

Prince Duan was greatly alarmed, thinking it was just an accident. He hastily formed another hand seal, attempting to make the disc surge with light again. But more and more blood spots continuously sprinkled in. Eventually, the light could no longer ignite, causing the disc to rotate slower and slower.

Then, the little blood figure forcefully penetrated, passing through the disc, shattering it into fragments of light and energy that dissipated.

The little blood figure continued forward, lunging towards Prince Duan.

Prince Duan was terrified out of his wits. Seeing the fierce momentum, he realized he couldn't dodge. He could only swing his fist, channeling his full cultivation, and strike back.

At that moment, he suddenly saw that this little blood figure was only the size of a fist, smaller than a cat. Its little claws extended, looking as cute as a kitten's.

He couldn't help but smile. Dealing with such a tiny thing so seriously, was he overreacting? Was he being overly sensitive?

But how could a punch that had been thrown be retracted?

Regardless of the effect, it had been unleashed. All that remained was to wait and see the outcome.

What a pity for this little thing. His fist, the size of a sandbag, carrying world-destroying divine power, would surely smash its fragile body into pulp upon impact, wouldn't it?

Prince Duan thought this, feeling a sense of smugness.

But immediately, a nameless fear arose in his heart, and he began to break out in a cold sweat. If this little blood figure was so vulnerable, how did it break through? How did it shatter his supreme divine technique?

He almost messed things up!

He almost tried to forcefully retract his fist. Fortunately, his reaction was slow, otherwise the consequences would have been unimaginable! He wouldn't have known how he died.

So, he continued to strike the little blood figure with all his might.

With a "呲" sound, a flash of blood light appeared on Prince Duan's body and then vanished.

Prince Duan felt a chill in his body, and then nothing.

He chuckled, "What is this little kitten playing with me?"

Prince Jing stared at Prince Duan in horror, pointing at his chest, "You, you, your chest!"

From Prince Jing's terrified gaze, Prince Duan seemed to sense something and said nervously, "Wh-what's wrong?"

"Your chest is pierced!"

How terrifying!

Prince Duan dared not look, staring at Prince Jing in horror, "Is, is it true? How do I not feel anything?"

Prince Jing looked at him with great sympathy, "No, I was kidding you."

"You were kidding me, you little..." He lowered his head to look. As his gaze fell upon his chest, his expression froze.

Then, Prince Duan vomited a mouthful of blood and collapsed to the ground.

The little blood figure had eliminated Prince Duan in a single encounter. Prince Jing's fear was imaginable. He suddenly realized that there was a reason why Mo Qi was considered the "surprising piece" in Xing Mian's hand. He had previously thought he could control this chess piece. Now it seemed he had underestimated its lethality.

Prince Jing, leading his men, retreated repeatedly, attempting to escape the scene.

Mo Qi suddenly felt that the little blood figure had stolen his thunder and was a little annoyed. He shouted, "Didn't you want me to be your servant? Don't leave!"

Prince Jing dared not provoke him further. Instead, he took off at high speed towards the distance. The others behind him, chasing after him, became his human shields.

Mo Qi immediately unleashed the Hunyuan Jindou. It flashed a beam of light in the air. The light vanished instantly, and all the Turen people were wiped out without a trace. Prince Jing, running faster, was still brushed by the edge of the Hunyuan Jindou's light and fell towards the ground, not yet having landed.

A flash of light appeared, and a figure pinned him down, falling together onto the ground.

With a thunderous crash, the ground was struck, creating a large pit.

The dust billowed for a long time.

When the dust settled, two figures appeared in the deep pit on the ground.

Mo Qi was pressing down on Prince Jing, holding the Golden Flood Dragon Shears, which were clamped around Prince Jing's neck.

With just a slight exertion, Prince Jing's head would be severed.

But in reality, it was the Golden Flood Dragon Shears desperately trying to shear, while Mo Qi was exerting force outwards, helping him resist.

Prince Jing knew he could not escape his fate and his eyes were filled with despair.

Mo Qi said, "I can give you a way out, but you must become my servant!"

It finally came! Generals Feng and Duan thought simultaneously.

Prince Jing laughed heartily, "I, the noble royalty of the Turen people, how could I become your servant? Do not harbor such foolish dreams."

He had some backbone, Mo Qi thought inwardly, but he had to maintain a ruthless demeanor. "The Turen royalty is nothing. The victor becomes king, the loser becomes a bandit. Moreover, for cultivators, if one does not die for ten thousand years, death is but emptiness. Think about the difference."

Prince Jing sighed, "Actually, most of our Turen people are already servants of the Mei. If we wish to change allegiance, they will not let us go easily. The Mei are a force from beyond the heavens, pervasive, and are eroding every inch of this world..."

Before he could finish speaking, his mouth suddenly tore open, stretching infinitely, as if a cave had appeared in the air. From the cave, black viscous liquid surged out, falling onto the ground and transforming into small ant-shaped insects that scurried away with a "呲" sound.

Prince Jing was left with only a skin on the ground!

Generals Feng and Duan watched with widened, tear-filled eyes, their hearts filled with sorrow.

Mo Qi couldn't help but sigh, "He was a true man! He used his life to tell me about the Mei."

Murong Yanran stepped forward, fearfully grabbing Mo Qi's hand.

Mo Qi felt the sweat in her palm and gently patted her head, "Don't worry, I will help you solve this problem."

Generals Feng and Duan looked at the clothes and skin on the ground, their eyes involuntarily moistening.

Mo Qi glanced at them and said, "It's a pity Prince Jing couldn't finish speaking. I still know very little about the Mei. Perhaps if two more people die, I can understand the whole picture."

The faces of these two turned pale instantly, their heads shaking like rattles, "We know nothing. Don't force us."

Mo Qi sighed, "They are all Turen people, yet the difference between them is so vast."

General Duan's eyelids twitched, "Even ants cling to life, let alone us Turen people."

General Feng immediately agreed, "Yes, we are Turen people."

Mo Qi curled his lips. General Duan immediately put on a fawning smile, "We are not people who fear death, but we cannot die for nothing. Dying like this is too meaningless. Even if you know what that is, what good will it do? What you need is everyone working together to deal with it, not one person fighting all enemies single-handedly."

Murong Yanran thought for a moment and also said, "Husband, please let them go."

Mo Qi chuckled, "I am not forcing them, just scaring them a little. As they said, even if I knew all the information about the Mei, I would be powerless alone. Prince Jing's death was indeed valuable. He told us this is a force from beyond the heavens, and that is enough for now. At least, it is not something I can deal with at the moment. Because I have seen the power of people from the sacred domain beyond the heavens..." Suddenly his expression became solemn, and he looked towards the distant sky, "If that is the case, our entire world will be under the most severe threat."
