Zhong Shuyi, the lawyer from last night, was with Chen Ziming.
She stood beside him now, taking in Su Yue before calmly turning her gaze back to the two girls.
The girl named Jingjing gave a start, stepping back slightly. She quickly lowered her head and began, "I'm sorry, Officer Chen, I'm so sorry. I just really wanted to see you, that's all. I didn't mean to bother you."
She was clearly crying.
Perhaps his demeanor was intimidating, as her friend dared not speak either.
Chen Ziming cast a cold glance at them, then took Su Yue's hand, turning his head to ask her, "Are you alright?"

He let out a soft sigh, pulling her closer. His voice softened as he spoke to the girl opposite them, "Feng Jingjing, I already have a girlfriend. You shouldn't come here again."

Su Yue knew, even without looking, that his expression must have soured again.
She took a deep breath, feeling a responsibility to step in. She opened her mouth to answer, "I lied to you. I am Officer Chen's girlfriend. I just said that because I was afraid you'd be too heartbroken."
His hand loosened its grip on hers, and then his fingers began to gently rub her palm.
