Take a bite of pudding

Chapter 784 The First Mobile Phone Review Video in History

"2004's best mobile phone, claims the maker!" Hearing this bold assertion, everyone present couldn't help but curl their lips. They marveled at the audacity of this individual, imagining Nokia and Motorola might want to hunt him down and beat him to death.

Of course, freedom of speech prevailed, and it wouldn't come to that.

However, the statement did pique the audience's curiosity. They were eager to see just how extraordinary this "best mobile phone of 2004" truly was.

At this point, the presenter began his introduction. "First and foremost, what astounded me the most was the display quality of this screen. While it's not the popular touchscreen display that's all the rage right now, the screen's visual output is absolutely superb."

"How good is it? I've decided to borrow my parents' and my brother's phones to compare!" With this, the user picked up his camera and dashed around the house, finding his parents and brother. After a bit of warm, everyday banter, he borrowed all their phones and began his presentation.

"First, my father's phone. He trusts the Motorola brand quite a bit, so he uses this Motorola RAZR V3, commonly known as the 'Krypton' or 'Razor'. This is the latest model released this year, priced at $999 USD. It's the second most expensive phone Motorola sells. The most expensive one is the global version. Setting aside the global roaming feature, this phone should be the best-performing phone among all Motorola devices currently available."

"Next, my mother's phone. She's a Nokia user, currently using the Nokia 7610. This 'crazy woman' fell in love with this phone on the very first day it was released and queued up for three days to buy it. I must admit, though, the aesthetics of this phone are truly stunning, and I'm quite fond of it myself!"

"This phone sells for $899 USD, a little cheaper than the 'Krypton'. However, Nokia has three models that are more expensive than this one. Unfortunately, I couldn't find those three models anywhere near my home, so I'm using this one for comparison."

"Then there's my younger brother's phone. He's a loyal fan of blind boxes and a devoted follower of Tianxing phones. Although his fandom has only lasted two months, we already have all sorts of blind boxes at home. You probably saw them when you passed by our lawn earlier – those boxes piled up near the roof in the corner."

"Rumor has it that these are all special limited edition boxes. A single box in good condition can sell for around $10 USD. It's insane! And these boxes often don't contain anything truly interesting; they're filled with bread, salad, butter, even beef and lobster. Who knows how they manage to fit these things into blind boxes."

"But my mother absolutely loves it. She says ever since my brother started buying blind boxes with his salary, she's been able to save half of her daily living expenses and use it to buy more things she likes. My poor brother!"

"Alright, back to this Tianxing 5. This is a phone manufactured by Chinese people, but it's truly the best phone in the world. Honestly, if I hadn't seen this Zhongmi 1, I would have definitely bestowed the title of 'Best Mobile Phone of 2004' upon the Tianxing 5!"

"This phone doesn't have a set price at the moment, but if you absolutely must buy one, the common price on eBay is around $2,550 USD for a unit. These are readily available in stock, those darn scalpers!"

"If you're unwilling to overpay scalpers and don't want to gamble on divine favor through blind boxes, you can spend $2,000 USD to purchase BL..."

The results were surprising. The gap between these phones was quite significant.

First, the photo used for demonstration was a portrait of the video creator himself, so there were no issues with portrait rights.

The first display showed the photo output from the Nokia 7610. To put it mildly, you could tell who the person in the photo was. That was about the extent of it, considering it was a 2004 phone.

Then came the Motorola RAZR. As the photo switched, the audience immediately felt an improvement. The richness of colors had noticeably increased, and the jagged edges had been reduced, making the display effect clearly better.

However, this screen also had its drawbacks. The screen itself was much smaller, and the screen size didn't match the photo. This resulted in the photo being zoomed in, and although the clarity improved, it became somewhat difficult to recognize the person.

Next was the Zhongmi 1. As soon as this photo appeared, everyone's eyebrows involuntarily twitched. Firstly, because the screen was 2.5 times larger, the photo was also magnified by 2.5 times. The entire person was instantly and completely presented, allowing any viewer to recognize them at a glance.

In terms of color, it was comparable to the Motorola screen, or perhaps even slightly less vibrant. However, it excelled in distinct colors and possessed a sharp, clear quality.

The clarity also seemed to have improved significantly. For instance, a viewer noticed a stark black shadow on the person's teeth when they were smiling – it was unclear if it was a fly or something else. However, this was completely imperceptible on the previous two phones.

"There's a bit of a difference!" Seeing this, many viewers couldn't help but murmur.

But when the screen changed again, to the Tianxing 5 phone, the audience felt it wasn't just "a bit of a difference," but an entirely different world.

Firstly, the larger screen brought about a superior display.

But that wasn't all. What truly sent shivers down the audience's spines was the significantly more vibrant color in this photo. While the photos from the previous three phones were all considered colorful, they were utterly incomparable to the vibrancy of the photo on the Tianxing 5.

If the display on the Tianxing 5 was a photo taken at 10:00 AM, then the previous three phones all depicted scenes from dusk, appearing dim.

Not to mention its ability to render details. What couldn't be clearly seen on the Motorola and Nokia screens, and was only visible as a dark shadow on the Zhongmi 1's teeth, was now fully exposed on the Tianxing 5's screen. It turned out to be a tiny piece of green spinach stuck between the teeth – this tenacious little bit of spinach was fully displayed to all viewers on the Tianxing 5's screen.
