Silently Writing

Alright, let's get down to business.

You all know about what happened in the NBA in reality. I was hesitant to start this book last year when I was chatting with a few fellow readers.

As I mentioned in the previous single chapter, there are so many things you can't write about in basketball novels. First of all, setting aside reality, it's difficult enough to construct a long novel spanning 20 seasons.

As an author, A Qiao has to avoid pitfalls and figure out how to circumvent the toxic elements.

Regarding the idea of arranging for Duncan to go to the Celtics, I had already laid the groundwork for it.

After all, the Spurs and the Rockets are currently two major minefields... I don't want to argue, and I don't want to waste time and effort whitewashing certain people, but in my opinion, I still like Duncan as always, because Kobe and Duncan are both part of A Qiao's youth.

So, as you know, if I want to write 20 seasons, I inevitably have to use a certain team as a backdrop, and even have a certain team play the villain.

But I don't want Duncan to become a villain in my book.

Because if you've read his autobiography or seen some of his footage, you'll know that he's inherently a very "lovable" person. To have such a person play the villain, to be honest, as a Duncan fan, I'm not happy about it.

Therefore, when I started writing, the detailed outline was already planned, so I want to emphasize again that A Qiao didn't skip any games randomly during the regular season, and even the games I skipped may be foreshadowing.

Winning against the Nets and losing to the Nuggets was to change the draft, because the Nets are the only team I've researched that could snatch the first overall pick from the Spurs, and even be tricked out of the first overall pick by the Celtics.

So, I'll say it again, every word I say may be foreshadowing, or it may not be.

It's a big challenge for A Qiao to make the plot full of suspense and reconstruct some classic combinations, because it requires rich knowledge, experience, and even deductive ability.

But only in this way can I plan Su Feng's complete 20 seasons and make each season suspenseful.

I know some Spurs fans may not be happy about this, but don't forget, the Spurs have already been successful enough in reality.

As you know, this book, *Da Tie* (literally *Brick* or *Clank*), was sent to me by Su Feng from another dimension. It's a story from another parallel universe. So, why don't we just watch Su Feng's story in this parallel universe together?

In our timeline, Duncan spent 20 years in San Antonio, but in Su Feng's timeline, why can't Duncan become a 20-year Boston Celtics legend?

As an author, I must serve the plot, the story, and my outline. Therefore, I can cruelly let the 76ers win a series they only have a 1 in 10,000 chance of winning, and I can also stand at a higher dimension to let Duncan join the Green Army.

Frankly speaking, A Qiao is just an emotionless code-writing machine.

If I were emotional, how could many descriptions, details, and plots be like what a reader said in this chapter, that A Qiao's description of the Bulls is exactly the same as the documentary he watched?

It is precisely because I have done enough homework that I can achieve such an effect.

So, I'm off to write! I also hope everyone will be patient and see how A Qiao operates next.

Please vote for recommendations, monthly votes, and subscriptions! Our average subscription is about to reach the extra update line again (crying, A Qiao doesn't not want to add more updates, it's because of the transitional plot, I really have to pay attention to too many details! Muah!).

Love you all! Thank you to all the genuine subscribers who support me! We still have 19 seasons of stories to go, so let me tell you them slowly.
