Silently Writing

"Borrow" half a day. Also, does anyone want to know what the original five parts of blacksmithing are like?

It's over. Yesterday, I was chatting with a fellow author, and he said that he writes 4,000 words every day this month, totaling 60,000 words, and he's worried about getting the full attendance bonus. Then I replied that I wrote nearly 90,000 words this month, but I don't have to worry about the full attendance bonus. (Because I submitted it at the beginning of the month, didn't expect that!)

Okay, let's get down to business.

First, I'll shamelessly take half a day to finish this plot!

And then...

Although I've said it many times, I'll say it again... In the final stages, it's not that I'm deliberately making excuses, but when writing the later chapters, I have to go back and reread many places in the previous chapters. Plus, I'm "turtle-ing" for more than ten hours every day, which is not only hard on my body, but also a test of my brainpower and an old man's physical strength. Therefore, now I can only guarantee that under the premise that the total number of words per month will not be pulled down before the book is finished, I will try to finish the whole paragraph and the whole plot as much as possible, so that when you open the latest chapter, you will not feel uncomfortable because of cliffhangers and slow updates.

Next, I'll chat with you about the outline plan before the end of the book, and the original five-part outline of "Da Tie" (Hitting Iron).

As I said before, the total number of words in "Da Tie" will be around 5 million.

So, in terms of the total number of words, "Da Tie" is currently 90% complete.

And in this last plot, it's still the same sentence, I will only write about the key points of the game. Therefore, if several chapters in a row or for a period of time I don't write about the game, then having read this far, it's not difficult to guess based on my writing style that I must save the ink for the big scenes later.

After all, it's not easy to bring back some suspense for the championship before the end of the book, so the playoffs must account for 7, or even 8, while the regular season only deserves 3, or 2.

In addition... Writing to this last part, I can also open my heart and chat with you about the original five-part outline of "Da Tie".

In fact, in my original outline plan for "Da Tie" in 2019, the five parts of "Da Tie" were Philadelphia's First Appearance, Northern Rise, Southern Tribulation, King's Landing, and Veteran's Return.

According to the original idea, after the digital human plot, Su Feng would only stay in the Raptors for one season.

That is, after winning the championship with the help of Boss Qiao, the Raptors would be disbanded directly through reasonable plot deduction, and Su Feng would transfer to the Heat.

Then, the Lakers would win two consecutive championships first, and Su Feng would end the Lakers' last streak under heavy criticism.

Yes... In the original idea, O'Neal would not be on the same team as Su Feng.

Because if the Heat were the Lakers' direct competitors at the beginning of the century, then Old Buss would definitely not agree to let O'Neal go to the Heat.

So, the next step would be for the Lakers to keep O'Neal, gather supporters, and continue to fight the Heat.

And during the Southern Tribulation period, I didn't intend to let Su Feng establish a dynasty in Miami at the beginning.

Instead, they won championships in 02 and 04 respectively, and in 03, the Celtics were led by Xiao Dun Tou (Little Dun Head) to win the championship.

First, in my conception, this writing style could keep the suspense of the championship always maintained. Second, it would not be too tiring to enter the middle stage.

But the problem with this writing style is...

At the beginning of 2020, there was an accident that I still can't believe to this day.

Because according to the original outline, Kobe would be beaten as Su Feng's competitor until the fifth part...

So, if that incident didn't happen, it would be fine, after all, I believe that the mentality of true Kobe fans has long been trained by this group of excellent Qidian storytellers.

But after that incident... plus the various betrayals of reality to basketball novels later, I had to change the outline before starting the book.

But I can still tell you, after all, as a reader, I think you can also regard this as a story that happened in another "Da Tie" time and space.

After winning the championships in 02 and 04, in the original outline, Su Feng would leave the Heat in 05 and meet Garnett in Portland.

Yes... that's right, in my original outline, as a Timberwolves fan... Garnett was the second leader of Su Feng's dynasty.

Although I know that many people don't like Garnett, but including what I have mentioned many times in my book, in fact, people who know Garnett know that this guy has always been "bullying the weak and fearing the strong", especially when he meets Yao Ming, he basically praises Yao Ming whenever he catches him.

Because as a human being, Garnett's emotional intelligence is definitely far above Boss Qiao.

He knows what the Chinese market behind Su Feng and Yao Ming means, and also knows what his alliance with Su Feng means.

So, for these three years of 05, 06, and 07, I originally arranged for Su Feng to win three consecutive championships with Garnett in Portland.

Then, because he completely lost interest in basketball after the three consecutive championships, with Paul Allen no longer investing, Su Feng's departure next, and according to the timeline, the Celtics' championship to comfort Auerbach's spirit in heaven became logical.

And the plot here, the fourth part of the King's Landing is only half over.

Because in the original outline, Su Feng would then join the Hornets, who still have Paul sitting there.

And as for why choose New Orleans and the Hornets?

The answer is of course...

In the original outline, Su Feng wanted to pick this kind of team that had never won a championship and was of great significance to compete for the championship.

As we all know, after being hit by a hurricane, the league has been trying to compensate New Orleans, so as one of my favorite players, in the original plot, Su Feng would join hands with Paul to challenge the championship.

It's a pity, because you can always trust Chris-My Cannon at critical moments.

So, the original plot of Little O'Neal and Carter being injured for two consecutive years, I planned to leave it to Paul.

And, Yao Ming and Iverson's championship will also be placed in 09.

Then, because Iverson is no longer at his peak at this time, so the finals...

But the problem with this writing style is...

If there was no accident, then there would be no problem in writing this way.

But as the accident happened, even if Philadelphia has an extremely special meaning for Kobe, I believe that no Kobe fan would want to see Kobe wearing other teams' jerseys in any crooked story.

Therefore, this is also why I told you before that in the revised outline of "Da Tie", I never considered letting Su Feng return to Philadelphia.

Because Su Feng's return to Philadelphia must be with Kobe to make sense.

Finally, let's talk about something off-topic.

Recently, some readers have been giving me feedback, feeling that "Da Tie" has entered aesthetic fatigue.

Well... how should I say it...

I am very helpless about this, and it is also true, there is really no way to change it.

Because let alone a novel of 4.5 million words, there will inevitably be repeated plots. As for the quality of the second half of "Da Tie", I said, you can pick a few chapters to compare with the previous articles to see if there is any change in the writing style and the degree of water injection.

In short, the quality of "Da Tie" has always been there.

It's just that in my original idea, I would use an update speed comparable to the Hawks to get through this aesthetic fatigue, but because the update speed can't keep up now, aesthetic fatigue naturally appears.

In fact, when writing the later stage of "Da Tie", I also found that sports articles are not suitable for writing this kind of 5 million-word long article.

It's not that I don't have enough skills to reach 5 million words.

It's just that, under the premise of wanting to maintain suspense and readers' passion for chasing books, the most ideal length of sports articles is still around 3 million words, and then focus on writing 4-5 seasons.

Because unlike reality, as we all know, once the protagonist in the novel is invincible, there will be aesthetic fatigue.

But in reality, if your favorite star is as invincible as Su Feng, then you may wish to chase every game of his without missing a single one.

And the most important thing is...

You all know that the joint operation of Gouba (Dog Eight - a derogatory term for Nike) and major sports brands has led to the fact that the sneaker-related plot I had prepared was cut.

And originally, before writing "Da Tie", I also specially studied and learned about the relevant content of the sneaker part of nBA stars.

I believe that when seeing the previous article, some readers must have seen a lot of cold knowledge that he had never understood.

It's a pity, because I was betrayed by reality again.

So this also led to the complete loss of a very important cool point in the later stage of "Da Tie".

Therefore, it's not that I'm complaining here.

But at present, it's not only Chinese basketball that is going through a difficult time.

This group of people who are constantly being betrayed by reality are also trying various ways to write basketball articles for you in different ways.

Maybe, the current nBA is very worrying.

And, if it weren't for professional needs, I wouldn't want to watch it either.

But still that sentence.

Anyway, basketball and nBA have brought us happy memories.

So...

Rather than saying that I want to completely write about Su Feng's career in "Da Tie", it's better to say that I want to recall once again those years when I watched nBA.

In short, it is a pity that the five parts of the original "Da Tie" could not be written according to the original plan.

But from my personal point of view, I am still very satisfied with the five parts of the new "Da Tie".

Because different plot deductions also bring different plots and different joys.

Okay, continue to turtle a big chapter!

Chatting with you at this time has led me to write at least 3,000 words less!

Code words! Code words!
