Chapter 151: Flato Solar System (Part 2)

Azrael thought deeply about what Mira had just said, carefully analyzing all the pros and cons of the mission while also considering whether there was something suspicious about it.

Before Ashara had left, Azrael had spoken with her and had finally accepted Mira’s request to personally teach him.

At that time, Ashara had told him that Mira would contact him on her own, and when he received a message from her a few days ago, he had assumed she was calling him to discuss that matter.

But now, it seemed he had been mistaken and she had called him for a completely different reason.

’Is she trying to test me before teaching me, or...’ Azrael gave Mira a strange look. ’Could it be that she actually can’t teach me anything at my current level and instead wants to help me raise my level as quickly as possible, so she can then teach me?’

The reason Azrael considered this possibility was because even Ashara had told him that he had already learned nearly everything available at his current level.

To advance further, he needed to increase his level in order to be able to grasp higher concepts, such as the comprehension of powers, something that only began once one reached the rank of Legend.

"So, what do you think?" Mira’s words pulled Azrael out of his thoughts.

He hesitated, weighing whether he should accept this mission immediately or spend some more time raising his level before attempting to take on such tasks.

At this moment, however, a strange sensation suddenly washed over him. It was as if something beyond himself was urging him to accept the mission, warning him that if he refused, he would regret it in the future.

This sensation was eerily similar to the one he had felt back in the Eonrift, just as he was preparing to leave after killing Rose. At that time, a dreadful feeling had engulfed him, warning him that leaving was the wrong choice.

At first, Azrael hadn’t understood why he had suddenly felt that way—why that sensation had saved him from failing the Eonrift Trial.

But later, he had discovered the truth.

---) Infinite Comprehension (Eternal Grade): Your soul is all-encompassing and has a deep connection with the world. Greatly enhances your ability to comprehend and understand all forms of knowledge.

Yes, it had been the effect of his Eternal Grade trait. The description of his soul having a deep connection with the world was not mere words—it was as if the world itself was guiding him, offering its subtle help.

When he was about to leave the Eonrift’s trial after killing Rose, that strange feeling had come directly from the world, warning him that leaving at that moment was not the right choice.

It functioned like instinct, yet it was far more profound and powerful.

’I don’t know why my trait is reacting so strongly to this mission, but...’ Azrael closed his eyes for a brief moment before opening them again with resolve. ’I won’t be losing anything by accepting it.’

Turning toward Mira, he nodded. "Alright, I will go there."

Mira nodded calmly in return before asking, "When are you planning to leave?"

"I will need to take a spaceship to get there, right?" Azrael asked.

"Yes," Mira replied. "You can either take a transport spaceship, which departs for the Flato Solar System once a day, or you can rent a small spaceship from the mission hall to travel there yourself."

"What about teleportation formations?" Azrael asked again.

"There is one as well," Mira explained, "but it will cost you a few million cosmic energy stones. Are you certain you wish to spend such an amount?"

Azrael thought quietly for a moment before answering.

"I will rent a spaceship from the mission hall." He paused, then added, "By the way, I will leave in two days. There is something I need to take care of before departing."

"No problem," Mira nodded. "But make sure to leave within five days at most. It will take you another three to four days to reach Fras Planet, and if you delay any longer, the situation there might become more complicated."

Azrael nodded in acknowledgment and rose to his feet.

"Can you send me back?"

Mira nodded and snapped her fingers. As she did, a glowing formation immediately lit up beneath Azrael’s feet, and his body began to dissolve into silver light.

Just as he was about to vanish completely, Mira suddenly slapped her forehead as if she had just remembered something important.

"I forgot to mention, but you also have teammates."

"Wha—" Azrael wasn’t able to finish his words before the light enveloped him completely, pulling him away.

Mira chuckled softly when she saw his reaction and nodded to herself in satisfaction.

"He must be irritated now, hearing something so crucial at the very last moment." She muttered to herself before turning back to review the paperwork piled upon her desk.

Meanwhile, Azrael reappeared inside the teleportation hub.

He gave a polite nod to the man who had sent him to Mira’s office earlier before walking away, his expression darkened by a deep frown as he did not like the thought of having teammates, especially when it was sprung on him so suddenly, without even knowing who they were.

’Just as Mom said, this woman truly is strange,’ Azrael thought, rubbing his eyebrows while recalling the amused smile on Mira’s face right before he disappeared.

With a sigh, he made his way to his hover car. Once inside, he instructed the AI to return to his mansion and leaned back in his seat, pondering what he needed to do in the two days before his departure.

’I need to prepare a few things just in case, and more importantly, I need to practice the Unyielding Body to improve my physical body.’

Azrael couldn’t help but feel slightly helpless as that thought came to mind. After pushing himself to his limits during the last five days in order to clear up his schedule, he had actually been planning to take it easy for a day or two to rest.

But with this mission now looming ahead, his plan for relaxation had been completely ruined.

’I just can’t catch a break,’ He thought inwardly with a shake of his head.

At the same time, his mind drifted back to the strange feeling he had experienced in Mira’s office.

’What exactly is this Transcendent Underground force doing that my trait insists I go there, or else I will regret it in future?’

Azrael pondered for a few moments before finally shaking his head.

"Ha, whatever..." He muttered, dismissing the thought with a sigh. "I’ll deal with it once I get there."

Not long after, he arrived back at his mansion. And without resting for even a moment, he immediately began preparing himself to practice the Unyielding Body.
