"Kid, I'm telling you upfront, don't speak carelessly when we get there. Otherwise, no matter how strong your talent is, there'll be no saving you. Don't think I'm just trying to scare you; some things are far more complicated than you imagine. You could be killed with a single slap."
After speaking, the burly man glared at Mu Feng again. "Some things are better left unsaid. Being too glib will get you nowhere."
With that, he took the lead and walked forward. A subtle curve formed on Mu Feng's lips, and a faint smile appeared on his face. "I'm actually quite curious, how powerful are these experts you speak of?"
"And are there many of them?"
The burly man shook his head. "I'm not entirely sure myself. You'll find out when you get there. I don't have the qualifications to board their ship."
He then led the way quickly towards the parking spot. Mu Feng's smile grew more pronounced, knowing that the main figures they were waiting for would soon arrive.
They waited in the car for about twenty minutes. Suddenly, lights appeared on the dock, and a few people got out of the car and led Mu Feng forward.
"Remember what I told you. It's not that I think you're truly that talented, but I'm making a small investment in you. At the very least, what I'm telling you now will help you suffer less over there.
"When you become powerful and have the chance, you'd better help me out."
Mu Feng patted his shoulder. "I'll give you a chance to start anew. In your next life, you won't be controlled by anyone. As for whether you can even become a human in your next life, that depends on how many unjust deeds you've committed in this one."
The burly man froze. Before he could even react, he felt an immensely powerful force surge through Mu Feng's palm and into his heart.
In that instant, he felt as if his heart had been grasped by something.
In just one second, his heart exploded, and he stood there completely stunned, falling backward stiffly.
The people around him reacted, trying to cry out. Mu Feng merely waved his hand, and several silver needles pierced their foreheads.
They all collapsed on the ground. Meanwhile, the ship on the other side was still signaling with lights, and a small boat was heading towards them.
A person stood silently on the boat. As it approached, his gaze was filled with confusion.
"Why are you alone? Where did the others go?"
Upon hearing this, a faint smile appeared on Mu Feng's face. "They've all gone. I've been sent to send you to meet King Yama."
With that, he took a step and was already on the small boat. Before the person could react, Mu Feng struck his neck with a hand chop.
He was knocked unconscious on the spot. Mu Feng then steered the small boat towards the larger ship anchored a few nautical miles away.
When he arrived, the people on the ship had already noticed something was wrong. After all, everyone else had disappeared, leaving only Mu Feng. Their gazes were filled with caution, but not much fear.
As Mu Feng reached the edge of the large ship, no one lowered a rope. The ship was at least five to six meters above the sea. Mu Feng merely touched the tip of his toe, and as the surface of the small boat followed him, he leaped upwards.
When he landed on the deck, he saw the stunned expressions of those people.
"Who... who are you?"
The one-eyed leader's voice faltered slightly. He was still reeling from what he had just witnessed.
While people on land could jump, this person had effortlessly flown such a great distance. It had completely overturned their understanding. Even the experts they had encountered didn't possess such power, yet this young man had done it with ease.
A smile appeared on Mu Feng's face. "I am the one who will take your lives."
He had no intention of letting these people off the hook when he appeared here tonight.
Upon hearing this, those people finally reacted and surrounded Mu Feng. They all drew weapons from their bodies, and at that moment, their eyes were filled with fierce killing intent.
"Good, you dare to come aboard our ship and boast like this. Let's see what you're capable of!"
The one-eyed man finished speaking and pulled the trigger, aiming for Mu Feng's leg. They wanted to know who had sent this guy to act so recklessly.
They knew that the people they had sent down were likely beyond help. This was not the time to dwell on such matters.
"Attack!"
"Bang!"
A loud sound echoed.
Mu Feng, however, moved like a phantom, disappearing from their sight. A weapon appeared in his hand. The sharp long saber seemed to have no gleam; if you didn't look closely, you wouldn't even see the reflection of the blade.
Wherever he passed, people fell to the ground, a thin red line appearing on their necks.
Their pupils rapidly dilated, and their eyes held expressions of confusion and bewilderment.
Their strength drained away like a deflated balloon; they fell to the ground without knowing how they had died. The only one still standing was the one-eyed man.
Mu Feng turned his head with a smile, his eyes filled with amusement. "Take me to see your experts. I'm sure they'll be very surprised to see me!"
"After all, you should be happy to have such a powerful expert joining you."
The one-eyed man swallowed hard. The weapons he held against Mu Feng had been useless; Mu Feng's movements were like a ghost, impossible to track. His weapon was still pointed at Mu Feng, and he hesitated whether to pull the trigger.
But in the next moment, Mu Feng extended his hand and gently clenched the air.
The one-eyed man felt his palm encased by an invisible force. Before he could even resist, his fingers contorted and twisted, becoming like a chicken's claw.
"Crack..."
The sound of bones breaking echoed continuously. Extreme terror appeared in his eyes.
