"Your condition is clear to me; you have no chance before me. However, I suspect even if I spoke plainly, you wouldn't understand."
Mu Feng’s voice was calm, but his foot did not relent, still pressing down on the fingers of the man in the black windbreaker.
The black windbreaker was stained with blood in several places, and his face contorted with pain. His eyes were bloodshot, filled with a venomous glare.
The agony in his hands caused his body to tremble, but I knew this torment wasn't enough to make him yield.
If it were only this much suffering, he could easily dismiss it, perhaps letting out a few screams of pain.
At this moment, his face displayed a mocking expression, intentionally trying to provoke Mu Feng. "Mu Feng, is this all you've got?"
"If these are your only methods, you likely won't get any information from me."
"The renowned Young Master of the Flying Eagles, turns out to be so crude. Honestly, I look down on you. You're not even as good as a nobody like me. At least I'm better at torturing people than you are."
A slight smile curved Mu Feng's lips, and a flicker of amusement appeared in his gaze.
He wasn't angered by this; instead, his interest grew.
"As I have plenty of time now, I can play with you slowly. Don't you want to see my methods? I'll grant your wish now."
"However, I do hope you can last a bit longer. I know what you're thinking – deliberately trying to enrage me so I'll give you a quick end. Your plan might not work out."
The man in the black windbreaker sneered, "Come on, if I get scared of you, I'm your grandson!"
Mu Feng shook his head with a half-smile, "Do you think you're worthy? Wanting to be my grandson? Even if you were reforged a million times, I wouldn't want such trash."
As his voice fell, several silver needles appeared in his hand and flicked out.
The man in the black windbreaker wanted to say more, initially intending to dismiss Mu Feng. But now he found himself provoked by Mu Feng, something that had never happened before. He had never been so scorned.
However, before he could utter a word, Mu Feng's voice reached his ears.
"Perhaps you have some misunderstanding about me. I didn't use these methods on you before because I felt you weren't worthy. Since you so desperately want to experience them, I shall oblige."
"You're not agitated; you've merely piqued my interest entirely."
The man in the black windbreaker’s mouth gaped open, but he found he couldn't make any sound.
Yet, he could still move. Struggling, he managed to sit up from the ground, his hand instinctively reaching for his cheek.
He wanted to know what kind of transformation was happening in his body, why this situation had arisen. But before he could react, he suddenly felt as if something was darting around inside him.
His years of cultivating internal energy became useless at this moment; it could not provide any effective resistance.
Ripping pain surged from all over his body, making him feel as if his very soul was being torn apart. The agony instantly engulfed him.
The pain made him want to scream out in release, but it was all in vain. His cries were completely stifled. At this moment, he had only one thought: to die quickly, perhaps finding a merciful release.
However, before the thought could even materialize into action, Mu Feng stomped on his head.
It felt like Mount Tai bearing down. No matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't move. Mu Feng's foot seemed to have completely immobilized him. His entire body writhed and twisted, and in that moment, he truly understood what it meant to be better off dead than alive.
A faint smile touched Mu Feng's lips. "Don't you think my methods are crude?"
"How do you feel now?"
The man in the black windbreaker's intestines churned with regret. If he had known Mu Feng possessed such formidable abilities, he wouldn't have dared to utter those words that deliberately provoked Mu Feng, even if it meant being beaten to death.
He had angered Mu Feng, but the result was that he himself was now in a state worse than death.
Each passing second felt like an eternity to him.
Mu Feng lifted his foot. Now, he didn't need to restrain the man; the heart-wrenching pain had already caused the man in the black windbreaker’s muscles to spasm, leaving him completely without strength.
A few minutes passed, which for Mu Feng was about the time it took to smoke a cigarette.
But for the man lying on the ground, it felt like centuries. His face was no longer defiant; only numbness and agonizing tremors remained.
Mu Feng casually beckoned, and the silver needle returned to his hand.
The pain slowly receded like a receding tide.
The man in the black windbreaker's eyes snapped open. A hint of clarity gradually returned to his gaze. At this moment, he finally understood that simply being alive was a tremendous fortune.
Furthermore, he harbored no more illusions. Looking at Mu Feng, his eyes were now filled with supplication.
"Whatever you want to know, I'll tell you everything. Please, give me a quick end. I can't bear that torment anymore; it's like being sent to the eighteenth level of hell."
"I don't want to endure that pain for even another second."
Mu Feng smiled faintly, "I don't actually have anything I need to ask you. You can speak freely, say whatever you wish. If you can satisfy me, I can give you a quick end."
"But if the information you provide has no value, then the pain you just experienced will accompany you until death."
"You will be unable to move, unable to speak, only passively enduring that agonizing torment."
"Don't worry, this pain itself won't cause you significant physical damage. At least, you'll still be alive when sent to the hospital. I can magnanimously pay for your medical expenses, just until you finally die from the pain."
Hearing this, the man in the black windbreaker felt as if a bolt from the blue had struck him. He couldn't imagine what kind of eternity that would be.
The mere thought of those terrifying consequences made him shiver, like a bucket of cold water drenching him, chilling him to the bone.
In mere moments, he made his decision, and his emotions began to crumble.
"The information I can provide is very limited. I'm just a minor figure in the Alliance. They wouldn't tell me any important news."
