After that car broke through the barrier, more than a dozen black business cars followed consecutively, and burly men in suits got out.
In total, there were at least forty to fifty people.
After getting out of the cars, they stood rigidly, exuding a fierce aura that made passersby glance over.
Their hands instinctively steered clear.
Li Erye looked coldly at the Su Corporation building.
His voice was as cold as a knife.
"Go!"
The group followed in unison, preparing to enter the company.
Just then, Mu Feng emerged from the security booth, holding a lit cigarette.
A playful, cold smile flickered in his eyes.
"Everyone, you're here for me, right?"
"You are Mu Feng?"
Li Erye was not entirely sure, as he had never met Mu Feng before and had not seen any of his information or photos prior to his arrival.
Seeing the other party's appearance and demeanor, he felt he had guessed about eight or nine parts correctly.
Mu Feng smiled and said, "That's right. You must be Li Yongchao's uncle, aren't you?"
"I heard you had arrived earlier and went straight to the hospital, so I figured you'd come find me. I've been waiting here for you."
"You kept us waiting for quite a while. It's been over half an hour, and you're just arriving."
Li Erye gritted his teeth and said, "Are you waiting to die?"
The delay was because he had specifically hired these bodyguards.
These men were all from the same company.
The bodyguards from that company were obedient to a fault, willing to kill without hesitation if ordered.
However, their price was also quite high.
"But since you're so eager to die, I'll grant you your wish. This isn't the place to settle things, though. Dare you come with me?"
"Looking at you, you probably don't have the guts to come with me. You're probably afraid of getting beaten to death, aren't you?" Li Erye said with a ferocious expression.
He didn't want to act in broad daylight, as it would cause him considerable trouble.
He was not a good-for-nothing like Li Yongchao.
Some things couldn't be done too conspicuously, especially in today's almost completely transparent society. If he did anything too arrogant, it could lead to irreversible consequences.
Mu Feng said with a half-smile, "Are you trying to provoke me?"
"I'm not provoking you; I'm inviting you to the hospital to treat my nephew."
Li Erye knew that if he got too angry, he might scare the young man away.
However, if the other party refused to leave the company, he would have to take a risk.
In that case, he would have to act decisively and cleanly in public.
A ball of rage was burning within him, wanting to be vented completely.
Mu Feng's expression became even more pronounced. "If you want to invite me for treatment, you should give up on that idea. I will absolutely not help Li Yongchao recover."
"If you want to seek revenge on me."
He paused slightly, a playful smile curling at the corner of his lips. "I can accompany you, however."
"After all, this is indeed not the place to resolve trouble."
"But you should think carefully. Leaving here could very well lead to your eternal damnation."
Li Erye couldn't help but burst into laughter, a laugh born of fury.
His eyes revealed a cruel glint, and the uncontainable anger in his heart flared. "Kid, I have to admit, you've got guts."
"But empty words and lies are something anyone can do."
"Aren't you daring enough to come with me? Get in the car if you have the nerve."
Mu Feng took a puff of his cigarette, then flicked it to the ground and stomped it out. He strode towards the lead business car and got right in.
The remaining people were somewhat stunned.
The bodyguards clearly hadn't expected Mu Feng to actually dare to get into the car.
But immediately after, looks of pity appeared on their faces.
In their eyes, this was a simple-minded fool. Someone was shouting at him, and he still dared to leave with so many people.
Once in a deserted place, even if he screamed his lungs out, no one would be able to save him.
Li Erye's eyes also showed excitement. "Truly young and impetuous."
"Get in the cars. Let's find a deserted place and settle our grievances slowly."
"Today, I will make him weep and beg before me like a dog wagging its tail."
He didn't get into the same car as Mu Feng, but instead stepped into the middle vehicle, surrounded by bodyguards.
He was usually cautious and prudent in his dealings, and he didn't want to put himself in any danger at this moment.
The vehicles quickly departed from the Su Corporation.
They sped onto the city expressway and arrived in the suburbs within ten minutes. The road they took had become mostly dirt, and only one car might pass by in tens of minutes.
"Stop the cars! Let's settle this here!"
With Li Erye's command, the convoy came to a halt.
Impatiently, he got out of the car and looked at the business car Mu Feng was in. The boundless rage in his eyes was gathering, and his unbridled hatred was surging.
Mu Feng slowly got out of the car, glanced around, and then said with a faint smile, "You've chosen quite a good spot for yourself. It's perfect for burying you here."
Upon hearing this, Li Erye couldn't help but laugh.
However, his laughter was undeniably ferocious.
"You little brat, you're already here, and you're still talking back to me?"
"Do you think that by crippling my nephew like this, no one else can save him but you?"
"Do you think that's your trump card?"
"You have no idea what truly ruthless methods are. Sometimes, death is a release. Today, I will let you taste that feeling."
"I will make you know what it truly means to be better off dead than alive!"
As he spoke these words, his teeth were grinding together as if he were squeezing the words out through his gritted teeth.
Mu Feng maintained his faint smile and surveyed the people around him. "Who gave you the courage?"
"Just these dozens of rotten leeks around you?"
"Do you think they can touch me?"
The bodyguards around them instantly showed anger. They felt underestimated?
And the other party was just one person.
Li Erye laughed even more wildly. "Did you hear that? He's insulting you."
"He thinks you're worse than rotten leeks."
"What do you say we should teach him a lesson?"
