Chapter 30 Huang Lao's Granddaughter

Li Se left soon after, while Hong Zhixue remained stunned on the spot. If not for the stinging pain on his face, he would have found it hard to believe he had actually been struck.

"Li Se!" Hong Zhixue roared, looking at the bodyguards groaning in pain on the ground. He suddenly kicked out, "You useless good-for-nothings, useless, all of you are useless!"

As soon as he returned to the residential complex, Li Se saw Zhang Aimin hobbling along.

"You saw me and didn't come to help?" Zhang Aimin, seeing Li Se staring blankly, couldn't help but say with a hint of melancholy.

Li Se snapped back to attention and immediately went to Zhang Aimin's side. As he got closer, he smelled a faint, pleasant fragrance that he found somewhat enjoyable. He then helped Zhang Aimin sit on a stone bench and proceeded to remove her shoes.

Holding Zhang Aimin's delicate feet, Li Se became lost in thought for a moment. He didn't consider himself to have a foot fetish, but Zhang Aimin's feet were truly beautiful and smooth, making him reluctant to let go.

"Do you think my feet are pretty?"

Li Se quickly glanced around. Seeing that no one was paying attention to them, he breathed a sigh of relief and began to massage Zhang Aimin.

"Your massage technique is quite comfortable, kid."

Not daring to look more, Li Se immediately shifted his gaze. After massaging for a while, he said, "Sister Min, try to see if you can walk now."

Zhang Aimin attempted to stand up and cried out, "Ouch!" She stumbled and fell into Li Se's arms, murmuring softly, "It still hurts. I can't walk."

Li Se was puzzled. How could his massage not help?

"Carry me back," Zhang Aimin said, her arms wrapping tightly around Li Se's neck, clinging to him.

Li Se had no choice but to carry her. Feeling the softness against his back, his face couldn't help but blush. After they exited the elevator, he hesitated for a moment and said, "Sister Min, why don't you come to my place for dinner tonight?"

"Sure!" Zhang Aimin climbed down from his back, her foot pain seemingly gone. She walked unceremoniously into Li Se's home.

Li Se touched his nose, realizing she had just been teasing him. However, he found the experience not unpleasant and even rather enjoyable.

"Aimin, come, come, sit down," Chen Xiulian said, warmly welcoming Zhang Aimin. As neighbors, their families were quite familiar with each other.

Zhang Aimin sat down and chatted happily with Chen Xiulian. Li Se went to the kitchen to get busy. About ten minutes later, Zhang Aimin also came into the kitchen.

"I can manage by myself," Li Se said, feeling a bit shy to look at Zhang Aimin. The widow exuded a mature charm that he found difficult to resist.

"What's wrong? Are you afraid of me?" Zhang Aimin asked with a half-smile, looking at Li Se. "I'm not some monstrous beast that can eat you, am I? Even if I were to eat, it would be somewhere else."

Li Se felt a surge of heat in his abdomen. This woman was truly playing with fire.

After finally preparing the meal, Li Se let out a long sigh. It had been tormenting. He hadn't expected, however, that during dinner, he would feel someone touching him. Looking down, he saw Zhang Aimin had extended her foot.

This was blatant seduction.

Looking at her, she ate as if nothing was happening, even chatting and laughing with Chen Xiulian.

After eating his fill, Li Se immediately rushed to the bathroom and took a cold shower. He was truly afraid he might lose control, as any lapse in self-control could lead to dire consequences.

Time quickly passed, and it was the next day. Li Se went to the traditional Chinese medicine shop again, buying some herbs and a new set of acupuncture needles. These herbs were not for himself but for Yin Wenhao.

"Young man, I see you come here to buy medicine often, and today you've bought acupuncture needles. Are you studying traditional Chinese medicine?" an old man in a Tang suit asked with interest.

Li Se nodded. "Yes, I am a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine."

"Who is your TCM master?" the old man inquired further.

Li Se thought for a moment. "I learned from Old Huang."

"Oh, Old Huang from the TCM Hall," the old man said, clearly aware of Old Huang and sounding somewhat surprised. "I've never heard of him taking disciples. That's excellent. If you can truly inherit his knowledge, becoming a master of traditional Chinese medicine in the future is not impossible."

"Thank you for your kind words," Li Se replied, nodding.

"You are Old Huang's disciple?" Just then, an extremely cold voice sounded. A woman of exceptional height, dressed in a white lab coat, walked out.

Upon seeing this beautiful woman, Li Se instinctively thought of someone else: Xia Bingyun.

The first time he met Xia Bingyun, she exuded an aura of coldness, but that coldness seemed superficial, as if it were a pretense.

However, the coldness radiating from the woman before him seemed to stem from her very bones, as if it were innate.

This coldness not only kept others at a distance but also gave the impression that no man in the world could capture her attention.

But undeniably, this woman was truly beautiful. Standing at 1.7 meters tall, with a graceful figure and exquisite features, she was a work of art.

"Yes!" Li Se, after a brief moment of stunned silence, quickly regained his composure and nodded.

"You're lying!" the beautiful woman scoffed. "Old Huang is my grandfather. He hasn't taken any disciples!"

"You are..." Li Se suddenly remembered that Old Huang had mentioned his granddaughter was ill. He hadn't expected to encounter her at this traditional Chinese medicine shop. Her overbearing demeanor made him slightly uncomfortable.

"Heh heh, this is Old Huang's granddaughter, Huang Shanshan," the old man introduced.

Huang Shanshan glanced at Li Se and said, "Don't use my grandfather's name to deceive people anymore. Otherwise, you'll face legal trouble!"

With that, Huang Shanshan turned and left.

Li Se frowned. He didn't want to argue with a woman. To be precise, he wasn't Old Huang's disciple; rather, Old Huang was his disciple.

However, from his brief observation, he hadn't detected any illness in Huang Shanshan. Why then would Old Huang say his granddaughter was sick?

Shaking his head, Li Se dismissed the thought and left the traditional Chinese medicine shop with his purchase. He took a taxi to Yin Wenhao's house. It was a bungalow, not particularly luxurious, but in Qingyun City, building such a bungalow required significant funds.

After pressing the doorbell for a while, someone came to open the door. It was a rather attractive young woman who asked, "Who are you?"

Li Se replied, "I am a friend of Brother Yin, and I've come specifically to see him."

The young woman frowned slightly, but it seemed she had indeed heard Yin Wenhao mention this matter. She opened the door and said, "Please come in."
