Li Se naturally wouldn't allow himself to be manhandled. He blocked the grab with a punch, forcing the captain back several steps.
"How dare you?" Several members of the guard team quickly drew their guns, their muzzles all pointed at Li Se.
Li Se's expression turned somewhat grim. If Ye Bowen had used other forces, like the underworld or skilled fighters, he wouldn't have been too afraid. But he hadn't expected him to directly use official power. Continuing to resist would only put him in a more disadvantageous position.
"What are you doing? Put your guns away!" Tang Xi shouted angrily.
"Miss Tang, this person hit Young Master Ye and attacked me. I have serious suspicions he is a criminal!" the captain sneered, stretching his limbs before walking towards Li Se. "Kid, you'd better not resist, or you'll die horribly. You deserve to be shot here. Now get against the wall!"
Li Se's face was grim. He finally understood that the capital was indeed different from what he had imagined, especially these top aristocratic families. "Because he made the first move," Li Se stated calmly.
"Young Master Ye made a move on you?" Yu Zhiyong found it amusing.
"No, he made a move on my girlfriend," Li Se replied, shaking his head.
Yu Zhiyong found it even more amusing. "Miss Tang is Young Master Ye's fiancée. What's wrong with him touching her now and then? Is that any of your business?"
Knock, knock, knock...
There was a knock on the interrogation room door. A guard walked in, handed a file to Yu Zhiyong, and then retreated.
