Chapter 851 I Will Accompany You Through Everything

Lin Junhao, being incredibly sharp, understood his father's intentions perfectly. He immediately smiled, "Dad, I know what you mean."

"It's good that you do. Try to maintain a good relationship with this Li Se. Sometimes, such relationships are quite peculiar. You can represent the Lin family, but you also can't fully represent the Lin family," Lin Wunan chuckled.

Lin Junhao inwardly marveled at how much wiser the elder generation was. If Li Se were to fail and be expelled from the capital in the future, Lin Junhao wouldn't be able to represent the Lin family, as his relationship with Li Se was personal. However, if Li Se were to rise to prominence, he would represent the Lin family, thereby promoting the Lin family's relationship with Li Se. He hadn't thought of this strategy and was secretly amazed by his father, who was truly an old fox.

Li Se, of course, was unaware of the Lin family's machinations. He hadn't yet figured out why Lin Junhao had so readily handed over the Jiangbei Chamber of Commerce, and he even suspected that Lin Junhao might be trying to repay a past favor.

"Right, you have to come with me somewhere today," Qiao Weiwei suddenly said.

"Sure, we're like newlyweds after a long separation. Wherever you want to go today, I'll accompany you," Li Se replied readily.

Qiao Weiwei's pretty face blushed, and she said with a娇笑, "Who's talking about newlyweds after a long separation? Hmph, I think you've been living quite comfortably even without me. I heard that Sister Shanshan, Sister Min, and Sister Mei have all given themselves to you. I'd say you should be having a better time than anyone else right now."

"Weiwei, you're the only one left," Li Se chuckled, his hand naturally resting on her beautiful leg. The feel of this leg was truly superb, fair and smooth, immensely satisfying.

Qiao Weiwei snorted, "That depends on your performance. If you can make me happy, I might even sleep with you. But, it still depends on my mood!"

"Alas, being a man is so tiring," Li Se sighed profoundly.

"It is quite tiring, after all, you have to serve so many women," Qiao Weiwei giggled. "I sometimes wonder, when we all give ourselves to you in the future, will you be able to manage? Won't you, as they say online, die from exhaustion?"

"Impossible, right?" Li Se had a bad feeling. Could Qiao Weiwei have the same idea as Zhang Aimin and the others, wanting to drain him dry?

"Why impossible?" Qiao Weiwei showed a mischievous smile. "What if I want to do it several times a night, and then the other sisters also want to do it several times, how could you possibly handle that?"

"I'll just exercise more," Li Se shivered involuntarily. This was a problem. It seemed he needed to replenish his vitality. Fortunately, he was a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine and an ancient martial artist, so he naturally wasn't worried about his physical condition. If he were an ordinary person, he would surely die from exhaustion.

"Even if you don't die from exhaustion, won't your kidneys give out later?" Qiao Weiwei challenged him provocatively.

"You want to try?" Li Se was baffled. Did this Qiao Weiwei dare to question him?

"There will be a chance in the future!" Qiao Weiwei laughed heartily.

They chatted and laughed as they drove. After about half an hour, following the directions Qiao Weiwei gave, Li Se parked the car in front of a small Western-style house. In a place as valuable as Beijing, owning such a house naturally indicated they were not ordinary people. The location alone, with this house, would cost at least ten million yuan.

According to Qiao Weiwei's introduction, the residents of this house were her mother's very close confidante. Her mother had strongly urged her to visit this friend while in Beijing, and this friend was also very kind to her.

"Weiwei?"

As they approached the door, before the doorbell could even be pressed, a surprised voice called out. A woman around forty years old, dressed elegantly and beautifully, a picture of a wealthy lady, appeared.

"Aunt Xue!" Qiao Weiwei immediately hugged the lady.

"I heard from your mother that you were coming to Beijing. You're only coming to see Aunt Xue now. If you hadn't come any sooner, I would have been angry," Aunt Xue said.

"Aunt Xue, I'm here now," Qiao Weiwei stuck out her tongue.

"And who is this?" Aunt Xue looked at Li Se with some surprise.

"My boyfriend, Li Se," Qiao Weiwei introduced.

"Weiwei, when did you find a boyfriend?" Aunt Xue sized up Li Se from head to toe, looking surprised but more so suspicious.

"I found him a while ago. I came to Beijing this time because of him," Qiao Weiwei smiled.

"Aunt Xue," Li Se greeted politely.

However, Aunt Xue didn't seem to be very welcoming towards Li Se. She merely nodded in response before leading Qiao Weiwei into the house. The living room of the small Western-style house was luxuriously decorated. On the sofa sat a middle-aged man reading a newspaper, and beside him was a young man. The two of them bore a slight resemblance, indicating they were father and son.

"Old Yang, come quickly, look who's here!" Aunt Xue said as soon as she entered the living room.

Yang Boxin, Aunt Xue's husband, was quite surprised to see Qiao Weiwei. "It's Weiwei! You've become more beautiful."

"Uncle Yang," Qiao Weiwei greeted.

"Weiwei, do you still remember me?" the young man beside him asked excitedly.

"You're... Yang Feng?" Qiao Weiwei asked in surprise.

"Yes, I was studying abroad. It's been almost ten years since we last saw each other, right?" Yang Feng was very excited, especially the way he looked at Qiao Weiwei, which was clearly different. It wasn't strange; Qiao Weiwei was naturally very beautiful, and almost any man would be smitten upon seeing her. At least, Li Se hadn't met anyone who wasn't, and he was feeling a bit displeased. He suddenly realized why Aunt Xue wasn't welcoming him; it seemed she intended to introduce Weiwei to her own son.

"Weiwei, you and Feng'er were very close when you were little. I remember you used to stick to him all the time. I wonder if you still do now that you've grown up," Aunt Xue said, half-jokingly.

Yang Feng looked on with anticipation and excitement. However, the words fell awkwardly on Qiao Weiwei's ears. "Aunt Xue, I already have a boyfriend, and we're planning to get married. Besides, I was young back then."

"Weiwei, you're getting married? To whom?" Yang Feng asked, looking astonished. He completely ignored Li Se, who was behind Qiao Weiwei, as if Li Se didn't even exist in his eyes.

"My boyfriend, Li Se," Qiao Weiwei linked her arm through Li Se's and introduced him formally.

Yang Feng appeared to notice Li Se for the first time, a hint of darkness in his eyes. However, he still extended his hand with a smile and said, "Hello, may I ask where you are currently employed?"
