"Teacher Ban, how long do you think it will take for my father to find us?"
In the simple wooden house, Uchiha Madara and the three Yu siblings sat around a table. Besides some snacks and small pastries, a pot of clear tea was placed in the center, emitting wisps of white steam.
The question came from Yu Chengze, his face anxious. The tea in front of him remained untouched; he had no appetite for it.
"I miss Daddy!" Yu Shuya's clear, bright wine-red eyes were clouded with a mist. Her small mouth pouted, on the verge of tears.
If Yu Chengze and his brother held mostly admiration for Yu Zhibo, then Yu Shuya undoubtedly adored him. Although she hadn't spent much time with Yu Zhibo, he had left a deep impression on her.
When facing Yu Chengze and his brother, Yu Zhibo was gentle yet stern. But towards Yu Shuya, he was completely doting. Whatever Yu Shuya wanted, even if it were the stars, Yu Zhibo would help her pluck them from the sky.
Compared to her mother, Bai Chanyi, whose eyes were solely on Yu Zhibo, she preferred Yu Zhibo by a considerable margin.
Upon learning that Yu Zhibo had left Earth with their mother, Yu Shuya felt as though the sky had fallen. She cried for a long time. Even though a clone of Yu Zhibo stood in for him, Yu Shuya, being so intelligent, immediately recognized that it wasn't her father.
As time passed, her longing for Yu Zhibo not only didn't diminish but grew even stronger. Therefore, upon learning that Yu Zhibo was in the Eternal Night World, she followed Yu Chengze there without hesitation.
Under Yu Shuya's expectant gaze, even Uchiha Madara felt a bit pressured. He took a sip of tea, coughed lightly, and said, "Shuya, don't worry. Your eldest brother just used your father's pupil power to create a mirror clone. If your father is still in this realm, he would definitely be able to sense it."
"Okay!" Yu Shuya pursed her lips and sat obediently in her seat, waiting. However, her mind was already picturing the scene when she would see Yu Zhibo. As she thought about it, a hint of innocent joy flickered across her slightly chubby face.
Although she was now thirteen years old and looked like a high school girl, having been showered with love since childhood, her heart remained pure and untainted. Her thoughts were always openly displayed on her face.
Yu Chengze glanced at her, unable to bear watching.
"Silly girl!"
He couldn't help but tease her.
His personality was aloof and tsundere. While he deeply cared for his sister, Yu Shuya, he never expressed it verbally. In fact, he enjoyed teasing her, a habit formed over the years.
"Yu Chengze, if you call me that again, I'll have Dad spank you!" Yu Shuya glared at him, puffing out her cheeks.
"Crying and laughing, how shameless! Na-na-na!" Yu Chengze made a face at her. "Dad won't spank me!"
"Big Brother, look at him... he's bullying me!" Yu Shuya grabbed Yu Chengsong's arm and pouted.
Yu Chengsong cast a disdainful glance at the two childish siblings and ignored them. He quietly picked up his teacup and took a sip, remaining silent.
However, his senses were fully extended, ensuring he could detect Yu Zhibo's arrival at the earliest opportunity.
Just as he was about to finish the tea in his mouth, a voice laced with a hint of amusement suddenly reached his ears:
"You've waited a long time, my children!"
Accompanying the voice was a tall, slender figure that gradually solidified from ethereal to substantial.
The man had flowing black hair, stood at one meter ninety-five, with ape-like arms and a wasp-like waist. His temples were sharply defined. He wore a sleek, dark brocade robe with subtle modern fashion elements. His narrow, elongated eyes were shaped like deep purple vortices, exuding an extreme, handsome, and enchanting aura. He was Yu Zhibo.
The corners of his lips curved upwards, and he tilted his head slightly, spreading his arms in an embracing gesture. He looked at his three children with a gentle expression.
"Daddy!" Yu Shuya let out a surprised cry. Tears streamed down like pearls from a broken string. In the next second, her small body transformed into a red lightning bolt, crashing fiercely into Yu Zhibo's embrace.
"Dad!" Yu Chengze also rushed over immediately.
"Father!" Yu Chengsong stood up and walked towards Yu Zhibo, a smile gracing his lips and his eyes filled with adoration.
A soft power emanated from Yu Zhibo, nullifying the kinetic energy of Yu Shuya's charge. He then pulled her into his arms, murmuring, "There, there, if you keep crying, you'll turn into a little crybaby."
"I missed you so much~" Yu Shuya's tears flowed like a flood, and she rubbed her face desperately against Yu Zhibo's chest, soaking his clothes.
Yu Zhibo didn't speak, only gently patted her back, feeling a surge of emotion.
Five years had passed. The once tiny, adorable child had grown into a remarkably beautiful and intelligent young girl. Yet, before him, she still acted like a child who never grew up, openly displaying her dependence and affection, just as she always had.
At this moment, he finally understood why Wang Shouyi had looked at him with such displeasure back then. If such a cute little daughter were to be snatched away by some brat, he would surely go berserk too.
"Dad missed you too!"
Although Yu Shuya was now one meter sixty, she still appeared small in front of him, who stood at one meter ninety-five. Yu Zhibo gently stroked her head, his voice soft.
Yu Shuya let out a soft hum and clung to Yu Zhibo's waist, unwilling to let go.
Yu Zhibo carried a faint scent of grass. To Yu Shuya, this was the unique aroma of her father's embrace – powerful and secure, making her feel exceptionally cherished.
Yu Zhibo turned his gaze to Yu Chengze. Seeing his hesitant expression, wanting to get closer but feeling too shy, he couldn't help but chuckle.
Yu Chengze was now as tall as Yu Chengsong, both nearing one meter eighty. They looked more like brothers than father and son.
He reached out and put an arm around Yu Chengze's shoulder, adopting a camaraderie-like expression, and said with a light laugh, "Yo, isn't this our second young master? You've awakened your Mangekyo Sharingan too, impressive!"
"Hehe, Daddy!" Yu Chengze beamed with a silly grin. What was his purpose in crossing space and time to find Yu Zhibo? Wasn't it for a word of approval from Yu Zhibo? Now that his goal was achieved, he felt immensely satisfied.
"Eldest brother has also become more like a man... and stronger too!" Yu Zhibo looked up at the composed Yu Chengsong, his face showing approval, and nodded slightly at him.
Yu Chengsong wore a subtle smile, but a hint of disappointment flashed in his eyes.
Yu Zhibo: ?
After a moment of contemplation, he reached out and ruffled Yu Chengsong's hair, saying, "It's just that your personality is a bit too reserved. You've worked hard taking care of your younger siblings all these years."
"It's not hard, Father!"
Yu Chengsong replied respectfully, but the curve of his lips couldn't help but widen.
Clearly, he also enjoyed Yu Zhibo's affection, just not as overtly as his younger siblings.
Yu Zhibo couldn't help but feel a bit speechless: Good heavens, the eldest son appears quite steady, but he's also a tsundere.
After exchanging pleasantries with his three sons for a while, Yu Zhibo turned his gaze to Uchiha Madara, a distant smile on his face:
"Mr. Madara, is the Eternal Night World fun?"
