Sheng Tang thought for a moment, then nodded in agreement.
The car headed to the restaurant.
The Hong Kong-style morning tea included various dim sum and rice porridge.
Sheng Tang ordered a bowl of white rice porridge. With simple bandages on both hands, using chopsticks and a spoon was no problem. She slowly drank the porridge, but her mind was elsewhere.
Gu Shiting held his chopsticks, not moving at all.
After a long while, he finally said, "I’ll go see a psychologist."
Sheng Tang looked at him, puzzled.

"I’m not angry," Sheng Tang said with a smile. "You don’t need to see a psychologist, you’re fine. Standing up against injustice and taking action is a very brave thing."
The gloom in Gu Shiting’s eyes gradually lifted, and sunlight sparkled in his gaze.
The smile at the corners of his mouth was unstoppable.
"You’re not blaming me?" His delight was evident in his voice.
"You stood up for me, I’m grateful; you took me to the doctor and invited me for morning tea, why would I blame you?" Sheng Tang said with a smile.
Gu Shiting then knew that Tangtang was the person in this world who understood him the best.
It’s rare to meet a soulmate in life.
And he had met one.
With Sheng Tang, his world was filled with sunlight again.
"Thank you," Sheng Tang pressed the back of her hand against his.
Gu Shiting turned his hand over and gently held hers, afraid to use too much force for fear of hurting her wound.
"Come on, eat something." Sheng Tang handed him a piece of cheese roll.
Gu Shiting took a bite, it was especially delicious.
Maybe it was because he was in a good mood.
After they had eaten, Sheng Tang took out her phone to check it and saw a message from Song Chen.
Song Chen told her and Gu Shiting that they didn’t need to go to school today as he had already requested leave for them.
"Madam has returned to the city and is meeting guests outside, but she’ll be home for dinner in the evening. If you have nothing to do, come over tonight, madam really wants to see you," Song Chen added.
Sheng Tang replied with an "Okay."
Then she and Gu Shiting returned to the Gu Family Villa.
With final exams approaching, Sheng Tang was still struggling a bit with math, so she asked Gu Shiting to tutor her.
As long as Gu Shiting was with Sheng Tang, he didn’t mind doing anything.
They studied at home together for the whole morning.
At noon, Gu Shiting personally went to the kitchen and made a few dishes which he and Sheng Tang ate together.
After eating, Sheng Tang wanted to take a nap.
Gu Shiting insisted on watching her fall asleep, and Sheng Tang let him.
She quickly fell into a peaceful sleep, her face displaying a serene tranquility.
Gu Shiting stood by her side for a while, then quietly took off his shoes and lay down beside her.
He slowly pulled her into his arms.
Although it was cold outside, it was warm under the covers, and there was a pleasant fragrance, perhaps from Sheng Tang’s shampoo or body wash, a faint lemon scent.
Gu Shiting gently held her.
She seemed to trust him, showing signs of waking but soon falling back into a deep sleep.
