"I won’t give any additional gifts." Mrs. Gu said with a smile, "Ting, make sure to put some thought into giving Tangtang a good birthday present."
"I know." Gu Shiting replied.
Sheng Tang smiled.
She privately said to Gu Shiting, "Don’t give me anything too expensive."
"Not expensive, just a little something," Gu Shiting said, "Don’t worry."
Sheng Tang was still a bit uneasy.
She played all day and had dinner at the Gu Family’s house before heading home.
She planned to tell her parents about it honestly.
Unexpectedly, when she arrived at the entrance of her apartment complex, she saw her mother and younger brother at the building entrance, braving the cold wind as if waiting for her.
"Mom." Sheng Tang dashed into her mother’s arms.
She was carrying several bags in her hands, which were clothes and shoes given by Mrs. Gu.

"What’s that girl’s name?" Mom asked.
"Yang Mingming, a senior, a popular figure at school, I’m not very familiar with her," Sheng Tang said.
Just because her popularity overshadowed others, she had to suffer such unwarranted misfortune.
"Glad you’re okay." Mom said, "It’s better to be kind to others."

Her brother was indignant, feeling it was unfair for his sister.

She described Yang Mingming’s miserable state to her brother.
Her brother then felt a bit better.
After eating for more than an hour, Mom took the siblings for a walk in the complex.
It was very cold outside, with the wind blowing, the weather was the least suitable for walking.
