I felt that I didn't even know if I could finish writing in a year.

It really got to that point.

So I was particularly uneasy when the story of Chen Hero began.

Although I worked hard to write it, and added a cheat-like Goldfinger (external device) that I had never tried before.

Throughout the whole month of October, the competition for new book monthly tickets was fierce—I wasn't competing with any author, in fact, I had no opponent from the very beginning that month. The first place was Mao Ni, the gap was too big, I didn't even have the idea of competing with him. The third place, I forgot which book it was, anyway, the gap was also very big at the time, the other party seemed to struggle for a few days, and then stopped.

So the second place was fixed from the beginning.

But I was still high-spirited and working hard, coding words.

My wife had to go to the hospital for prenatal checkups every month, and I drove her there. Then her mother took her to do the checkup, and I took out my computer in the underground parking lot and coded words, sitting for several hours, just coding words.

I really admired myself.

When I wrote *Champion Godfather*, I also said that I was never a speed-type writer, and that it would be more uncomfortable than killing me to explode and compete for monthly tickets.

But on this book, Chen Hero, I did it.

Yesterday, Sister Sandbag was in the word-拼 (pin) group and counted how many words everyone wrote in 2012. I calculated it and the final result was 4,012,787, four million twelve thousand seven hundred and eighty-seven words.

Four million words, I used a year.

In the past, I wouldn't have dared to think about it.
