Last night was the first time I stayed up all night taking care of my own child. Before, it was either my mother or my mother-in-law taking turns. I basically didn't sleep well for most of the night. After the child finished his milk, I had to pick him up and pat his back. Even after putting him down, he wouldn't fall asleep right away. He would grunt and stretch his arms and legs, so I had to soothe him at all times and make sure he didn't kick off the blanket and catch a cold. Plus, I had to change his diaper, and often he would poop again while I was changing it, and then I'd have to change it all over again. That's just how it goes.

My mother-in-law went home, and my mother's lumbar disc herniation flared up again. She tweaked her back yesterday, so from now on, I'll basically be the one taking care of him. So, I really don't know what my work state will be like during the day after this…

But I still have to give it my all tomorrow because the baby is a month old, so we'll celebrate!
