Lin Hai Ting Tao
Chapter 1257 Setting Up a Dragon Gate Formation, Soliciting Monthly Tickets
But I still wanted to write it, because always writing about Chen Yingxiong, about matches, about him constantly scoring goals, beating people, achieving victory… gets boring.
I wanted to write a story that isn't closely related to winning or losing, but is closely related to football, and especially related to people, a pretty heartwarming story. It tells, from the side, the story of two fans who should have been enemies in the city of Liverpool. In this story, Chen Yingxiong isn't even the main character.
I just wanted to write such a story to show the football culture and atmosphere of England and Liverpool, to express what football really means to the people there. Just like I wrote in the text, for an elderly person living alone, football may be the only spiritual pillar and sustenance.
So I used eight or nine chapters to write this story.
Using a special ticket to connect Liverpool and Everton fans.
Of course, Chen Yingxiong is the main character, but sometimes we can temporarily, even if only for a second or two, shift our gaze from him to those ordinary people cheering for him in the stands, right?
Just like *The Damned United*, if the perspective is always on Tony Don, that book would definitely not be good. You need all kinds of supporting characters. To be honest, *King of the Zone* is not as good as *The Damned United* in this regard, so I want to write some supporting characters like that, and strive to show everyone a real and believable world of football.
So I racked my brains and came up with such a story. The inspiration for the story came from a joke on the Internet—underneath a ticket for the FA Cup semi-final between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool, there was a sentence: "I swear I must find the owner of this ticket—this is a Liverpool fan!"
It was because of this sentence that I had so many feelings, and then I had this little story.
I hope everyone doesn't come to this story with the mood of "I must see the protagonist kill everyone, and see the protagonist score goals, score goals, and keep scoring goals." Relax a little, just treat it as a halftime break, and enjoy this story that I think is quite heartwarming.
If you like it, then thank you.
If you don't like it, uh, I still thank you...
Finally, begging for monthly votes!!!
Six updates in a burst! The manuscript is getting less and less, but I still burst out six updates. Considering how hard I'm working, it shouldn't be difficult to ask for a few monthly votes, right?
It's the end of the month. If you still have them, they will expire if you don't vote! Keeping them won't produce any offspring. Vote for me, vote for *King of the Zone*!!
