Chapter 46 Jiang Feifei Enters the Company

Arriving at the door of Di Mingjue’s office, Jiang Feifei adjusted her makeup in the mirror, striving for perfection down to every strand of hair.

Knock, knock!

After a long while, there was no response from inside.

Not here?

Jiang Feifei grew even happier.

She stealthily reached out, twisted the doorknob, and peeked her head in.

“Di… President Di…” Jiang Feifei stood at the doorway, at a loss.

“Get out!” Di Mingjue roared.

There was a rule at Di Jue Group: no employee was allowed to enter the top floor. Regular employees’ elevators couldn’t reach the top floor; it was exclusively for the president.

Jiang Feifei took a step back, unwilling to leave but afraid to stay. After hesitating for a long time, she stammered an explanation, “I am Jiang Feifei, Jiang Ziyu’s sister.”

Sister?

The sister who snatched her fiancé?

Di Mingjue looked up. He couldn’t see clearly, but he could stare directly at Jiang Feifei’s position. His lips parted, and his ruthless words came out again, “Get out!”

With a thud, Jiang Feifei, not paying attention as she stepped back, fell onto the ground.

Just then, Shen Lin, who had returned with lunch, saw the disheveled Jiang Feifei as soon as he exited the elevator.

Trouble!

Shen Lin quickened his pace, walked past the person on the ground, and went straight into the office.

“President Di, are you alright?” Shen Lin asked.

Di Mingjue shook his head, pointed towards the door, “Take her away.”

Without daring to delay, Shen Lin put down his bag and turned towards Jiang Feifei.

“Miss Jiang, please leave this place.”

Reluctantly getting up from the ground, Jiang Feifei’s demeanor shifted from fear to dissatisfaction. She was afraid of Di Mingjue, but not of Shen Lin. Haughtily shaking off his hand, with a look of judging people by their appearance, she yelled, “Take your dirty hands off me, I can walk myself.”

It didn’t matter if he was cold and heartless to her now; once she achieved something at Di Jue Group, he would look at her with new eyes. After all, compared to Jiang Ziyu, she was younger and more talented.

Entering the elevator, Jiang Feifei stared intently at the outside. In a couple of days, she would be invited up by Di Mingjue.

Seeing that she had left, Shen Lin returned to the office.

“President Di, the person has left,” Shen Lin reported.

Di Mingjue, signing a document on his desk, said, “Continue.”

Now?

Shen Lin looked at the bag on the corner of the desk. “President Di, I brought you lunch. Please eat something.”

“No need, continue,” Di Mingjue urged.

Unable to dissuade him, Shen Lin could only follow the command.

Inside the kindergarten, Jiang Ziyu sat around a small square table with three children.

The kindergarten provided lunch, and Jiang Ziyu had planned to take the three children out, but Qianqian wanted to stay.

Upon hearing that she had never eaten lunch with other children before, Jiang Ziyu indulged her.

After lunch, Xiao Ran, Qianqian, and Yu Ze insisted on going on the swings.

Jiang Ziyu watched the three children playing happily, taking photos with her phone from the side.

At that moment, her phone rang, indicating an incoming call.

Glancing at the unfamiliar number on the screen, Jiang Ziyu pressed the reject button.

Everyone close to her knew her number; she never answered unknown calls.

The screen returned to the camera. Just as she was about to take another picture, the same number called again.

Could it be that her subordinates had changed their phones?

Thinking this, she looked at the flashing receive button. After a two-second hesitation, she tapped to answer.

“Hello, who is this?”

“Ziyu, it’s me.”

“Sheng Yan?”

Hearing the familiar yet unfamiliar voice, Jiang Ziyu guessed based on a feeling.

The person on the other end hadn’t expected her to recognize him so quickly. After a few seconds of surprise, he replied, “It’s me.”

“How did you get my number!” Jiang Ziyu demanded.

She had stopped using her previous phone number six years ago. The current number was one she had changed after returning to the country. Unless he had secretly hired someone to investigate her.

Thinking of this, a sense of disgust filled her heart.
