Chapter 24 Reclaiming the Organization

Ziyuan pointed her sword at him, her eyes bloodshot.

"You scoundrel, have you forgotten your master's kindness? Who took you in when you had nowhere to go, and who helped you avenge your brother!"

"Fake," Hong Feng sneered. "Identity, name, brother, it was all fake from the start. Prince Cheng sent me to investigate Liman Tower, I just didn't expect the楼主 behind it to be you."

The legitimate daughter of a marquis becoming the mastermind of the capital's largest intelligence network—anyone would be astonished.

Otherwise, why would Prince Cheng, who had always been indifferent to the late emperor's arranged marriage, suddenly change his demeanor and approach her?

"Master, you are too outstanding."

Excellence breeds jealousy, but in a superior, it breeds fear.

Su Yunmo slowly opened her lowered eyes, her voice as calm as the sea before a storm. "Are you finished?"

Hong Feng gritted his teeth. "Even if you kill me, you can't escape this fact. You, like me, were a pawn from the beginning..."

*Boom!*

The wall at the end of the alley collapsed with a roar, crushing Hong Feng within it.

Blood spurted out five to six meters, staining Su Yunmo's clothes and even splattering her face.

She was expressionless, like a Rakshasa in the darkness, raising her hand and violently sweeping it towards the ground.

Since the affection over the years was fake, she saw no need to cherish it any longer. She had merely kept a dog!

The fallen bricks flew into the air, then smashed down again.

*Thump!* Blood splattered once more.

Su Yunmo repeated the action until the person beneath the wall was a bloody mess.

Ziyuan's eyes reddened, and she averted her gaze, unable to watch.

After a while, Su Yunmo stopped.

Her clothes were now completely stained dark with blood, her blood-red eyes emitting an eerie glow. She enunciated each word: "Return to the organization!"

Ziyuan fiercely wiped away her tears, cast a final glance at the unrecognizable Hong Feng, a silent farewell.

She knelt on one knee, her gaze resolute. "Yes!"

From this moment on, she would be her master's fortress; anyone who dared to trespass would have to step over her corpse!

The members of Liman Tower were temporarily housed in a small courtyard on the outskirts of the city.

When Su Yunmo arrived, the group was in chaos.

Their楼主 was dead, and Liman Tower was sealed. They had experienced great upheaval and needed to find new patrons to ensure their survival.

"Prince Cheng was always Master's fiancé. What's wrong with us seeking refuge? Liman Tower being sealed isn't Prince Cheng's fault."

Someone was shouting, rallying them to join Ye Jingcheng's ranks.

"If it's not his fault, then it's someone present's fault," a childish yet resonant and sharp voice boomed from outside.

A bloody mass was thrown in from outside. This person had lost all limbs, their body was deformed from the impact, and blood trailed along their path.

Although their features were unrecognizable, the clothes were familiar to everyone.

"Left Protector!"

The crowd gasped in shock and looked up to see a child of about five years old entering.

She had devilish eyes, half her face stained red with blood like a demon, while the other half was as pure as an innocent elf.

Ziyuan walked behind her, in a protective stance.

"Right Protector, what is going on? Did you kill the Left Protector? Are you a traitor?!" someone questioned loudly.

Ziyuan offered no defense, not even a glance at them. She escorted Su Yunmo to the main seat and thoughtfully placed a cushion beneath the chair, raising it higher.

Su Yunmo sat down, coldly surveying the crowd below, and cut straight to the chase. "Those sent in by Ye Jingcheng, or anyone who has been in contact with him during this period, step forward."

"You little brat, do you know what this place is? Who allowed you to spout such nonsense here?" The speaker was the man who had initially rallied them to defect.

Su Yunmo's gaze sharpened, and she flicked her hand.

The teacup on the table instantly flew out like a blade, sharp as a knife, directly slitting the man's throat.

Blood spurted out, splashing onto everyone. The man collapsed, his eyes wide with unseeing fury!

The crowd was stunned, looking at Su Yunmo with immense fear.

Su Yunmo stated, "Like your master, I don't like to repeat myself."

Everyone was filled with dread, instinctively backing away. Before them was not a child, but a killer demon.

Moments later, two people, unable to withstand the pressure, stepped forward.

One of them stammered, "This is our business, it has nothing to do with you."

Su Yunmo did not reply. She merely swept her gaze across the crowd and uttered two words: "Anyone else."

Silence filled the room, and then four more people emerged.

Su Yunmo looked at them, almost unable to suppress a laugh.

Look, just look! This was the organization she had cultivated, these were the brothers she had trusted the most!

Very good, excellent!

"Ziyuan, kill them!"

Ziyuan obeyed, leaping forward. Her sword was swift and precise, piercing the hearts of two of them. The other four were suddenly startled.

The rest of the crowd was also greatly alarmed.

"Stop, stop quickly!"

Someone shouted, but Ziyuan was incredibly fast. With a flourish of her sword, in just a moment, this vast space was filled with the stench of blood.

Red, staining the ground.

The crowd erupted into a frenzy. One person pointed at Su Yunmo on the seat. "Who are you? Why do you order the Right Protector to kill our people!"

They yelled, and in their collective anger, they moved to attack.

Ziyuan blocked them, raising her sword and severing the hand pointing at Su Yunmo. Her expression was cold. "Kneel, all of you!"

"Why should we kneel to a little girl! She's not qualified!" someone in the crowd shouted, and others echoed their indignation.

Ziyuan's eyes narrowed, and the sword in her hand flew out, embedding itself seven inches deep into the floor in front of them!

Her dark gaze slowly swept across the crowd, exuding immense pressure. She said just one word: "Kneel!"

The title of Liman Tower's Right Protector was not given lightly. The crowd recoiled in fear, none daring to step forward.

Slowly, one person knelt, and then everyone followed suit, though their faces showed reluctance.

Once the commotion subsided, Su Yunmo finally spoke. "I have a connection with your master. She is dead, so I will take over here."

The secret of the Glazed Lock was known only to Ziyuan and Hong Feng. Resurrection and soul transference were not things everyone could accept.

Someone sneered, seemingly dismissive.

"I know Liman Tower has always valued strength above all else. You think I'm not worthy, then..." She paused and then made a fierce grab towards the crowd below.

*Thump!*

The sneering person's head exploded.

Su Yunmo curled her blood-stained lips and enunciated each word, "Is this enough?"

A cacophony of screams erupted in the room. They lived lives on the edge of a blade and had seen death before.

But this method of killing was too terrifying, truly too terrifying!

One person, unable to bear it, turned and ran towards the exit.

Su Yunmo waved her hand, and the door slammed shut, sealing him inside. Simultaneously, the room grew dark.

Only a sliver of light fell on Su Yunmo's face, making the bloodstains even more gruesome.

That person, unable to withstand the pressure, suddenly fell to his knees, desperately kowtowing.

"Your subordinate did not intentionally betray our master. Prince Cheng's threats were unavoidable. Your subordinate merely cooperated with the arson, and the Marquis's second daughter was also involved."
