In the factory, machines rumbled as Liang Bo worked.
Chu Xi entered the workshop, holding a delicate bag, looking for him.
"Liang Bo, I'm here to return your clothes."
Liang Bo was surprised she came to find him so soon. He held up his greasy hands and said,
"It's too dirty in here, not suitable for you. It's just a worn-out piece of clothing, you didn't have to bother coming all this way."
Chu Xi tilted her head, looking at him adorably.
"So what are you saying? You don't welcome me?"

Chu Xi stopped him. "No need. You carry on with your work. I just came to look around, I don't want to delay you."
"But if I'm working, no one will keep you company."
"I don't need you to keep me company. Can I look around freely?"
"Of course."
"Then go back to work. I'll call you if I need anything."
Chu Xi began to wander around the workshop.
Dressed in a coat and boots worth tens of thousands of yuan, with exquisite makeup and exuding a faint fragrance, she floated through the grimy workshop, appearing like a fairy descended to earth to anyone who saw her.
Liang Bo's colleagues saw her and greeted her one after another.
"Miss Chu is here again, hello Miss Chu."
"Don't call me Miss Chu, don't I have a name?"
"Well, your name isn't for us to call you. How about we call you sister-in-law?"
Chu Xi smiled, not refuting them.
After strolling around the entire workshop, she still didn't want to leave and went to Liang Bo.
"Can I stay in your room for a while? I don't want to go back, I'm bored being alone."
Liang Bo said she could, "But there's nothing fun in my room. How about you play on the computer?"
Liang Bo gave her the password, and Chu Xi went to his room to play on the computer.
She didn't want to log into her social accounts, as there was no one she wanted to contact. So, she started browsing Liang Bo's folders, wanting to see what he usually wrote.
As she browsed, she found something remarkable in a hidden file.
It was a rebate agreement contract for He Yao.
It clearly listed both their names and the rebate rate.
Chu Xi's heart skipped a beat.
She then began to sift through various documents on his desk and quickly found the rebate contract, signed and sealed by He Yao herself.
At noon, Liang Bo came back from work early to accompany her, only to find she had already ordered takeout and bought lunch.
The small dining table in the room was laden with food.
Liang Bo felt a little embarrassed. "You're the guest, how could you treat us?"
Chu Xi replied, "If you can treat me, why can't I treat you? Besides, it's not just for you, invite them to join us too."
At noon, everyone sat together cheerfully, eating and joking, and the time passed pleasantly.
After the meal, Liang Bo asked Chu Xi to rest for a while, as he had to get back to work.
Chu Xi asked if he was that rushed.
Liang Bo said yes, "Mainly because our factory is small, with few people and machines. If we don't work overtime, we won't be able to finish."
Chu Xi joked, "It seems you've taken on a big order."
Liang Bo smiled and said, "For my factory's size, it's quite large. But it's far from Chu's. Don't tease me. If you want to stay, you can take a nap. I'll try to get off work early this afternoon. If you don't want to stay, you can leave anytime, and I'll find you when I have time."
Chu Xi, however, said, "I want to go to the workshop with you."
"That won't do. If I don't finish all my orders, the profit won't be enough to compensate for your clothes."
Chu Xi pouted, "Am I that delicate? Didn't you say it was just a worn-out piece of clothing, and it was fine if I didn't return it? If you're really worried, I can wear yours."
Liang Bo was hesitant. "The key is there's no need. Why would you go to the workshop? I won't have time to talk to you when I'm busy."
"Can't I go to work? I have hands and feet. You can do it, so can I."
"You want to help me work?"
"Why? Not welcome?"
Liang Bo spread his hands. "Miss Chu, I can't afford your status."
Chu Xi said, "You don't have to pay me. It's free. Consider it me being an apprentice, so my father won't say I'm out of touch with reality. This time I'll properly learn some skills to show him."
Liang Bo smiled and asked, "Why are you suddenly so interested in my workshop? Don't tell me you're trying to uncover some secrets?"
Chu Xi said, "Your secrets wouldn't fetch much money even if I stole them, so I wouldn't bother. I'm just here to learn skills."
"But operating the machines is risky. What if something happens..."
"Why are you so long-winded? Do you think I'm that stupid? If you're really worried, I'll write you a disclaimer. If something happens, I won't hold you responsible."
Seeing her determination, Liang Bo could only agree and found a set of loose work clothes for her.
His brothers saw that Miss Chu herself had come to help them work and became even more enthusiastic.
The work atmosphere in the workshop was exceptionally high that afternoon; everyone was busy and happy.
In the evening, Chu Xi treated everyone to dinner again, making them feel quite embarrassed.

Chu Xi stayed at Liang Bo's workshop until past nine o'clock in the evening and then called for a designated driver to take her home.

She had to return to work.
She wore a wig, hiding her injury. Xu Zheng thought she was fine and arranged for a technician, a driver, and her to go together.
The inspection went smoothly, and the driver immediately took the products to the electroplating processing plant for further work.
After He Yao and her entourage left, Liang Bo called Chu Xi.
He informed her that the first batch of products had been successfully completed, gave his brothers a day off, and invited her to dinner that day as a treat from his brothers.
Chu Xi happily agreed, but on her way to the appointment, she handed a copy of the pre-reproduced contract to a certain branch bureau.
At ten in the morning, He Yao was in her office processing documents when a young woman at the front desk led in a group of police officers with serious expressions.
Xu Zheng was startled, thinking something had happened to the company, and rushed forward to greet them.
To his surprise, they asked, "Who is He Yao? We received a verified report that she is suspected of receiving large rebates. She needs to come with us to cooperate with the investigation."
